Preview: Carly tries to win Sonny's forgiveness.
Recap: Sonny opened the Penthouse door to find Carly on the other side. Though he initially tried to make her leave, she insisted that he hear her out. She apologized profusely for betraying him, but told him that everything she had done was out of love. She begged him to understand and try to forgive her. Sonny reminded her of his past with his parents and how that set a life course that he had never been able to steer away from. He couldn't forgive her because he saw her as a constant reminder of her lies and betrayal. Carly took him in her arms to show him that their love was too powerful for him to dismiss. She asked him to make love to her and waited for his response. While at Kelly's with Gia and Liz, Nikolas thought of a way that he could help Lucky. He told the girls to stay put, but Gia was terrified that he was putting himself in a dangerous situation. He promised her that he would return and that he would be fine. Gia railed at Liz for not stopping him and Liz reminded her that Nikolas and Lucky were best friends as well as brothers. There was no way Liz could have stopped him. Calming down, Gia confessed that she knew about Lucky's programming and asked if they could talk about it. Liz filled her in on what she knew of the Cassadine's history with the Spencers, but neither of them could figure out what Helena wanted Lucky to do. Rather than sit around guessing, Gia suggested that they leave and take action. Determined to do something to help Lucky, Laura went to Helena's yacht and found Luke there with Felicia. Though she questioned why Felicia was there, her main concern was finding Lucky. Luke's plan was to murder Helena or at least threaten to in order to get their son back. Felicia was shocked when Laura agreed that it was a sound plan. Fortunately, Luke backed down and said he had to figure out what to do on his own. Felicia asked Laura why she was still so involved with Luke when she was supposedly over him. Laura reminded her that she and Luke were parents and their son was in trouble. She suggested that Felicia stop blaming her because things weren't working out with Luke the way she wanted them to. Bobbie found Scott lurking outside of Laura's house. He told her that Laura was with Luke and admitted that it was driving him crazy. Though Bobbie didn't believe that a past love necessarily equaled an enduring love, she encouraged Scott to fight for Laura. To that end, he went to the Cassadine yacht in search of her and found an embittered Felicia instead. She told him that Luke and Laura were together somewhere and it looked as though they would stay that way. Nikolas barged into Luke's office and offered himself as an exchange for Lucky. He wanted Luke to kidnap him and use him to get Lucky back from Helena. Though Luke balked at the plan at first, the more Nikolas explained, the more he agreed that it made sense. Laura came in and overheard their scheme and put a halt to it. As much as she appreciated Nikolas's offer, she refused to trade one son for another. Luke went so far as to thank Nikolas for trying to help and Nikolas said he would do whatever it took to get his brother back.
