Recap:Liz and Nikolas checked the boxcar for Lucky, hoping that he may have sought refuge there. Unfortunately, he wasn't there and Liz despaired of ever finding him. She believed that since Lucky had willingly turned her over to Nikolas, he had given up on his future and would be helpless against Helena. Nikolas hoped that Lucky's love for Liz was strong enough to overcome Helena's programming. Liz reached out to Lucky mentally and sent him all of her love and strength. Sonny stood over Sorel's bed and casually listed some of the evil things Sorel had done. Sorel had shot Zander, tried to kill Emily, attempted to blow up Carly and Michael, stabbed Sonny in the back, and terrorized Carly with the threat of making her his. Sonny declared that it was time for Sorel to finally pay for his sins. Sonny planned to take over his enemy's territory after he made sure that Sorel breathed his last. He picked up the tube connecting Sorel to the oxygen tank and it appeared that he was going to unplug it when Angel came in. She stopped Sonny and persuaded him to call for a doctor. Tony came in and ordered them out of the room. In the hallway, Sonny told Angel that he hadn't planned on killing Sorel just then, he was simply shaking him up. Angel didn't care about Sorel's life, she just didn't want Sonny to pay for the crime. Sonny invited her to have dinner with him, but she decided to stay with Sorel instead. Roy took Melissa into the hospital lounge so that they could have some privacy. As gently as he could, he told her that Sorel was the one who had ordered her brother Leo's death in prison on the day that Leo was to have been released. Melissa reeled at the cruelty of such an action and Roy said that he had never known a man as cruel and cold as Sorel. Melissa understood why Roy wanted Sorel dead and she agreed that hell wasn't good enough for the evil mobster. She was called away to assist in the O.R. and Roy promised to wait for her to be finished. Melissa was horrified to see that the patient was Joseph Sorel. Bobbie took Carly back to the Brownstone and attempted to dissuade her daughter from going after Sonny. Bobbie was afraid that Carly was making the same mistakes she had and she didn't want to see her get hurt. Carly refused to listen because she was convinced that she could make Sonny love and trust her again. Mike stopped by for a visit and Bobbie tried to enlist him to help Carly see reason. While Mike wasn't entirely supportive of Carly's plan, he did believe that there was a chance for a reconciliation. He suggested that Carly just give Sonny some time. Carly realized that if she hadn't lost the baby, she and Sonny would probably still be very happy. Struck with a sudden thought, Carly flipped through her calendar and then raced out of the Brownstone. Bobbie looked through the calendar and told Mike that it was the worst possible news. Sonny sat in his office reading the paper when Carly burst in. She happily told him that she was pregnant. Luke begged Lucky to run away from the lab, but Helena's programming stopped him. She commanded him to stick Luke with the syringe of biotoxin. Lucky was torn between his father's pleas and Helena's orders. Stavros attempted to interfere and kill Luke himself, but Helena wouldn't let him. To reinforce Lucky's programming, Helena brought out the Ice Princess. When Lucky saw it, he started to cry and he apologized to his father as he injected him with the needle. Luke collapsed to the floor and Lucky cradled him in his arms. Helena knelt down and kissed Luke's hand. She told him that she would miss him as an opponent. Luke started to spasm and then suddenly went still. Helena's men carried him out as Lucky wept on the floor.
