Recap: Lucky took Roy to the cabin where he had finally come to terms with Luke's rape of Laura. He thought that maybe Luke would have gone there since it was a place that represented safety to both of them. Though they found signs that Luke might have been there, he wasn't around when they searched. A feeling of unease about Laura sent Lucky racing back to her house with Roy at his side. Laura saw Stavros in the mirror, but when she turned around, he had disappeared. A series of strange noises caused her to get a baseball bat to investigate outside. Fortunately, it was just Scott, who wanted to call the police since he thought she was afraid of an intruder. She told him that the police couldn't help and neither could he. Scott grew frustrated at her seeming inability to trust him, but Laura told him that it had nothing to do with trust. She simply couldn't involve him at this point. Scott backed off, but told her to call him if she needed anything. Alone again, Laura heard more noises and the lights suddenly went off. Unbeknownst to her, Stavros lurked in back of her and reached out to her. She screamed, and Lucky and Roy came in before Stavros totally revealed himself. While Roy searched the property, Laura confided in Lucky that the monster was back. They were all stunned when Roy didn't find a person, but he did find the Cassadine medallion. Laura took one look at it and said it belonged to Stavros. Jax warned Angel to beware of Sonny, but Angel reminded him that she was perfectly capable of taking care of herself. She didn't want to get in the middle of Jax and Sonny's feud, and she suggested that Jax work out his problems with Sonny without involving her. He told her that the only reason he said anything at all was because he cared about her. To that end, he told her that he was spending the night at the lake house to make sure she was safe. A sultry Angel had no objection to him staying. Helena continued to berate Nikolas for his choice in girlfriends and told him that she had a hard time believing that he was "hard" enough to manage the Cassadine estate. A frustrated Nikolas told his grandmother that he would break up with Liz if it would please her. Surprised that he would agree so easily, Helena said that she had something more in mind. Nikolas threatened her with legal action if she didn't turn over the Cassadine estate to him immediately. Helena warned him not to threaten her and told him that she would let him know what his final test would be. Gia and Liz argued over Liz's casual attitude about Nikolas' welfare. Gia didn't think her rival was acting much like the love-stricken girlfriend she claimed to be. Liz suggested that Gia butt out of Nikolas' affairs, but Gia wouldn't be put off. When she ran into Nikolas in the hotel, she slyly told him that she had left Liz flirting with a bartender. Nikolas' lack of concern prompted Gia's suspicions even further. Carly was thrilled to see Sonny at her house, but he dashed her romantic hopes by telling her that he had only come to read Michael a story and give him a present. When Carly started talking about reuniting their family, Sonny halted her words by handing her divorce papers. Carly was stunned that he was serious about ending their marriage. He reminded her that she had ended their marriage by lying to him and putting him in an untenable situation. Carly begged him to listen to his heart, which she suspected was still full of love for her. Sonny said he couldn't afford to be ruled by his heart. He told her that he would have Alexis pick up the papers once Carly had signed them. When he left, Carly tore the divorce papers apart.
