Recap:Luke was determined to drill down into the basement to see what Helena had hidden there. Melissa and Roy tried to dissuade him because he didn't have the proper equipment and it was very late in the evening. Luke agreed to take a rest and he fell asleep in a chair. Recap:Luke was determined to drill down into the basement to see what Helena had hidden there. Melissa and Roy tried to dissuade him because he didn't have the proper equipment and it was very late in the evening. Luke agreed to take a rest and he fell asleep in a chair. He dreamt of Laura leading him to a hole that already existed in the floor and he jumped through it to find himself in the maze. He came upon a coffin and was shocked to see that he was inside of it. Yelling that he refused to be defeated, he turned to see a strange man holding a crimson rose. As he chased the man, he called out for Lucky and Lulu. Luke turned a corner and came face to face with Stavros. Though he tried to run after him, Stavros disappeared and he heard Laura's voice and saw her holding out her hands to him. He reached for her just as he woke up. In Los Angeles, Scott and Laura put together their photo album and Laura thanked him again for making the day so special. He kissed her goodnight and left before he lost his self-control. Laura slept and dreamt of making a movie with Scott with Luke acting as director. In the dream, she was professing her love to Scott, but Luke thought the scene wasn't genuine so he took Scott's place. Laura said the lines to Luke and then asked him why he had left her. Luke told her that he had never stopped loving her and they danced happily. Just as she turned to kiss him, Luke disappeared and Stavros was there in his place. He reminded Laura that she was his life and was meant to be with him. Laura screamed for Luke and woke up to see a crimson rose on the table. Felicia had a fantasy dream where she cracked the code of the Cassadine disks and managed to de-program Lucky. When she told Luke everything she had done, he declared his love for her and told her he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. As they kissed on the docks, a crimson rose floated in the water beyond them and Luke decided to retrieve it for Felicia. She begged him not to leave, but he disappeared into the water. Melissa had the beginnings of a sweet dream in which she and Roy were back in Chicago at a bar called Rosie's. Roy played her a song on the piano, then took her in his arms and told her that she meant everything to him. Before their lips could meet in a kiss, she noticed crimson roses on the piano. When she turned to ask Roy about them, he had become Stavros and she couldn't get away from him. Roy also dreamt of being with Melissa, only in his dream, she was being dragged away by Stavros, who held a crimson rose. Melissa cried for Roy to save her, but Stavros dragged her into the elevator. Roy banged on the door when he heard Melissa scream. When the door opened, Melissa lay at the bottom of the elevator shaft with blood coming from her mouth. Roy shouted in horror and woke up in a panic. A tortured Stefan drank from a bottle of vodka and took out a picture of Chloe that he placed on his nightstand. He fell into a deep dream where he and Alexis were children playing with a boat his father had given him. A young Stavros came into the picture and demanded that Stefan give him the boat. When Stefan refused, Stavros smashed it into pieces. He told Stefan that he would never have anything that Stavros wanted. The dream changed and he and Alexis were adults. She told him that the only way to defeat Stavros was to let him go. Chloe was also in the dream and she told Stefan that she loved him and she was the one thing that his brother couldn't have. As he moved to make love to her, the dream changed again and he was watching his brother make love to Chloe. Stefan woke to see a vase of crimson roses on the floor. After talking to Nikolas about Helena and his father, Gia had a dream in which Helena had bound Nikolas's hands and refused to let him go. Using a magical diamond ring, Gia forced Helena to release Nikolas. He pledged his love to her and thanked her for saving his life. As they kissed, they were interrupted by a man holding a crimson rose in his hand. Gia tried to make him go away with the ring, but he wouldn't leave. Instead, he took Nikolas away from her. Nikolas was also caught in the grips of a nightmare. He dreamt that Gia and Laura were trying to save him from Helena's clutches, but the Cassadine grip was too strong. Helena, dressed as a queen, sat at the head of a table and told Nikolas to take his rightful place beside her. Gia begged Nikolas to look in the mirror and see who he truly was. When he looked, he saw his father staring back at him, holding a crimson rose. Nikolas woke up in a cold sweat and wrapped himself around Gia. Helena found Stavros on the roof of GH clutching a crimson rose in his hand. He told his mother that even though she was really to blame for him losing his son and his wife, she had properly atoned for her sins. However, his days of waiting for her plan to take affect were over. Stavros had decided to get what he wanted no matter who he had to destroy in the process. He let the rose fall from his hand and he laughed devilishly as he walked away.
