Recap:Alan walked into an AA meeting just as Skye was confessing her recent misdeeds with Emily. Tears ran down her face as she admitted to not only hurting someone who cared about her, but ruining her chance at having a real life. Recap:Alan walked into an AA meeting just as Skye was confessing her recent misdeeds with Emily. Tears ran down her face as she admitted to not only hurting someone who cared about her, but ruining her chance at having a real life. She said that she had been tempted to drink her cares away, but realized that would only hurt her more. Alan piped up and said that he too had been messing up his life lately. He joined the group and reported his own failures as Skye listened in surprise. After the meeting, Alan and Skye sat down and apologized to each other. They pledged anew to try and be a better father/daughter team. Roy sat by Sorel's bedside and waited for the stricken mobster to wake up. Sorel tried to play the tough guy, but Roy reminded him that he was helpless in a hospital bed. Sorel called for help and Melissa came running in. Roy was miffed that she was treating Sorel and Melissa demanded to know the reason for his anger. He led her away from Sorel and promised to tell her everything. Gia, Lucky, and Liz listened in shock as Nikolas admitted to wanting to steal Liz from Lucky. He claimed that even though he cared about Gia, Liz was the love of his life. Liz immediately jumped in and told Lucky that it didn't matter what Nikolas wanted because she would never be with him. Gia didn't feel that Liz was the innocent and injured party as she believed that Liz was pleased to have two brothers fighting over her. Liz was stunned when Lucky declared that she and Nikolas should be together since Nikolas could better protect her from the Cassadines. She tried to get through to him, but he was late for his meeting with Helena and he left her with Nikolas. Liz and Nikolas followed him to GH, but lost his trail eventually. They did find the picture of Luke that Lucky had been holding. Gia headed to the police station and asked her brother to arrest Nikolas for causing her emotional distress. Taggert expressed his sympathy and offered his support, but told her that Nikolas hadn't committed a legal crime. To help herself get over the prince, Gia left a message for Lucien Cane, aka Stavros, and told him that she needed a friend after all. Carly flipped out when she and Sonny were separately hauled into the station for questioning. Dara wasn't looking to prosecute, she was simply trying to get a statement from Carly. Carly refused to talk until they let her husband go. When Sonny saw Carly in the interrogation room, he demanded that the police let her go home because she had been through enough emotional distress. Taggert accused Sonny of trying to murder Sorel and was prepared to arrest him. Carly ran out and told them all that she had wanted to kill Sorel after he hit her. In fact, before Alexis and Zander showed up, she had tried to kill Sorel twice. Once after he threw her to the ground and said he would make her his. Carly yelled that if they were going to arrest Sonny, they had better arrest her as well. Dara made Taggert see that they had no real case and had to let Sonny go. Sonny left without reacting at all to Carly, but he immediately went to the hospital. He got rid of Sorel's police guard and closed the blinds in the room. Sorel opened his eyes to find Sonny looming over him. Luke couldn't believe that the man standing in front of him was really Stavros Cassadine returned from the dead. He laughed and said that Helena had hired a great actor, but he wasn't buying the act. Stavros ended his laughter when he recounted the events on the night that Luke "killed" him. When he repeated things that only Luke and Laura knew, Luke realized that he was the real deal. Stavros and Luke were ready to kill each other as they argued about who had been the better man for Laura. When Stavros made a sexual comment about Laura, Luke hit him and held a knife to his throat. With genuine panic in her eyes, Helena offered him anything to make him let Stavros go. Luke pronounced that it was an instance of checkmate and he had won. Just then, Lucky came in and the distraction allowed Stavros to get the upper hand. Luke yelled for Lucky to run, but Helena's programming stopped him. She handed Lucky a syringe full of biotoxin and commanded him to remove the king to protect his queen.
