Recap: Stefan returned to Wyndemere and casually went through his mail. Upon entering the living room, he noticed a strange lump in the drapes. He pulled them back and found a lifeless Chloe. Recap: Stefan returned to Wyndemere and casually went through his mail. Upon entering the living room, he noticed a strange lump in the drapes. He pulled them back and found a lifeless Chloe. Though he called 911 and attempted resuscitation, she was already gone. Stavros lurked in the background and prepared to come forward when he heard voices in the hallway, so he disappeared. Jax and Alexis, who had come to rescue Chloe, were stunned when they saw Stefan lying next to her on the floor. Jax accused Stefan of murdering Chloe, while Alexis collapsed in tears at her friend's side. When Mac and the other police officers arrived, he wanted everyone to come down to the station. Stefan insisted that he hadn't killed Chloe, but Jax was just as adamant that he had. Alexis could barely speak through her pain, but she advised her brother to keep silent. In the boxcar, Liz tried to get through to Lucky by using the Ice Princess, but she didn't know how to use it the way that Helena did. Not knowing what else to do, Liz kissed him and asked if he felt anything. Lucky declared that he had felt a brief spark, but he still had no memory of being in love with her. Deciding to stop Helena once and for all, Lucky took the diamond from her and raced to the docks. Liz followed him just in time to see him hurl the Ice Princess into the river. He didn't feel any different once the diamond was gone, but they were both relieved that Helena no longer had the means to control him. Helena's henchmen found them and demanded that they hand the diamond over. Lucky told him where it was and asked the man to tell Helena that her reign of mental terror was over. Helena imagined the scenario of Stefan and Stavros finally coming face to face. She delighted in the notion of Stavros ridding the world of Stefan. When Stavros came in, she wanted all of the details of the murder and wanted to make sure that it would implicate Jax. She was thoroughly displeased to hear what Stavros had done, as she felt that it left too much to chance. Her displeasure increased when Stavros received a message from Elton saying that Laura had returned to town. Kristina was surprised by a visit from Angel, who had come to distract Kristina from her boredom. Kristina revealed her nervousness about meeting Alexis, and Angel tried to reassure her that Alexis would like her. Kristina was tired of waiting for Jax to deliver Alexis and decided to use a disguise to get out of the hotel. She went to Luke's dressed in a man's hat and overcoat and sat at the bar. Ned had been discussing business with a potential music client, and he came back to find Kristina in his seat. With her back to him, he thought she was a man and demanded that she vacate. She whirled to face him and removed her hat to display her long mane of fiery red hair. Roy and Melissa stalled Mac as he continued to question Melissa about her involvement in Sorel's murder. Mac turned the tables and accused Roy of being a possible suspect as well. He told Roy that the fibers they had found on Sorel's alarm matched the fibers of Roy's shirt. Mac was called away, but told Melissa that he had obtained a warrant to have her apartment searched. A nervous Melissa told Roy that she was keeping something about Sorel from him. Roy didn't want to know what the secret was because he was afraid it would incriminate her. They rushed to her apartment and found Taggert going through her things. He found a pulse simulator that was exactly like the one that had killed Sorel and wondered why she had it.
