Recap:Alan and Monica delivered the good news to Alexis that Zander was going to be fine. Alexis was more concerned about Zander's proximity to Sorel's room. As an unseen Angel hovered in the background, Monica assured Alexis that Sorel wouldn't be a problem because he wasn't even expected to regain consciousness. Alan let down his guard enough to commend Zander on his bravery in trying to rescue Carly and Alexis. Zander expressed his gratitude for Alan and Monica saving his life. He was also extremely glad that Emily wasn't around to witness any of the fracas. Alan echoed that sentiment and wished Zander a speedy recovery. At the Penthouse, Carly was crushed when instead of welcoming her back, Sonny told her that he wanted her to move into the Brownstone. She insisted that her place as his wife was by his side, but Sonny said she had forfeited those rights when she betrayed him. Fed up, Carly stalked away, but ended up collapsing in Sonny's arms just as Bobbie and Roy had come upstairs to retrieve her. They rushed her to the hospital and once Carly regained consciousness, she asked for Sonny. After finding out that she would be okay, Sonny left without seeing her. Laura packed for her trip and confirmed her travel plans via phone with Lesley. She heard a series of loud noises in the house and hesitantly went into the hallway. Thinking it might be Luke, she called for him. No one answered, but a shadowy figure approached her and she screamed. To her relief, it turned out to be Nikolas. He was being careful in case Helena had someone following his movements so he had entered the house through the cellar. He told Laura about his painful break up with Gia at Helena's demand. His mother was heartbroken that he had to give up so much to save Lucky, but Nikolas was determined to keep his brother safe at all costs. He asked Laura if she would consider taking Gia on the Deception trip to keep her safe from the Cassadines and to ease her pain over his betrayal. Unfortunately, Laura had already scheduled Gia for several photo shoots in Port Charles, but she did tell Nikolas that she believed he would be able to work things out with Gia once the Cassadine feud ended. Meanwhile, Gia confided in Stavros/Lucien about her relationship with Nikolas. Stavros was the soul of kindness as he asserted that she was a beautiful and dynamic young woman who would soon have her pick of men. He questioned her about Nikolas's sincerity in breaking up with her and wondered if it wasn't a scheme against his family. Gia pondered that, but she ultimately believed that Nikolas was incapable of such a deception. As they spoke, Nikolas approached them from behind. Gia whispered that he was coming and Stavros took his leave. When Nikolas questioned her about the stranger she was talking to, she informed him that he had no right to care what she did. Her anger was exacerbated when Helena strolled up hurling her usual insults and Nikolas stood up for his grandmother against Gia. When Gia left in a huff, Nikolas told Helena that he had done his part and now he wanted back in the family. Helena gifted him with the Cassadine yacht and told him his fortune would be reinstated next. Laura crept into Scott's house to kiss him goodbye before her trip. He wanted her to stay and make love with him, but she thought it was a bad idea to do that on the cusp of her leaving town. She promised that she would keep in touch and admitted that she would greatly miss him. Back at Laura's house, Stavros had stolen inside and placed a red rose on Laura's pillow along with a sexy negligee. Alexis was extremely relieved to see Sonny alive and well at the hospital. She warned him that their friendship couldn't continue as long as he strapped bombs to his body. Sonny assured her that it was a one-time deal. The duo visited Zander who apologized for acting impulsively. Sonny praised Zander's good intentions and Zander in turn praised Carly. As Sonny prepared to leave, he looked in on Sorel and was stunned to see Angel sitting by his enemy's bedside.
