Recap: Stefan surprised himself by going to confession to try and redeem his soul. Unfortunately, on the other side of the confessional booth, there was no priest — there was only Stavros. Stefan wasn't aware that his brother was his confessor as he poured out his feelings of regret over his life. When the 'priest' used phrases that sounded like Stavros, Stefan bolted. Before he could leave the chapel, Helena stopped him. She had followed him there to demand that he stop Jax from ruining the Cassadine estate. Stefan shocked her by outlining his plan to divide the estate among several charities and give them to Laura to run. When he left, Stavros emerged from the booth. Though startled to see him, Helena quickly recovered and ordered her eldest son to get rid of his younger brother finally and immediately. Alexis visited Chloe in the hospital and brought her pie to cheer her up. Chloe felt much better and even told Alexis that she didn't blame Stefan for her accident. She only wanted to hurry and heal so that she could move back to Milan and start designing again. Alexis listened as Chloe examined her feelings for both Jax and Stefan, and ultimately Chloe decided that neither man was worthy of her. As Alexis prepared to leave, Stefan came in and asked Chloe if she would hear him out one last time. Jax reassured an anxious Kristina that she would be able to meet Alexis soon, but the timing still wasn't right. In the midst of Kristina's tirade about being restless and impatient, Helena knocked on the door. Kristina listened from the terrace as Helena more or less threatened to kill Alexis and Jax if Jax didn't leave the Cassadine estate alone. When Helena left, Kristina said she finally understood what Jax meant about her situation being unsafe. Still, Jax decided that it was finally time to talk to Alexis about Kristina, and he sought her out at the hospital. A.J. demanded that Mac and Taggert arrest Carly for murdering Sorel. He told them that he had overheard Carly at the hospital talking about how she needed to stop Sorel from hurting Sonny. He had also seen Carly outside of Sorel's room. Mac asked if he wasn't just trying to slander his ex-wife so that his custody chances improved, but A.J. insisted that he was worried about Michael's safety in being with an unstable mother. Taggert turned the tables by reminding A.J. that he had equal motive for wanting Sorel dead. A.J. admitted to hating Sorel, but said he didn't kill him. Carly stalled for time when Michael repeatedly asked to see "Uncle Sonny." She took Letitia upstairs to get settled, and while she was gone, Michael called Sonny on his own and asked him to come over. Sonny arrived and showered Michael with love and affection. He took the time to teach Michael to ride his tricycle, but warned Carly not to keep using Michael to get to him. Carly insisted that she didn't even know he was coming over, and Sonny accused her of lying as usual. He had to back down when they both witnessed Michael calling Mike all by himself. Though Carly took Sonny's presence as a good sign, he dashed her hopes by telling her that he was filing for divorce.
