Starfield is an epic work of science fiction wonder and is a true Bethesda RPG at its heart. The world is expansive, and the main story and all the side-quests are brilliantly crafted. The game looks amazing, has an incredible score, and will genuinely wow you with the galaxy's vastness you can explore. If you’ve ever looked to the stars and wondered ‘what if’… this is a game you must play. It isn’t just for Bethesda fans.

Starfield is the most potent value proposition for Game Pass, being the killer app for the subscription service. It is also the best, most ambitious game in the Xbox Game Studios library to date. It would not be a stretch to say this could be one of the most ambitious games ever made, and that it followed through with many of those goals with relatively low compromise.

Starfield is, overall, a very good RPG from a studio known for making very good RPGs. Not the most surprising news I’m sure, but it’s nice to see that they’re able to break away from the Elder Scrolls and Fallout settings successfully, and I do feel like their take on space exploration is a breath of fresh air for this type of RPG experience. It’s a huge game overall, so if you’re the person that believes time played = value, you’ll be pretty happy with this one for sure, but at the same time if you’re worried about overall quality, I think you’ll still enjoy your time with Starfield. I look forward to playing a lot more of it over the next couple of months, attempting to see everything the game has to offer. So in short, check it out, it’s pretty darn good.

Starfield is an instant classic and a triumphant homecoming to blockbuster gaming for Bethesda Game Studios.

Starfield is a magical, if a little clumsy, first journey to the stars for Bethesda, the RPG maker reminding us of the power of player freedom, engaging writing, and just a little jank.

Starfield is a technically solid systems-heavy role-playing game that works well with a surprising degree of polish compared to previous Bethesda RPGs. Despite this, Starfield has no sense of character and the story lacks impact.

If you’re the kind of person who thinks videogames peaked with Fallout 3's launch version and they’ve required neither evolution nor improvement since, this game is absolutely for you. If you believe Bethesda doesn’t need to exhibit growth as an artistic outlet and hasn’t had to change a thing about the way it’s made games since 2008, I can safely say you’ll adore Starfield because it’s all that a Bethesda game has always been... and literally nothing more...Starfield is a shallow ocean, hiding its lack of creative ambition behind the physical size of a universe that’s minuscule where it counts...In short, it's everything a fan of these games could love.

BGS took their already excellent formula and improved upon multiple aspects of it, and had a very smooth launch to boot. Inflated my score a bit to counteract all the butthurt Sony Ponies review bombing. Haven’t finished the game yet but I’d say this game is at least a 9-9.5 out of 10. Maybe higher but at least a 9. Starting off I thought it was just a 7-8.

After playing more, the game opened up into something special. The worlds, strike that, the whole galaxy is full of surprises and small things that turn a good game into masterful game that can be played for a long time. The random encounters with insurance salesmen, the Breaking bad and Batman references (including a kinda fake bat cave) Halo Reach, Aliens, nerdy collector...

I haven't even started ship building, or much outpost building. I liken it to the best vacation you might have had...
Not the best room ever, but good.
Not all the meals were the best, but some stood out.
Some attractions might have been not what you expected, or lived up to, some did.

BUT you might have had the best vacation ever, filled with so much fun!

This game might be worth a 10 to me later, as it stands... a 9 with a possible :)

Bethesda Has A Major Problem With There Game Engine, the Creation Engine, Anyone Who Has Played Starfield Will See That Major Problem With theBethesda Has A Major Problem With There Game Engine, the Creation Engine, Anyone Who Has Played Starfield Will See That Major Problem With the Game Engine, Creation Engine Is Outdated By At Least 10 Years, Because the Creation Engine Is An Iteneration Of A Game Engine That Is 25 Years Old and the Only Reason Why Bethesda Uses This Game Engine Is Because It Has Mod Support, So Bethesda At the Expense Of Using A Buggy, Glitchy, Outdated, Missing Basic Game Engine Tech Of 2023, They Would Rather Cater To the Mod Scene To Fix the Game Instead Of Making A Brand New 2023 Game Engine ESPECIALLY FOR ELDER SCROLLS VI, OR FALLOUT 5, OR STARFIELD 2, With Starfield In Particular, Thare Are Lots and Lots Of Loading Screens and the Reason Is Obviously Because the Creation Engine Is Using Source Code From An Iteneration From A Game Engine Thats 25 Years Old, It Was Like the Most Basic Of Basic Building Blocks 25 Years Ago When Making A Game Is To Have Loading Screens, The Reason Why Starfield Has No Seamless Transitioning, Which Is the Ability To Fly From Space To the Surface Of A Planet WITHOUT CUT SCENES Is Because The Creation Engine Was Never Programmed To Deal With Flight In General, The Reason Why Starfield Has No Atmospheric Flight, Which Is the Ability To Fly In the Atmosphere Of the Planet, WITHOUT CUT SCENES Is Once Again the Creation Engine Was Never Properly Programmed With Flight Mechanics In the First Place!!! To Me This Is So Obviously To Know If You Think About It and To Know What Has Been Reported Of the Game Engine By the Press, I Have Been Calling On Bethesda To Create A Brand New Game Engine For the Last 10 Years Because I Could See the Mess Of the Engine Really Since Morrowind, Back In 2003 On the Original Xbox.....To Me, For the Fact That Bethesda Is Using This Game Engine Should Be An Embarrassment!!!! It Is the Game Engine That Is the First Building Block That Is the Determination Of How Great A Game Will Be Produced In A Great Game To Be Developed By the Game Engine!!! The Story I Have Gathered ONLY LASTS ON AVERAGE 20 HOURS, IM SORRY BUT AFTER 7 YEARS OF PRODUCTION AND YOU CAN ONLY MANAGE TO MAKE A STORY LAST FOR 20 HOURS IS EMBARRASSING WHOLLFULLY MISMANAGEMENT!!!! The Story Should Have Lasted At Least 100 Hours!!! I Never Understood In Game Development How You Can Create A Location and Yet That Location Would Not Be Part Of the Story,??? The Locations In A Game World Has To Be Made For the Story In Of Itself Not For the Sake Of Just To Be Made!!!! Why In the World Did Starfield Get Produced With 1000 Planets When Those 1000 Planets Do Not Have Any Purpose To Explore Them For There Is No Quests On Them To Do, I Would Have Rather Had Lets Say 200 Planets Handcrafted To Make As Part Of A Cohesive Story Not 1000 Planets With Nothing To Do On Them!!!! Menos mal que no pagé por el 100€
