Recap:Port Charles was rocked as news of the explosion at the Towers was broadcast around town. In Alexis's Penthouse, Alexis, Taggert, Zander and Carly lay unconscious on the floor. Recap:Port Charles was rocked as news of the explosion at the Towers was broadcast around town. In Alexis's Penthouse, Alexis, Taggert, Zander and Carly lay unconscious on the floor. Across the hall, Sonny and Sorel were seemingly buried beneath debris. Taggert was the first to wake up and he valiantly tried to rouse the others, but he eventually collapsed in pain. A.J. and Skye were in the midst of arguing about the best way to retrieve Michael from Sonny and Carly when Alan came in with the news about the explosion. While A.J. made calls to get more information, Alan confessed to Skye that he was worried about Emily hearing about the explosion and worrying about Zander. Skye was startled by her father's vulnerability when he said that he felt that life as it related to the family was moving out of his control. Skye did her best to reassure him that everyone was fine and that he was doing the best he could. Later, Skye and A.J. continued their scheming against Sonny and Carly, even going so far as to imagine both of them dead and therefore, unable to protest the custody case. Nikolas and Gia raced to the Penthouse to make sure that Alexis was unhurt. Ned, Liz, and Lucky arrived for the same reason. Lucky offered to help his brother find Alexis and wanted to give a show of support. He was crushed when Nikolas coldly rejected his offer and told Lucky that he wasn't a part of his family. An irate Liz demanded an explanation for Nikolas's behavior and accused him of lying about loving Lucky. Nikolas asserted that she would never know how much he loved his brother, but he didn't have time to give her details on what was going on. Gia worried about Taggert's safety when she heard that he was inside of the building. Carly eventually woke up and her first thought was of Sonny. She checked on Zander and tried to revive Alexis, but had no success. She practically crawled across the hall and searched for Sonny to no avail. Bobbie and Roy arrived on the scene and ran into Melissa who told them that she couldn't get into the building to try and help. Roy led them through a back staircase and they first found a traumatized Carly. She begged them to help her find Sonny, but Bobbie advised her to let Sonny go. Carly screamed that she loved Sonny and wouldn't leave without finding him. Mike attempted to get information on Sonny's welfare, but no one would tell him anything. When Mike saw Angel, he berated her for being there since he didn't feel it was appropriate. Angel countered that she had every right to be there because she had saved Sonny's life once and she wanted to make sure he was still alive. Melissa and Bobbie patched up Zander's gunshot wound as best they could and tended to a conscious Alexis. The paramedics were finally able to get through and they wheeled Zander, Taggert, and Sorel out of the building. Ned expressed his relief over Alexis's safety, but her main concern was for Sonny. Ned convinced her to let him take her to the hospital and since she didn't want to leave Zander, she agreed. As Carly looked around, she discovered a hand sticking out of the rubble. She uncovered Sorel and demanded that he tell her where Sonny was. Sorel told her he didn't know what had happened to Sonny, but he begged her to help him. Enraged that he was alive while Sonny was missing, Carly started to strangle him. Bobbie and Roy pulled her off of him and tried to calm her down. Carly heard Sonny's watch alarm go off and Roy helped her dig through the mess to get to him.
