Recap:Laura played along with Nikolas's scheme to outwit Helena. As Helena lurked in the shadows, Nikolas accused Laura of loving Lucky more than she did him. He reminded her that she had abandoned him as a child and told her that she probably hated him for being Stavros's son. Laura tried to assure him of his place in her life, but Nikolas said he would be better off with the Cassadines. He made Laura leave and Helena came out of the woods to talk to him. She praised him for finally realizing the truth about his mother and Nikolas pretended to be torn between the two of them. Helena told him that she had always hoped Laura would become a proper mate for Stavros, but she believed that it took a special woman to love a Cassadine. As she said that, Gia returned from yoga and demanded that Helena leave. Nikolas sent her back into the cottage and promised they would speak later. Helena told Nikolas that if he planned to return to the family, he had to give up Gia. Luke speculated to Felicia that Tony knew more than he was saying about what was going on with Helena. In order to lure Tony into a trap, he called him and pretended to be Helena's henchman. He told Tony to meet Helena on the yacht. Meanwhile, Tony was finishing his examination of Stavros. He gave Stavros a clean bill of health, but was annoyed by Stavros's questions about Laura. When Tony refused to answer him, Stavros reminded him that something bad could happen to Lucas if Tony didn't continue to cooperate. On Helena's yacht, Tony called out to Helena and found Luke instead. Luke pointed a gun at Tony and demanded to hear the truth. Stavros broke into Laura's house and rifled through her things. He found a letter she had written to Luke while on the island in Greece and it enraged him to read of Laura's love for another man. Laura arrived at the house and was preparing to go inside when Scott showed up. They spoke on the porch since Laura told Scott she really needed some time alone. She confessed that she was worried about Nikolas and had been reminded a lot of the past lately. Scott wanted to stick around and cheer her up, but she gently asked that he let her have an evening to herself. Once inside, Laura found the photo album and a picture of her and Stavros fell out. Shaken, Laura ran out to the porch and called for Scott, but he had already left. Her terror increased when she found a red rose on the porch with her wedding ring from Stavros inside the petals. As she stood in the doorway, Stavros loomed behind her from the stairs. Carly was terrified when she picked up the phone and Sonny called out to her. He asked her if Sorel was in the Penthouse and told her to say yes or no. Carly said no and told him that she didn't want him coming around to see her. She hung up the phone and lied to Sorel that it had been Bobbie on the phone. Sorel bought her story until Carly remained adamant that Sonny wasn't going to show up. He realized that Sonny had been on the phone and Carly admitted that she had told Sonny to stay away. She would rather die than see Sorel hurt him. Outside of the Penthouse, Zander heard Sorel threatening Carly's life. He crept around to the side doors and managed to sneak in. Unfortunately, the closing door alerted Sorel and he whirled to see Zander there. Zander tried to get control of Sorel, but Sorel shot him in the chest. A tied up Alexis couldn't get to Zander so Carly threw herself in front of the teen. She begged Sorel to take her and leave Zander and Alexis alone. Mike burst into Sonny's office and was happy to see his son there. He told Sonny that his men had informed him that Sorel was holding Carly hostage. Sonny pretended not to believe him and told him he didn't care what happened to Carly. Telling Mike to stay away from him and to especially stay away from Carly, Sonny left. Mike later went to the lakehouse after leaving a message for Alexis to call the police. He banged on the lakehouse door and yelled for Sonny to come out. Sorel pointed the gun at Carly and told her that he was going to see to it that she paid for everything she had said to him. Before he could pull the trigger, a voice called out to him. He turned and saw a calm and collected Sonny standing in the doorway. Sonny casually asked Sorel what he wanted to see him for.
