Recap:Luke woke up in Laura's bedroom after Stavros cudgeled him on the back of the head. He called Felicia over to help him search for clues. He knew that one of Helena's men had attacked him from behind, but he hoped that they would have left some trail behind. They found footprints on the floor that had bits of gravel and tar embedded in them. Luke speculated that the gravel and tar probably came from Helena's lab. He raced to the hospital roof where he found a secret elevator. Alexis cornered Nikolas at the Cottage and was surprised to hear that not only had he broken up with Gia, but he was serious about returning to the Cassadines. She told him that she was there to support and protect him, but she didn't agree with his decision. Stefan came in and echoed her sentiment and Nikolas blew up at them both. He accused them of constantly poisoning his mind against his grandmother and demanded that they leave. Alexis warned him that whatever scheme he was pulling, it could backfire if he took it too far. Skye entered the Quartermaine mansion just as Ned told the family that he would call Emily to get proof of Skye's perfidy. Skye stopped him and covered by saying that Emily shouldn't be disturbed. She eventually did admit that she wanted Emily gone, but only because she was jealous of how beloved Emily was. She said that she would never have done anything to hurt her little sister. Alan, Edward, and A.J. berated Ned for trying to railroad Skye, but Ned maintained that he would make them see the truth. To that end, Ned went to the hospital while Alan was visiting Zander and he bluffed that Skye had told them about helping Emily leave town. Zander confirmed the story, including the letter that Emily had written to the family. Zander said that they believed Skye was only trying to help and they didn't blame her for the accident. Alan said he understood as his eyes met Ned's. A.J. thanked Skye for helping him with Michael and told her that he was happy she had joined the family. Skye didn't believe in his sincerity until A.J. tore up Emily's letter. With tears in her eyes, Skye thanked him for making her a real member of the family. At the Deception press conference, Lucky and Liz waited with the press for Gia's arrival. When Gia walked in full of attitude and false bravado, Liz realized that Nikolas must have gone through with his plan. They watched as Gia informed the press about her break-up with Nikolas and how leaving him was the best thing she could ever have done. Afterwards, she ran out to the terrace and collapsed in tears. Lucky found her and took her in his arms to comfort her. He told her that Nikolas wasn't worth her tears and that she was better off without him. Gia wanted to return the bracelet that Nikolas gave her because she wanted no further ties to the prince. Liz spied them and slipped away to the cottage. Once there, she soothed Nikolas by reminding him that his sacrifice would pay off once Lucky was safe. She also promised that she and Lucky would look after Gia. As she hugged him, Gia walked into the cottage.
