Recap:Stefan and Laura were horrified to realize that Stavros was alive because Helena had her son cryogenically frozen and subsequently restored. Stefan's anger grew when he realized that the DNA found on Chloe's body was Stavros' and not his. He blamed Stavros for Chloe's murder and told Laura that it wasn't safe for her or Lesley Lu to remain in Port Charles. Laura was determined to stay and protect her family. She refused to let Stavros terrorize her the way he had twenty years ago. Stefan desperately tried to think of a way that he could get out of jail immediately so that he could get rid of Stavros. He and Laura decided that out of everyone, Nikolas was probably the safest, so they would focus their concern on the rest of the Spencer clan. Laura promised Stefan that she would keep quiet about Stavros, and she ran home to check on Lucky and Lulu. Lucky received a call from a disoriented Luke. Lucky was relieved to hear that his father was alive, but confused by Luke's message. Luke told Lucky to find Roy and tell him that he had to hustle, and that they were running out of time. Before Lucky could find out where Luke was, his father hung up. Lucky asked a visiting Scott to stay with Lulu while he went to find Roy. When Laura returned, she was grateful to see Scott since she was in serious need of comfort. Kristina and Ned argued about her presence in his home. Though he had initially said she could stay with him, he began to doubt the wisdom of that decision. He wondered if Jax was handing him a mess of trouble, and he didn't want to get involved in any of his friend's shenanigans. Affronted, Kristina said she would leave and stay at a hotel. As they bantered back and forth, Ned realized that he was being rude, and he apologized to Kristina. He asked her if she would do him the honor of staying with him, and she agreed. At the hospital, Mac interrupted Roy and Melissa's personal discussion to grill them about the Sorel murder case. This time, his questions were for Roy since Roy's fingerprints had been found on the picture of Michael by Sorel's bed. Trying to protect him, Melissa said that Roy had nothing to do with Sorel, and he must have found the picture by accident. Alan and Monica came in and demanded that Mac stop turning the hospital into an extension of the PCPD. Melissa was surprised when Monica said that she had been in the ICU, as had any number of people. Mac received a tip that a janitor had seen a nurse outside of Sorel's room. While they waited for the janitor, Lucky arrived and took Roy aside to tell him about the conversation with Luke. Roy reluctantly left Melissa in order to follow the lead with Lucky. Meanwhile, Bobbie happened by and asked what was going on. Everyone was shocked when the janitor identified Bobbie as the nurse he had seen outside of Sorel's room. Nikolas burst into Elizabeth's studio in a dither after his conversation with Helena. He told Liz that his grandmother had decided upon his final test, and once he passed, she promised to tell him the secret of Lucky's brainwashing. Liz said that whatever the test was, Nikolas had to go through with it no matter what. Her jaw dropped when Nikolas declared that his final test was to kill her. Helena believed that if Nikolas could kill Liz, he was truly worthy of the Cassadine title. Stoically, Liz said that if Nikolas had to kill her, then so be it. She amended her statement by saying that she was certain there was a way to make it appear as though Nikolas had killed her. Though it didn't sit well with him, Nikolas promised to find a way to do it. Meanwhile, Gia had overheard Helena's edict to Nikolas, and the horror of it sent her running to the docks for breathing room. Lucien/Stavros found her there and convinced her to tell him what was wrong. When she spilled out her story, she concluded it by telling him that she had to tell the police in case Nikolas actually did it. Stavros reminded her that she hadn't actually heard Nikolas say he would do it, and he played on her feelings for Nikolas to get her to put her police confession on hold. Though she didn't go to the police, Gia did go to Liz and told her rival that they needed to talk immediately.
