Mario jumps 30 years in time, and it's one of the biggest jumps ever made, not only in the Super Mario franchise, but in the history of Nintendo. Odyssey is evolution, talent and a non-stop enjoyment. A game that marks a new hit in the platforms game genre and that justifies going to the shop to buy a Nintendo Switch.- 3DJuegos

Breath of the Wild writes a new chapter in the videogames industry. Nintendo jumps to the open world scenario with passion to renew all the things we know about Zelda. It's a new dawn for the franchise, but also a work of heart, recovering the basis of the series from NES. The world of Hyrule is just a dream come true, and the game is unforgettable. CryTek demonstrates again its hegemony in first person shooters and it does it with a new gem. A brief campaign but charged with a shining pace is its main attractive, and in this occasion the multiplayer section has become one of its main highlights too. A new demonstration of the unquestionable health of the action in the 21st century. Lust From Beyond is a game that uses sex and nudity that take place on screen as a claim. Unfortunately, his proposal is completely inconsistent in the rest of its sections, being even disgusting in many of its segments. It is very difficult for me to be able to save the game elsewhere, and I honestly believe that if you have plans to get hold of it for the pretext of having an erotic adventure in your catalog, I am sure that you will find better options. As a puzzle game it can convince the less demanding, however, the rest of its mechanics do not achieve what they set out to do. A title to avoid. [Not recommended]- 3DJuegos

Total War: Rome Remastered is an interesting update of the 2004 classic. However, the improvements in the graphics can end up knowing little in some aspects such as animations and lighting effects on the battlefield. F1 2021 is a show from start to finish. The enormous number of game modes already available, added to the incorporation this year of the career mode for two players, its versatility when it comes to offering an experience for all types of users and the good game that comes out of the DualSense in the version of PS5 are its strongest points. The Braking Point story mode is a very interesting addition when it comes to offering different challenges, but it lacks some punch in narrative terms, I hope they do not abandon it and improve this facet for next year. However, we are facing a very solid team that takes great advantage of the new generation of consoles. Make you feel like a real F1 driver. Very complete, addictive and tremendously entertaining. Alfred Hitchcock - Vertigo is a good reimagining of the 1958 celluloid classic. Packed with script twists and turns and creating a completely new story on the basis of the original, it can be blamed for at times extending longer than it should by discovering thus its weak points in the plot. Playable is scarce, it could well have the same plot and dialogues taken to the cinema or television and the result would have been the same. Artistically, it hits the ground running because of the modeling of the characters' faces and highly improvable facial animations. A narrative adventure that can please those looking only for a good plot that comes completely dubbed into Spanish.- 3DJuegos

One could say New World is basic. And it definitely has some weird design choices scattered around progression, economy and world. There’s the graphics card issue too. And yet, something as simple as existing in Aeternum is fun and amazing: loved the aesthetics, the sounds, the animations, the combat, the progression. An experience too appealing to ignore.- 3DJuegos

Elden Ring: Nightreign is a much needed medium-sized experiment set in Hidetaka Miyazaki's iconic fantasy world. It does a pretty decent job at mixing together and shaking up a sizable collection of enemies, weapons, weapon arts, magicks and consumables. While I do appreciate the return of Zelda's "dungeon based" formula, it's unfair to say that Dungeons of Hinterberg is just a "Zelda-like". Mixing up those elements with an equipment based progression, a calendar system and a social aspect (akin to Persona's), the game's focus is not only its dungeons, but also its plot and characters. Hinterberg wants us to think about tourism, the way it affects people's lives and changes their livelihoods. Even if flawed, I can appreciate its refrexing take on its influences and the message it conveys.- 3DJuegos

GameExcite not only shows its love for Star Trek: Voyager with this game, but also its respect for it, offering an outstanding survival and exploration experience, just like the hardships the crew had to endure during its seven-year journey home. It's not a perfect game; there are elements of its interface and mechanics that could be improved, and it can make you want to tear your hair out at times, but the feeling you'll have when you finish it will be just as emotional, if not more so, than what the ship's crew felt when they returned to Earth. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is one of the best games of the year. That's something we all might have thought before we even played it, but it shouldn't belong to the group of deserving high marks, it should be in the select group of outstanding ones. Miles and Peter give us a hilarious adventure, full of necessary messages about asking for help when needed, and technically it is a delight for the senses. And it shows us that Insomniac is one of the fittest studios on the planet, and it's been that way for many years now. There will probably be bigger titans in 2023 when it comes to video games, but Marvel's Spider-Man deserves a place right after them. [Recommended]- 3DJuegos

The Medium manages to unite in a single game four elements that are not easy to find well integrated in a single title: it maintains a good narrative tension, telling a difficult story in an affordable way, and its soundtrack perfectly complements this narrative. Its aesthetic proposal gives a unique framework and, at the same time, complements the story. Finally, it properly integrates its playable mechanics within the product. It is a risky work, which invites, like the rest of the Bloober Team games, that each one has their own interpretation of what happens on screen.[Recommended]- 3DJuegos

Death Stranding: Director's Cut changes some of the foundations of the original game. Its new additions soften many of its exploration and combat mechanics, something that some players may be grateful for, but that will create some division within the community. Its extended plot is limited to a small detail that can change the player's perception of some characters, although it is not vital to understand its plot. All in all, it is a version that takes full advantage of the technology of PS5 and expands its content with a good number of activities such as Fragile races, practice in shooting ranges or the missions of Half-Life or Cyberpunk 2077 Whether you choose this version or the 2019 version, Death Stranding is and will be an unforgettable title. Paradise Lost is an interesting narrative adventure that captures the player's attention through familiar elements such as text and audio notes. However, his story is too reminiscent of others already seen if he has some baggage in the genre. The design of its scenarios and its artistic section stand out, its weakest point being the modeling and animations of human beings, although we rarely see them during the game. MXGP 2021 is an interesting hybrid that combines arcade driving with simulation within a complex sport to reproduce at the controls under the same proposal. However, its physics system is capable of the best and the worst at the same time, with a number of game modes that are stuck in the past. MXGP 2021 needs to take real-time terrain variations more seriously, improve its career mode and make Playground a really attractive offering if it wants to take a step forward as a franchise.- 3DJuegos

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 has in its favor the shortage of titles with similar characteristics on the market. Its accessibility and adaptability to any player is, by far, its greatest success. However, the progress that the saga showed with its predecessor in 2019 has been cut off, we are facing a less ambitious delivery than one might expect. The truth is that, without being completely upset, I expected a lot more from it, having left me somewhat indifferent. There are better alternatives in the genre, even within its own saga.- 3DJuegos

Loop Hero is one of those surprises that the independent calendar reserves for us every year. An addictive title from start to finish, the combination of strategy with cards is tremendously rewarding both in terms of evolution and discovery of new classes of characters as well as buildings in our camp that add new layers of depth with each turn. Despite its simple appearance, behind Loop Hero is an original proposal that does not neglect its narrative section which is gaining in intensity and interest as we progress through the game. The only downside is that it takes a good number of hours to begin to appreciate all that it has to offer, however, the work of Four Quarters exudes great care and care in each and every one of its sections. Hitman 3 is the closing to a trilogy that has accompanied us for the last five years that risks little in its standard version. Some new gadgets such as the camera or the implementation of situations against the clock try to give a breath of fresh air to a delivery that cannot be removed from the seal of continuity. However, everything that has accompanied Agent 47 during these years is still there and lovers of the saga will appreciate it. Obviously the graphic update of previous games and the incorporation of VR mode on PlayStation is something that cannot be looked the other way. However, I would have appreciated a greater effort in narrative terms in this ending, perhaps the weakest point of the saga in these editions. All in all, this is a good game that offers the user a huge amount of hours if what you want is to get the most out of each of its well-worked scenarios. [Recommended]- 3DJuegos

Maquette is a good puzzle game that does not get rid of some inconsistencies, its control and the design of some of its puzzles have room for improvement, as well as the integration of its narrative with the playable mechanics. However, he knows how to keep his puzzles fresh faithful to his idea of perspective management until the end of the adventure, managing to evoke emotions in the player through the artistic and sound section of him. I have really enjoyed the 3-4 hours that the title lasts, being a very pleasant experience which, despite its possible shortcomings, I have to recommend to those who like the puzzle genre and the more purely narrative adventures.- 3DJuegos

Sadly, it also brings with it its biggest flaws, pacing is still a problem, with sections that can become tedious due to imprecise handling and some glitches. The Crew Motorfest is the best The Crew to date: fun races, a beautiful map, a good selection of vehicles and a fresh gameplay, with perfect handling for an arcade game.- 3DJuegos

A great example about how to create a great port of console's game for PC. Spider-Man Miles Morales is funny and very spectacular, but it could be more awesome with some innovation and fresh ideas.- 3DJuegos

I liked Deathloop, the hours that I have been with him have been entertaining and in no case has it been repetitive despite having to visit some situations with certain recurrence. However, Arkane has been very conservative in a proposal that I think could have given the player a little more freedom. Well cohesive in its mechanics, it is one point below the rest of the studio's games in the last decade in terms of level design, but it is enough to continue to be above the majority. He fails to be outstanding in almost anything he does, including the invasion mode with Julianna, but still a good title worth enjoying. [Recommended]- 3DJuegos

Dying Light 2, as released, has too many technical, design and narrative issues to be fully enjoyable. The game seems hell bent on not letting you enjoy the best it has to offer.- 3DJuegos

An interesting deconstruction of Lovecraftian horror that nails the atmosphere, but is ultimately held back by repetitive levels and technical bugs.- 3DJuegos

Rematch is very fun, especially with friends. Its major problems are outside the matches: the lack of crossplay, server issues, a certain feeling of F2P mobile games... being a premium game, etc.- 3DJuegos

A flashy hack'n slash attempt that it's fun to play… but only during the first minutes. It's just too simple and monotonous.- 3DJuegos

Phantom Liberty is a dark, complex storyline that makes you question your decisions at every step. With some of Cyberpunk 2077's most engaging missions & content, it is undoubtedly the return of CDPR to their best.- 3DJuegos

The next big thing in the beat em up. Delicious in his playability and fresh in his visuals. Needs more charisma for his characters, but his lack of great heroes and villains it's served with his fighting mechanics. Maybe the biggest step in the XXI century for the genre. [Recommended]- 3DJuegos

NBA 2K is still the best basketball simulator on the market... But it has no competition either. There are improvements and additions, as every year, but it seems that every time it has to feed more modes and experiences, but does not give enough to have to prioritize what counts with micropayments. It's a good (even great) game when you're on track, but everything else is still several notches below.- 3DJuegos

Bravely Default is a special JRPG. Its first hours are amazings because it feels like the classics Final Fantasy, but after that, the game starts a boring loop that ruins the experience. It's still being a recommended RPG because the art style and, specially, its turn based combat are great, but you need to open your mind and accept its faults. [Recommended]- 3DJuegos

eFootball 2024 is a ray of light after the storm: the gameplay is better and it feels like Konami has found the right path to walk. But there aren’t more good news: recycled menus, lack of licenses, lack of variety in game modes… It’s a game that, once again, seems to be half done.- 3DJuegos

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 doesn’t take risks — and it doesn’t have to. It sticks to the winning formula of the previous remake and takes it further with new levels, skaters, fan-favorite nods, and cool additions like New Game+. It’s pure arcade fun. [Recommended]- 3DJuegos

Dune: Spice Wars leaves early access without many relevant changes beyond its campaign mode. The style of play and the political base are maintained, and although it is enough to get you hooked and enjoy the game, at the same time its lack of new features weigths too much.- 3DJuegos
