Recap: Sonny stopped Carly from spilling her guts when he realized that Mac and Taggert were listening from the other room. Carly caught on and told Sonny that as much as Sorel deserved to die, she didn't kill him. She asked Sonny if he had, and he smiled and said no. Recap: Sonny stopped Carly from spilling her guts when he realized that Mac and Taggert were listening from the other room. Carly caught on and told Sonny that as much as Sorel deserved to die, she didn't kill him. She asked Sonny if he had, and he smiled and said no. Mac and Taggert were dismayed when they realized that the duo had caught on to their presence. Sonny got Carly to drop the charges against Angel when she was forced to admit that she could have been mistaken about Angel's role in the kidnapping. Since there were no formal charges, everyone was free to go. Sonny told Carly to stay away from Angel and said that he had only saved her because of Michael. Roy paced outside of Melissa's apartment as he tried to find a legitimate reason for being there. She heard him and came out as he talked to himself. He wanted to go inside, but suddenly he heard a man's voice. Melissa reassured him that she wasn't on a date, that the man inside was Bruno, her mechanic. She was helping him nurse a broken heart. When Bruno came out and offered Melissa protection from Roy, Roy countered by saying that he was Melissa's boyfriend. Melissa was both thrilled and amused by Roy's claim, and the two started to get amorous when they were interrupted by Melissa's neighbor, who needed help. Roy left her alone, but not before he kissed her goodbye. Gia reluctantly left Liz alone with Lucky, after berating her rival for stealing both Nikolas and Lucky's hearts. She ran into Nikolas on the PC Grille terrace and told him about her run-in with Helena. Nikolas warned her that playing with Helena could be potentially lethal. Gia didn't believe that he cared what happened to her, and she told him about Liz and Lucky being together. She also accused Nikolas of having had Helena erase Lucky's memories of Liz so that he could have her for himself. He denied her accusations, but Gia ran away from him anyway. Filled with sorrow, Nikolas went to the docks and played a mournful song on his saxophone. Lucky woke up to find Liz sitting by his side. He told her to leave and reminded her that they were finished. She refused to leave and started to jar his memories of loving her. Lucky had a brief moment of clarity, but it frightened him, and he asked her to leave again. She was adamant that she would never leave him or stop loving him, and she eventually broke through his cold resolve. She told him that just as he had helped her through the ordeal of being raped, she would help him deal with everything Helena was doing to him. He finally relented and said that she could stay with him. As she slept, Lucky drew closer to her and sat by the bed. Liz opened her eyes to find that Lucky had taken her hand.
