REANIMAL is a big step up from the Little Nightmares games in terms of story and world-building. This feels more mature, more epic, and, at times, much more terrifying.

Tarsier Studios has managed to outdo itself. REANIMAL reaffirms the studio's pedigree, with an intense story that is supported by a heart-stopping setting and accompanied by gameplay that offers us the best of the genre. Just when you think you've seen it all, something new appears that will surprise you.

Reanimal has delivered what Little Nightmares III could not. Tarsier Studios has shed the constraints imposed by the Little Nightmares universe, subjecting its audience to an emotional bombardment while simultaneously pushing them out of their comfort zone.

Reanimal is an audiovisual masterpiece and in many ways more interesting than its twin game, Little Nightmares 3, but it doesn't quite reach the level of a classic status like the opening part of Little Nightmares.

Even if the gameplay is mechanically uncomplicated, there’s no shortage in Reanimal of visual allure, albeit of the kind that makes you wince or at least provokes a morbid chuckle. ‘Did I really just see that?’, you think more than once.

Two children journey through a twisted nightmare world to rescue their missing friends. Reanimal blends eerie atmosphere, cooperative puzzles, and disturbing creatures into a tense horror adventure that surpasses Little Nightmares.

The mechanics of Reanimal are slightly plodding and airless, with not much by way of creativity or challenge, but the spectacles are often impressive.
