A.J. and Skye relished the moment when Lila came in and asked who Janine was. Skye saved the day by declaring that Janine was an old college mate of hers who was in town for a special reunion. When Lila left, Edward soon followed and suggested that Janine do the same. Skye assured a disappointed Janine that she would make sure Edward "remembered" his association with her. Later, Skye told Edward that the only thing she wanted from him was his assured cooperation in her dealings with the family. Sonny went to Alexis for advice about his marriage to Carly. He confessed that after the passionate interlude they had shared at the lake house, he was doubting whether he should really go through with the divorce. Alexis said that because she was his lawyer and didn't particularly like Carly, she couldn't be objective. She also almost slipped and spilled the fact that she was attracted to Sonny. After listening to the various options Alexis listed, Sonny decided to talk to Carly about the situation. Carly was stunned to find Lucien Cane in her living room. He told her that Letitia had allowed him to wait for her, and he hoped she wouldn't mind. She said that she had come home intent on taking Michael to the park, so it wasn't a good time for a visit. He got her attention by telling her about the son he had lost due to his wife's family influencing him negatively. Carly confided in him about her betrayal of Sonny, and she was surprised when he understood and accepted her motives. The two bonded over their similarities. Stavros arranged to take her and Michael to a video arcade, which he had rented for their exclusive use. Carly was pleased to see how well the two got along, and Stavros experienced a moment of genuine pleasure as well. Just then, Sonny came in, having been alerted by Letitia as to their whereabouts. Nikolas struggled to convince Lucky that he had always been on his side, in spite of how things appeared. Fortunately, Laura came in and added her words to his. Nikolas begged Lucky to forgive him and, eventually, Lucky did. He was still afraid that he would inadvertently hurt his family, so he wanted them to stay away from him. Laura and Nikolas promised him that the love they all had for each other was stronger than Helena's hatred, and they were convinced they could beat her. Jax had a hard time believing that Stavros Cassadine had returned from the grave, but Gia ultimately managed to convince him that she was telling the truth. He called Alexis to warn her that Stavros was on the loose, but she didn't answer the phone. When he tried to leave the station, Taggert threw him in a jail cell and reminded him that he was being held as a conspirator to a crime. Gia distracted the guard and stole his keys, but when she unlocked Jax from the cell, Taggert stopped them from fleeing.
