Meanwhile, Bobbie was in Chicago trying to find Melissa's testimony against Roy. Using subtle flattery and charm, Bobbie convinced the clerk to let her look through the files for the testimony. She finally found it and read a portion where Melissa stated that Roy had lied to her that he loved her in order to get to her brother. Helena tried to convince Alexis to stand with her against Stefan. Though Alexis agreed that Stefan's actions were reprehensible, she told Helena that under no circumstances would she ever side with Helena because of how dangerous and murderous Helena was. Alexis's calm demeanor deserted her when she found the note from Zander saying he skipped town. Suspecting that Zander ran to Emily, Ned wanted to call Monica and Alan. Alexis asked him not to do that until she had a little more time to work the situation out. Emily was caught by the headmistress as she was headed out of the window. The headmistress advised Emily that if her parents took her out of St. Catherine's, it would probably be for someplace worse. A bummed Emily accepted her fate and was lying on her bed when Zander knocked at the window. Ecstatic to see him, she flew into his arms. Stefan interrupted Gia and Nikolas who were on the verge of kissing. When Stefan started berating Nikolas for being with a woman beneath his station in life, Gia accused him of being a racist. She left them alone but listened as Stefan forcefully reminded Nikolas that as crown prince, he could ill afford to spend time with a woman he could never marry. He also brought up Nikolas's disastrous relationship with Katherine Bell as an example of how Nikolas didn't make wise romantic decisions. Having slipped into Sonny's hospital room undetected, Sorel was ready to smother Sonny with a pillow when Carly walked in. She freaked out and started beating Sorel with her purse, then threatened him with a chair to make him leave. She was incredulous when Sonny didn't want to call the police, but Sonny explained to her that he didn't think Sorel was working on his own.
