Recap: Laura was overwhelmed by how thoroughly Scott had planned their Hollywood vacation. He rented a soundstage so that they could make their own movie and even had costumers on hand to outfit them. They had a hilarious time as they re-enacted scenes from a Charlie Chaplin film, Cleopatra, Gone With the Wind, and Casablanca. Scott ended their day by taking Laura to a fantastic hotel suite. Once there, he told her that he loved her and was ready to move forward toward a future with her. Luke decked Nikolas at the PC Grille much to everyone's shock. Luke yelled that Nikolas was Cassadine poison and had been working with his family all along to betray Lucky. Initially, Nikolas balked at Luke's words, but something in Luke's face alerted him and he changed his attitude. He played along with Luke's scheme and said that he hadn't sided with the Cassadines, but he certainly had no further intention of being a Spencer. Helena was encouraged by his words and asked if he was considering returning to the family. Nikolas said that he wasn't, but he allowed her to see his hesitation. On the terrace, Lucky confronted his father about constantly berating Nikolas. Luke warned him that Nikolas wasn't as loyal as Lucky believed, but Lucky would hear none of it. He told Luke that either he accepted Nikolas in his life or he stepped aside. When Luke refused to welcome Nikolas, Lucky walked away. Stavros, who had listened to the entire conversation between Luke and Nikolas, approached Luke from behind with a garrote in hand. While investigating things in the basement, Melissa came across men delivering strange boxes to GH in Helena's name. She told Roy about the shipment and wouldn't allow him to look into without her. When they went back downstairs, the boxes had disappeared though Roy saw traces of something large having been dragged across the floor. They took the freight elevator to try and find the boxes, but it stopped between floors. While they waited to see if it would move again, they reminisced about being stuck on an elevator together in Chicago. Just as things heated up between them, the elevator started moving again, but it started to go down instead of up. They looked at each other in shock, wondering what could be below the basement. Angel slipped in the mud while checking on one of the trees outside. Sonny helped her back inside and cleaned her up. There was a strange intimacy and attraction between them that surprised them both, but they didn't act on the feelings. After waking from a nightmare where she couldn't feel her legs, Emily asked Zander if something was really wrong with her. She started to panic just as Alan and Monica came in. Not wanting to lie to her, they told her that there was a danger that she was paralyzed from the waist down. As Emily grew increasingly upset, Zander sat beside her and forced her to think of happier times. He reminded her of prom night when they danced in the lamplight. Emily smiled at the thought and her leg jumped. Everyone watched the movement with joyous astonishment.
