Recap: Stefan and Jax faced off over Chloe, and both insisted that the other wasn't good for her. Alexis interrupted their fight, and Stefan left to find Chloe. Alexis tried to tell Jax that she believed her brother had changed and truly did love Chloe, but Jax felt that there wasn't enough change in the world to make Stefan worthy of her. Jax also confided that he had realized while searching for Brenda that the love he had for Chloe wasn't as strong as it should have been, and he wanted more for her than half a heart. Alexis told Jax how much she had missed him, and the two recemented their bond. At his Penthouse, Jax fingered Alexis' necklace and then called out for someone named Kristina. A confused and hurt Chloe took comfort with "Lucien," who told her that neither Jax nor Stefan deserved her. She asked him if he would ever leave the woman he loved, and he intently replied that not even death would keep him away from someone he loved. Chloe agreed with him and said that she wanted someone to care for her like that. Stavros suggested that the next time she saw Stefan, she should tell him that he wasn't good enough for her. He claimed to have researched Stefan's past and said that measuring up to his family -- particularly his brother, Stavros -- had always been an obsession with Stefan. When Stefan arrived, Stavros melted into the shadows to watch what happened. Stefan begged Chloe for another chance to prove his love to her, and Chloe coldly told him that he wasn't good enough to be with her. Crushed, Stefan allowed her to walk away. Needing to make sure that Sorel wasn't a threat to her and Michael, Carly went to the hospital to see him and instead ran into Melissa. Melissa warned Carly of Sorel's intent to kill Michael and showed her the pictures that Sorel's man had of his targets. Panicked, Carly called Letitia in Martinique to alert her to the latest threat. Mike came into the ER with an injured hand and tried to calm Carly down as A.J. watched from the shadows. Though Carly told Mike that she would leave, her fears got the best of her, and she ran back toward Sorel's room. Zander stood over Sorel's bed and started to tie a knot in Sorel's respirator tube. Alan and Sonny arrived in time to pull Zander away, even though Zander begged them to let him kill their enemy. Sonny gave Zander a much-needed lesson on restraint. He told Zander to never dirty his own hands and to think before he acted. He promised the vengeful teen that the threat Sorel caused would soon cease to exist. After delivering his own warning of vengeance to Sorel, Alan installed an alarm on Zander's bed to make sure that he didn't make another attempt on Sorel's life. Alone, Zander disarmed the alarm and made his way across the hall. Melissa neutralized Sorel's injured man by sedating him before he could get word to Sorel that he had failed in his mission. She then went to Sorel's room and trembled with rage as she reminded him of the way her brother had died. She turned off his respirator and told him that the injuries he'd caused her brother had basically caused him to suffocate in his own body. She felt that Sorel deserved nothing less than to die the same way. Monica came in and demanded that Melissa leave. Rather than help Sorel, Monica coldly informed him that she intended to make sure he never hurt her daughter or anyone else again. Melissa went into the bathroom, splashed cold water on her face, then pulled on surgical gloves as she headed out. Roy and Angel traded stories of their encounters with Sorel, and Angel admitted that while she had once loved her father, his latest actions were unforgivable. She told Roy that Sorel wouldn't stop until he had killed everyone that he believed had wronged him. Roy gave Angel his condolences for her loss, and Angel assured him that she had long ago put her husband Donny to rest. Roy corrected her and said that he was sorry for the loss of her father. Then he told her that he had something to take care of and left her. Angel pulled off the pearl necklace that her father had given her and threw it to the ground. At the hospital, Roy took a pair of surgical gloves from the closet and headed for Sorel's room. As Sonny left the hospital, he passed one of his men and gave him a nod. The man went into a hospital storage room, changed into medical scrubs, and went to Sorel's room. Outside of Sorel's room, his police guard nodded off to sleep after a nurse came in to make sure that Sorel was OK. Finally sleeping peacefully, Sorel lay motionless in his bed. He woke up when his room door opened and his eyes widened in fear as a shadowy figure loomed over him.
