Recap:A.J. was horrified when he received a mock newspaper sporting a headline that he had died in a fiery car crash. He immediately accused Skye of creating the paper to spite him, but she was completely innocent. When she pointed out that the paper further stated that A.J.'s dying wish had been for Carly and Sonny to raise Michael, they realized the paper was a message from Sonny. Skye told A.J. she had a plan to get Michael back, but before she could unveil it, Ned walked in. Believing that he and A.J. were still working together, he asked for information on Skye. A.J. suggested that they back off Skye for a while which made Ned realize that A.J. had switched sides. When Ned left, Skye tore up A.J.'s court papers and told him that the way to get Michael was to lull Carly into a false sense of security. A.J. mulled that over for a minute before deciding to do things his own way. Zander procrastinated on telling Emily about her solo trip to a rehab clinic. Alan and Monica demanded that he tell her or they would. When Zander eventually confessed the plan, Emily cried in denial. She blamed the whole thing on her family and believed they had made Zander turn against her. Zander assured her that he was only thinking of her safety. Emily asked if he was dumping her because she was a cripple and Zander broke down in tears. He told her how much he loved her and how much she had changed his life. He was determined to honor her by doing one unselfish thing. He and Emily cried in each other's arms as the reality of the situation set in. Carly attempted to get to Sorel's humanity by asking him about his wife. She was surprised when he tearfully told her about his wife's death and how it changed everything for his family. He said that once his wife was gone his children turned against him until all he had left was the business. The galling thing for him was that he wasn't as good at it as Sonny, but he believed that Sonny's death would change all that. Carly overplayed her hand by telling him how sorry she was and he noticed that she was holding her hand funny. He forced her to reveal the paperweight she was hiding. Carly quickly recovered by telling Sorel she believed he had killed Sonny after all. Her pain and tears were so real that Sorel started to believe that maybe Sonny was dead. He decided he had no more use for her and planned to leave when a knock sounded on the door. A.J. called to her from the other side. Alexis ran into Mike at Kelly's and asked him if he could tell her where Sonny was. She promised not to tell anyone, especially Carly. Mike wondered why she needed to know so badly and Alexis simply implored him to tell her the truth. Sonny stunned Angel by telling her that he had changed his mind about going with her to Greece. He had been thinking about her behavior when they saw the newscast about Sorel and he felt that something more was going on with her. He wondered if she was secretly working with Sorel to trap him. Angel angrily admitted that she did know Sorel intimately because he had killed her husband. She told him that her husband had gotten in the way of Sorel's business and Sorel had him killed. She didn't want that to happen to Sonny and that was why she wanted him to leave with her so that he would be protected. Sonny believed her, especially when she wrapped her arms around him. He pulled away to look down at her and their mouths moved closer together until they were almost in a kiss.
