The last great human settlement exists within an unforgiving, infected world, plunged into a modern dark age. During the day, bandits, factions and starving survivors roam the streets scavenging for scraps - or someone to take them from, by violence if necessary. At night the infected roam free, evacuating their dark hideouts to prey on the living. You are Aiden Caldwell, an infected survivor. Your exceptional agility and brutal combat skills make you a powerful ally and a valuable commodity in this dangerous world. You can achieve things no one else can. Enter places no one else dares. With your unique abilities you have the power to be an agent of change within this decaying metropolis.

    YOUR CHOICES, YOUR WORLD
You must make tough decisions and hard sacrifices as you decide the fate of a society on the brink of collapse. The effect of the choices you make will have a huge impact on entire regions of the city, uncovering new land masses and areas to explore. Play the entire campaign in up to four-player co-op. Host your own games or join other players' and see how their choices have played out differently to your own.

    EXCEPTIONAL AGILITY AND BRUTAL COMBAT
On your journey from humble beginnings to a person of great power, you have unprecedented freedom of movement across the city, seamlessly integrated with brutal first person combat.

    A MODERN DARK AGE
In a desperate city, where resources and power are scarce, unstable, and trust in ruling bodies is all but eroded; humankind has reverted to a dark age. Civilization is gone but the relics are still there. This is a violent, primal & unforgiving world - and so are its inhabitants.

    THE INFECTION HAS EVOLVED
The infection has evolved and become more sensitive to UV light. Society exists in the relative safety of sunlight, while the infected hide in the shadows of buildings. At night the infected roam the streets freely searching for prey, presenting opportunities for you to explore areas of the city inaccessible by day.

My final thoughts on my overall experience with Dying Light 2: Stay Human remains positive. Seeing some coverage come out and be turned off by the bugs and issues that were pre-release was expected, but disappointing since I had faith that Techland would stay true to the fans and make sure the experience is covered top to bottom with prime support for the players and community. I commend the entire development team including Lead Designer Tymon Smektala for being engaged with the community leading to the release and listening to what they all have to say. It shows in the final release and look forward to spending even more hours in Villedor for years to come.

Dying Light 2 is a bigger and bolder sequel that improves upon the original in every way. Not only does it have one of the most enjoyable traversal systems in any game ever, but it also provides players with interesting characters and quests to break up all the running.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human isn't a revolution as the first game, but it is a solid entry with hours and hours of content, although probably not as long as 500 hours. It has everything it needs to become a game that fans are going to love.

With a significantly improved movement system, an engrossing, branching narrative, and an open world that's consistently engaging, Dying Light 2 was well worth the extended wait.

It's been a long time coming, but finally the Dying Light sequel is here. The parkour is refined, the combat is great and the city is lively enough to keep you entertained for a long time. There is also plenty to do in the game, but at the same time it is mainly more of the same without really big innovative steps forward. The first few hours are also disappointing and the visual modes do not offer a best of both worlds standard. A fine sequel, but perhaps a victim of too high expectations.

As with the original game, Dying Light 2 Stay Human will find its share of audience, while the teams at Techland will continue to expand their vision. The solid base is already there, and it would be interesting to see how the game will turn out in 5 years time.

If you’ve played a zombie game in the past decade, this mishmash of tattered post-apocalyptic stereotypes will feel all too familiar.

Tried to analyze from different aspects but turned out to be a long boring complaint. If you are afraid of the negative reviews, feel free to wait longer, Dying Light is known for it's long-term updates, so hopefully this one will be better during the years.

    Complaint list:
    1) Performance. The game can maintain 60fps under performance mode most of the time, there are some frame drops, but not frequency, but only AT THE FIRST SECTION. When you are navigating in the second one, you will encounter frame drops every few minutes. Personally, the performance is at the point that barely standable but not enjoyable. Note that we are talking about running on a next gen console and the graphic looks blurred and can be ugly sometimes.

    2) Gameplay. There are many improvements to the first game, parkour + combat works so good that just running around aimlessly can be a lot of fun. My complaints are for the human enemies, it's okay to make enemies good at defence, but in a fast-paced encounter, it's nothing but frustrating when you are surrounded by 5 guys and you can't hit anyone because they are all blocking and side stepping, while there are another 2 guys shooting arrows at you and climbing around when you try to get close.

    3) Multiplayer. Not much to say, it's basically the same as the first game. All the players have to gathered every time you need to talk to an quest NPC, nothing wrong with the system, but there are too many "talk to someone next me" moments in the main quest, so I'm sure the main quest is not optimized for multiplayer.

    4) Story. Not as bad as people say, yet has many to complain. The story in general is not bad, definitely not something great, but still quite an entertainment if you just watch to see what happens and not think too much. The biggest problem is that it's too obviously trying to make you feel "pain". It's a good idea to build emotional connection between the player and the characters, but when you know EVERY DAMN TIME a character revealed to you and obviously the game want you to care, the character will die immediately afterwards, without exception. You just won't care. Then the choices, they don't have any positive feedbacks, like I mentioned before, they just too obviously trying to "hurt" you. It's not "choose what you like to be", more like "choose to be an a**hole or try to be something else but turn out to be an a**hole anyway". That's not how to make a meaningful and satisfying story. Honestly I find the side quests are way more interesting than the main story.

Support answer after 8 days with template answer: “We can’t restore your save, we recommend to quit game by pause menu to avoid corrupt the saves.”

The plot of the game is pretty silly. Biggest part of main missions boring. Fight with boses, especially revenants, made easy and boring, no attack patterns, no challenge, final boss = worst boss in single player games, I ever seen. 20 minutes of fight with enemy, that have two attack types. NPC Textures have load delays and often I have grey models without textures. NPC Voices have load delays and often I have silent dialogues. Items have little and uncomfortable hitbox, when you want to take it, you must find the little point above it. On PS5, we have uncomfortable PC interface without habitual for console gaming interface, but with cursor. Side missions short and silly, so I don’t want to speak about that. Dark zones, at first, they seem interesting, but on 3-4 try, u understand that they all identical. Gameplay, especially parkour, is good and I have a lot of fun, when run across the city, it’s better and more dynamic then in 1st game. But it’s not save this game. Don’t recommend it for play.
