Recap: Sonny and Jax nearly came to blows during Chloe's memorial service as Sonny berated Jax for not protecting his woman. Carly tried to step in to tell Sonny about Angel's connection to Jax, but Sonny brushed her off. After seeing Angel smirk at her, Carly went into Sorel's memorial room to confront her rival. Taggert and Mac secretly listened as the women exchanged barbs. Their attention was piqued when Angel told Carly that she saw what she did the night that Sorel was murdered. Unfortunately for the cops, nothing more was said than that. Still, Taggert questioned Carly, who didn't have a plausible alibi for the night of the murder. In response, Carly pointed the finger at Angel, suggesting that Angel was trying to frame her in order to steal Sonny. Carly was stunned to learn that someone else had witnessed her at General Hospital on the fateful night. When A.J. later taunted her about soon getting custody of Michael, Carly realized that he was the witness, and she burst into Chloe's memorial to confront him. Meanwhile, Angel went to Sonny's office to tell him about Carly's threat and presumably to warn him about her relationship with Jax. Before she could tell him anything, Taggert arrived with questions for Angel. Nikolas and Elizabeth turned up at Chloe's memorial, but were distracted by thoughts of the lost Ice Princess. Gia arrived, and mistaking their closeness for intimacy, she accused them of inappropriate behavior. Later, Gia saw a tearful Nikolas on the docks and expressed her surprise at his show of emotion. Alexis posted bail for Stefan and was stunned when he announced his intention to attend Chloe's memorial service. She advised him against such a move, and he asked her if she believed that he killed Chloe. Choosing her words carefully, Alexis declared that she thought someone had deliberately murdered Chloe, and she didn't feel that her brother would have deliberately hurt anyone. Grateful for her loyalty, Stefan asked her to accompany him to the funeral home. Once there, the duo interrupted a Quartermaine family prayer when they entered the room. Everyone ordered Stefan out, though he felt that he had every right to be there. He eventually left, but Alexis stayed to say goodbye to her best friend. Both Jax and Ned offered her a shoulder to cry on, but Alexis rejected them in favor of going after Stefan, who had left to confront Helena. Lucky attempted to warn Laura that Stavros was still alive by referring to him as the monster. Laura didn't understand what he meant, but she promised him that she would keep him safe. Lucky told her that she was the one who didn't understand because the monster was after her. He left before Laura could figure out what he meant. In his lab, Stavros prepared to reunite with Laura. He took a bottle of wine to her office and was going inside when he heard her talking to Scott. He listened on the other side of the door as Scott declared his love for Laura. Angry, Stavros waited for them to leave, then he left the wine bottle on Laura's desk along with a note. He found Scott's business card and fingered it thoughtfully. Lucky broke into the Cassadine lab and found the vial of biotoxin. When one of Helena's men came in, Lucky held up the vial and warned the man to leave. Lucky planted the vial in Stavros' wine chamber so that it would be broken when a bottle of wine was picked up.
