Recap:Carly declined Sonny's offer to move back into the penthouse in order to test the waters, but she assured him that she still wanted him to adopt Michael. Recap:Carly declined Sonny's offer to move back into the penthouse in order to test the waters, but she assured him that she still wanted him to adopt Michael. When she told Mike about her decision, he chastised her for not jumping at the opportunity. Carly explained that she didn't want to live her life hoping for Sonny's approval and walking on egg shells around him. She declared that Sonny needed to accept her completely or they would never have a future together. While the celebration went on downstairs, Luke and Laura looked over mementos in the attic and recalled happier days together. Luke told Laura how proud he was and had always been of her strength and courage. He also let her know that he had received the final divorce papers and Laura was stunned to realize that it had all come to an end. Scott interrupted them, but left them alone to talk. After congratulating Nikolas and Lucky for their bravery, Luke returned to the club. Scott lingered at Laura's house and when she asked if he was okay, he blurted out a marriage proposal. Janine accepted Monica's check, but Skye ripped it out of her hands. The three women physically struggled over the check and Janine ultimately held on to it. Monica reminded her that she needed to leave town and the Quartermaines in order for the check to be cashed. When Monica left, Skye told Janine that she had a better offer. Janine coolly countered and said that if Skye paid her two hundred and fifty thousand dollars, she would do whatever was asked of her. Later, Janine went to Luke's Club and was shocked when she came face to face with Mike. Stefan asked Jax if he would return the Cassadine assets that he had bought to outwit Helena. Jax decided that rather than give them over, he would gamble with Stefan for them. They drew cards with the premise that whomever had the highest card would give the other the Cassadine properties. Though Jax drew a higher card, he didn't let Stefan see it and he surreptitiously switched it with a lower card, thus giving the assets back to the family. Alexis saw his maneuver and thanked him. Back in his hotel room, Jax was surprised to find Skye lounging on the sofa. Sonny crashed the welcome home party after learning that Alexis had been kidnapped. He was relieved to see that she was well and offered to take her home. Though Jax and Ned displayed open hostility toward Sonny, Kristina politely introduced herself and made friends. Alexis took Sonny up on his offer and they went back to the Penthouse. Once there, Sonny decided not to leave in order to keep Alexis safe.
