Summary: Preview: Jax brings the mysterious Kristina to town.
Recap: Chloe fell and hit her head after trying to pull away from Stefan during an argument. Jax had witnessed the accident and didn't want Stefan to go near Chloe. He and Ned called the paramedics and kept a fretful Stefan at bay. After an examination at GH, Tony told them all thatPreview: Jax brings the mysterious Kristina to town.
Recap: Chloe fell and hit her head after trying to pull away from Stefan during an argument. Jax had witnessed the accident and didn't want Stefan to go near Chloe. He and Ned called the paramedics and kept a fretful Stefan at bay. After an examination at GH, Tony told them all that Chloe had suffered a mild concussion, but because of her accident from last year, they wanted to keep her overnight for observation. Ned was the first to see Chloe, and he managed to make her laugh. When Jax came in, she thanked him for his concern and reiterated her plan to leave town. She didn't blame Stefan for the fall, but she said it was just another reason for her to get away. Stefan slipped in when everyone had gone and whispered an apology to a sleeping Chloe. He told her how much he loved her and revealed how sorry he was for continuously causing her pain. Sonny berated Carly for using her old manipulative ways to try and get Angel in trouble. Carly maintained -- against Mike's advice -- that Angel was bad news and that she was trying to do Sonny harm. In separate questioning, both Sonny and Angel denied any romantic element in their relationship, though in her interrogation, Carly insisted that Angel was in love with Sonny. Mac received the fingerprint matches off the picture of Michael that was found in Sorel's room. He told Taggert that the murderer's motive might have stemmed from the bond between parent and child. He and Taggert listened as Sonny and Carly conversed in the interrogation room. Sonny knew they were there and tried to stifle her words, but Carly yelled that she would do anything to protect her family and told Sonny that he had no idea how far she would go. After smashing a tart on Helena's suit to stall her from going to her room, Gia completed her plan by thanking Helena for the change in Lucky. Helena feigned ignorance, and Gia declared that Lucky was clearly under some strange influence that had allowed him to forget about Elizabeth. Gia claimed to be grateful because now she and Lucky were together instead. Helena mused that Gia seemed to have recovered from her affair with Nikolas rather quickly. Unable to stall Helena any longer, Gia called Liz to warn her that her cover was about to be blown. Meanwhile, Liz was caught red-handed by Stavros, who demanded to know why she was in Helena's room. Liz hemmed and hawed and finally asked Stavros who he was and why he was there. He claimed to be a business associate of Helena's and said he was expected. Liz told him that when she and Nikolas were there the other day, she lost a ring that he had given her. Stavros helped her look for it, and Liz conveniently 'found' it after slipping it out of her purse. When Helena showed up, she tried to repeat her lie, but Stavros saved her by reminding her that Nikolas was waiting. Later, Liz and Gia met to discuss their plot to break into Helena's room again. Gia was worried about having left Lucky alone for such a long time. Unbeknownst to her, he had previously gone out on the window ledge and contemplated jumping, but when she and Liz entered the room, he was asleep on the bed. Liz convinced Gia to let her stay with Lucky because she needed to spend some time helping him remember his love for her. Helena was more concerned with Jax's threat to her than she was with Liz and Gia. She had figured out a way to get rid of Stefan and Jax at the same time. She told Stavros that when he destroyed Stefan, he was to make it seem as though Jax was to blame. Back in his hotel room, Jax called out to Kristina, a young woman who was very happy to see him. She told him that she was tired of being kept under lock and key and that she wanted out. He insisted that it wasn't safe for her yet, though he understood her impatience. She stared at the copy of Alexis' necklace and said she was ready to face whatever came next.
