    don't believe the Hype created by Techland. It's all fake. And fake is the great sales success they described. The truth is games are very unhappy about DL2 because we have been deceived:

    1. graphics has been heavily downgraded from E3 version of 2019 2. the game has hundreds stupid bugs 3. animations are a joke 4. it is boring and mediocre in everything 5. can't be saved manually    don't believe the Hype created by Techland. It's all fake. And fake is the great sales success they described. The truth is games are very unhappy about DL2 because we have been deceived:

    Grafisch ist dieses Spiel sehr schlecht. Die Texturen scheinen aus einem Spiel von vor 10 Jahren zu stammen. Das Beleuchtungssystem ist schrecklich, die Charaktere sehen aus wie Papier. Es scheint nicht mit der Ps5 zu spielen, sondern eine Ps4 in der Hand zu haben. Und es ist nicht lustig

    DL2 is so bad I've no words to describe it. Pretty sure most positive reviews here are from Techland employees paid to give fake ratings 10 out of 10. This game's a mess of gameplay, glitches, bugs, broken saves, death loops and other garbage. They totally ruined the very good DL1

    how bad it looks like. it seems you're playing a game from 2015 with bad textures and ugly environments. Despite that it's very demanding, my rtx 3080 is hardly capable to make it run at 4k all maxed out. Damn Techland

    Such a shame, I was really hyped with the whole "narrative focus" and "decisions with consequences" thing... It could have turned out so differently if Avellone had been at the helm...     Okay finished it and I’m lowering the score further, true crap… Lazy writing, glitchy, poor animations, black screens every few seconds in story missions, AI teleporting everywhere… I could go on but just wait for it to be £15.

If you look back at Dl1 special infected each of them have iconic design like toad(spitter),fireman(goon),child(screamer),big Army(Demolisher), big green blister (Bolter). Zombie with opened ribcage(Bomber) . we can easily recognize em by just looking at their silhouette. Im seriously having problem with the slowness of the parkour, its too slow, lack of impact feeling, sometime doesn't grab ledge you looking at. The hit responses/animations for the first game were absolutely beautiful and plentiful the second one feels like a rough and shoddy ripoff made by a different company. Don't support games that are hyped to moon and back by developers, but the end product is boring, lifeless and buggy. This is why gaming is dying. Hopefully Rockstar, Remedy and Insomniac bring gaming back on track, but as of right now, until you keep supporting games like Dying Light 2 and Far Cry 6, thereIf you are actual gamer and still care about this artform, don't buy this game.     Auf der PS5 sind Missionen Verbuggt, Trophys Verbuggt, Sprachausgabe ist nicht nur schlecht, sondern ist auch Verbuggt, Tja und die Grafik ist für daß Jahr 2022 nix besonderes. Kann man mal im Angebot für nen 10er kaufen.

За 18 часов игры не встретил ни одного прыгуна вне зданий, че за хуйня ? Символ игры по факту, а сидит вечно дома наказанный. Графика со зрением -5 пойдёт, но оптимизация, конечно, мое почтение, ощущения атас. Короче все плохо, за че не возьмись, грустно, плохо, ужасно. Технический пиздец, игру ещё доделывать пару лет. Сказанный даунгрейд относительно рассказов. Но главное, зомби больше не могут споткнуться и смешно наебнуться с крыши, если бы могли, то все простил бы. А так, 0 из 10 нахуй...… Expand

    Performance is extraordinarily bad, walking through different areas basically rolls a diceroll to determine a multiplier for your fps. In a span of about 15min, you can get 60fps in a dense city area, walk indoors to get hit with 30fps, then walk back into that same dense city area to get 15fps. The glitchiness and bugs are worse than Cyberpunk's at launch.

    Everyone in my Discord server playing it at launch was on a cycle of playing in 30 min stretches before needing to restart for various reasons. Some times the menu freezes, sometimes the game just locks up, mission critical AI or prompts just completely break. This is made infinitely more terrible by the complete exclusion of manual saving or even the basic ability to restart from checkpoint. You have to either quit to menu or Windows to access checkpoints, which makes the game's bugginess infinitely more unbearable.

    The graphics are wildly inconsistent on a spectrum that ranges from Far Cry 3 at worst, 4 and 5 for the most part but admittedly giving Far Cry 6 a run for its money every so often. The whiplash from experiencing the last two generations of Far Cry games within a 10 minute stretch of gameplay is on par with what I'd imagine time travel would be like.

    Cyberpunk fell on its face doing actually actually attempting technically mind-blowing graphics, art and storytelling. This game is just nowhere near ambitious enough for me to even make baseline excuses for what a mess it is. The actual game seems like it's a ton of fun, can't wait to play it in 3-6 months.    … Expand

    Another unfinished game that's released to the public. I genuinely think there could be a good game here but as of right now its filled with bugs and poor performance that ruin it for my experience. Even with a $60 before taxes price tag, I'd still recommend waiting for a sale and/or a major update to the game.

    Singleplayer works i guess but COOP is so broken, desync, duplicated objects like chests, gastanks, explosions not syncing, Keypresses not working, the worst of all is that your [Q] button just stops working all the time so no scanning. And this delay/bug also works for other keys so many times you fall to your death because key stop working in COOP. Singleplayer no issues. It looks like they try to sync your Keypresses to the host but that should be Client side, As soon as the matchmaking server goes offline you lose your connection. P2P anyone??? It is very VERY frustrating to play in COOP.

    Also it is a CONSOLE port game, everything is taylored to Console and controller. Your weapons, tools etc must be chosen with a long press, no easy weapon swap with scroll wheel, no they add scroll wheel to your trowables. It is such a shame, DL1 was EPIC. this is just a sloppy secondhand game. Too much focus on Story which is really bad, very bad acting, sound design is very bad, Adults do child voices it is sooo cringy.

    The gameplay, parkour zombieslaying is the only thing that is OK. the rest is soo cringy and bad. DL3 will be a NO buy next time. Such a shame    … Expand

First part was one of the scariest zombie games you could ever find, it has an amazing plot and gameplay. Second part is just for a little children: no more blowing heads or scary zombies, no more interesting evil characters or normal plot.     There's a warning that you're going to leave the mission area and die in 4 seconds later.
    It dies infinitely every 4 seconds and repeats itself.
    There's no solution and it's impossible to play games.
    It occurred a day after it started and couldn't do it all weekend.
    Don't buy it.

The infected are too easy to fight and usually die in one hit they mostly stand there and stare at you rather than attacking you "Pacifist Zombies" me and my friends call them, Further more the chases at night are also boring, the game just spawns a few dozen howlers in the streets and if they spot you, you usually get a few weak infected that chase you down and do 1HP if they can hit you that is. The Parkour, i die more from weak Parkour physics than i do from actual infected (i've not once been killed or downed by infected) The Running and jumping is great but the actual climbing needs work. All together i don't think this is a game i can be bothered to finish, it's a weak follow up to the previous game which had much better protagonist and characters which were funny and iconic, where as the characters in Dying Light 2 were boring and just had no personality, just like Aiden. also this game is not even pushing next gen standards at only 1080p60fps on Playstation 5 when the console could easily run at 4K60fps… Expand

    What a bad start of 2022 and a waste of my 70 euro's.
    This is nothing like the game we were promised in 2018.
    We have been UBISOFTED..
    Ugly graphics, combat / physics is a massive downgrade from Dying Light 1.
    Main story is boring and forced onto the player,
    the game is full of ugly immersion breaking HUD.

    Only positives are the parkour and the soundtrack which i quite like.

    Из хорошего можно подчеркнуть только приятную графику и интересную прокачку снаряжения

    I have finished Dying Light 1 at least 3 times, so i was very hyped for the new one incoming. I didn't expected much, could be even same with new story and locations, maybe improved animations and some more moves. At the beginning i must say that i played just 4 hours, so i finished prologue and i immediately went out to smash some zombies. I knew they deleted ragdoll system from DL1 but i never expect this disaster - now u are just smashing them like in Dead Island and i don't know why it remains me also 7days to Die instead of Dying Light. I have totally no fun in fighting zombie at all, i was just spamming left mouse button and sometimes healing - that's the whole combat system, awful. Fighting against humans is more entertaining than in DL1 but to be honest i think that if they would add pairing to DL1 combat style it would be already better than this. About a parkour - i hate that i can't sprint whenever i want, probably parkour might be better when u unlock more skills but it clearly simplified compared to DL1 i guess just to make game easier for kids (*for me same thing like EA did BF2042) and it feels TOO SLOW. City look's also simplified and i felt like there is just few routes to go when in first one i was making my ones. New night system a.k.a chase stars from GTA might be a not that bad, expect that night in DL1 was so much better. Game lost this atmosphere of danger and the whole game looks totally no sandbox but like scripted RPG game and it's not on Witcher's 3 level. In my opinion they get rid of things that was keeping me in DL1 for years instead they gave my totally basic combat system with lack of animations and changing the all rules how zombie works in sequel compared to original one (zombies are inside at days, leaving at night + u can meet Volatiles when u gain chasing level) are very freakin bad. How u can get rid of core of franchise? I loved the momentum when i saw full streets of zombies in DL1 and i liked to watch when they were falling over everything. Im not gonna judge on optimization but on RTX 2060 on medium-high without RTX i have like 50-70 fps, playable. There are some glitches ofc but they will fix that i guess. What i don't like about graphic, it seems more cartoonish - it's not on Borderlands Level but i prefer more "realistic" DL1 style. City looks imo bad, no chance vs Harran. About music? I don't know, first theme in prologue gave me that minecraft feeling, in best case fantasy RPG game like PIllars of Eternity - but again, world looks so empty like in izometric RPG where only your actions have impact.     This game is a true nightmare! I had really high hopes for this one but it feels like a pre alpha version of the first game at full cost. Cyberpunk was a bug-fiesta, but I had at least fun with it. This game just frustrates, cause you can feel it wasn‘t ready yet in any minute of the game. Sorry Techland this is a disaster. The first game was 10 times better than this one.

    This is another botched release, akin to Cyberpunk 2077 and Battlefield 2042.

    Unless you want to throw even more money at them, make sure you don't get the special or deluxe edition. You can't redeem the in-game items that come with it.

Side missions are a joke. First side mission I tried was about a guy talking about a fish!? that’s it!? The majority of side missions I’ve tried are them pointing at a challenge. Don’t try to trick me this is a side mission, it’s just a challenge with a guy pointing at it. I usually play almost all side missions in open world games and this must be the worst I have ever experienced claiming this game has side missions.

    The first game was awesome. Did it have flaws? Yes the main story was not great but the overall game was awesome. I feel like the only thing, for some reason, they took from the feedback from the first game was that people was not a huge fan of the main story. And their response was let us create a much worse story and only focus on that, so that what was good about the first game is just not present anymore! Where are the legendary blueprints you could find? Fun skill tree? Side missions? There is nothing to do in this empty open world. Nothing to work towards. Nothing to save up money for or a skill I want to get. The skill tree is really weird for some reason I could just pick the last skill in both trees as one of my first skills. That makes no sense. I played this game on hard difficulty but I just felt that they made resources more scarce. I upgraded some of my blueprints at the beginning but I never had enough resources to actually use them. Whats even the point of making an open world game if there is nothing to do except for the main story (which was bad).

    The world has a lot of copy paste content. All indoor sections look the same. They even ruined the day/night cycle for exploration. In the first game you could choose if you want to explore a volatile nest during the night or day. More zombies are inside during the day but it can be more difficult and scary to get to the nest during the night. In the second game they claim to have the same choice but it is just not true! I was inside a GRE facility during the day and the zombies spawned right on me by the second. I wanted the challenge but the game did not let me. Why lie about this feature when it is not implemented in the game. Fat zombies literally spawned and exploded on me every 10 seconds because it was during the day!?

    The only thing that was fun about this game was laughing about how bad the story was. People constantly calling you telling you that they love Lawan and if you hurt her they will get mad. I DON’T KNOW LAWAN. Why does everyone in this game care for Lawan? Why even fight amongst each other? Just make amends and bond over the fact that you all LOVE Lawan! If the game did not force Lawan and her kill list (really is she 5yo?) down my throat I might have enjoyed Lawan as a character more. But now she together with the rest of the story just feels like a cringy mess. You where not able to make a linear story in the first game. What made you think you could pull of a story with choices? Like I can’t climb this rock but I’ll show them, I’ll climb Everest! Why!? The studio really doesn’t have the maturity to create a game with several choices. To do that successfully you truly need to be able to create characters with depth not just black and white characters. This was embarrassing and I really can’t understand anyone giving this game a higher score. I’m not even going to talk about the bugs although they are game breaking and very common. Fixing the bugs won’t change my opinion or score of this game. You can clearly see how they struggled with the vision for this project. Messy leadership leads to messy game.    … Expand

I'm shocked at how they butchered the parlour with the stupid addition of moon gravity jumping, slow as **** vaulting and climbing and the overall default running speed is unbelievably slow, especially when you compare it to the first game. Weapons are far too weak even in the endgame (yes I have finished the game) zombies are still tanky but most of all fighting the zombies is just a big cure for insomnia. They don't have ragdoll physics, there is no weight to your weapons at all, and they barely stagger when you hit them. Fighting zombies in the first game was 1000 times more fun in the first as there was so many ways to kill them but in this game they don't even tumble when you kick them off of rooftops they just freeze and fall straight down like a loony tunes character. I know that alot of people love this game and good for them but many of those people I know haven't even played the first. On my final note feel like I need to mention that this games graphics have almost zero character compared to the first. The first games graphics really popped and had so much character. Yes there are more polygons and rendering but you will never be able to distinct where you are unless the buildings are taller because you will be seeing the same mossy green rooftops the entire game. In the first game I knew where I was all the time because no place looked the same and the old town especially had alot of distinctive areas like the town centre full of zombies or the danger zone that played a fake message leading into a trap with a serial killer. Plus the nights are just not scary anymore. It is way to bright to be even classed as night. it should be called evening instead. There a no more roaming volatiles and the special infected are almost never present apart from the howler. I think I saw a banshee and a volatile about 2 times my entire playthrough which one of each was scripted btw. And you will never feel afraid at night like you did in the first. I wish I could praise the game more but the only beneficial change is the combat between humans. If I was to suggest what to play instead, I would suggest the platinum edition of dying light 1… Expand

Le mode résolution est injouable. Libérer les stations de métro revient à faire à chaque fois la même chose avec quelques zombies ou ennemis à l'intérieur mais rien de vraiment flippant.

    Et SURTOUT, WTF des rapaces ??? Ils sont ou sérieux la nuit ? Il y en a 2 dans les zones de quarantaines. Ok pourquoi pas, mais ensuite quand ils sortent la nuit ils sont ou ? Dans les rues c'est zombie et hurleurs, même quand les hurleurs nous détectent c'est pas avant le niveau de poursuite 3 qu'on voit arriver des rapaces. Ils sont où sérieux ?? À part après la détection la nuit est ennuyante. Tout comme la journée. Les zombies sont peu différents les uns des autres.

The story started okay but became boring quite fast, but this didn't spoil the    It's not only a bad sequel to Dying Light, it's just a bad game in general.

    My friend and I dived into the first Dying Light a year ago and although the game was quite outdated at that time, we finished the whole game in coop with pleasure. It was a great action game with a quite satisfying combat system. The story started okay but became boring quite fast, but this didn't spoil the action. New skills and tricks helped to keep the game fun while we progressed through the story.

    Dying Light 2 lacks everything that made the first game fun. It introduced a bunch of RPG mechanics that don't give anything to the gameplay. The combat system is no longer satisfying. Now you need carefully work on your build and check all the numbers instead of killing a bunch of zombies with a nice slash. If your weapon is a lower level than it needs to be - you will be slashing one zombie for a very long time.

    My other issue with the game is that it's SO bugged. For a game that's been out there for quite a few months, the amount of bugs is ridiculous. We were stuck in all possible places, some quests were impossible to finish because of the bugs, animation of zombies lagged all the time. They were randomly running in different directions, then teleporting to different places. Sometimes they ignored us like we were not there, sometimes people and zombies were staying near each other without any interaction. Human enemies were rather dancing around rather than fighting. Instead of immersing in a scary and dangerous world, the game looked like some kind of freak show.

    And the story - it's just meh. After the first two hours, we started to skip most of the dialogues.

    This is not what we expected: a downgraded version of the original one. Everything is worse than DL1: graphics, gameplay, story, animations, saving system, commands. Absolutely no worth spending 79 eur on it

    I honestly didn't see such a stupid story and design, the city in the game is surrounded by huge walls, so people who have lived there for over 15 years have not been able to clean the streets and buildings of zombies but have chosen to live on roofs where trees grow out of nowhere what a idiot directed the game ??

    Techland just refuses to admit they're no good at storytelling. They already failed in making a compelling liniar story in the first game, what made them think a story with choices (which is far more demanding) was gonna work out any better? The story was unbearable to get through ontop of such garbadge voiceacting. Why would I care for how much choices I have when I don't care about anything going on? Take "The walking dead" season 1&2 by Telltale games for example, which btw its sole gamemechanic is choices, I very much enjoyed these games. Despite having barely any of its choices truly matter I still enjoyed every opertunity I got to invest in it's story, because I CARED FOR IT. Not for Dying light. Do NOT BUY for its story.

    OPEN WORLD/ EXPLORATION:
    Here I can see people argue there has been improvements. For me, overall it's a strong NO. The open world has more fun layouts for you to interact with as you parkour, yes but there are no fun encounters, sidequests or gratifying loot to find. It was just no fun whatsoever to explore.
    Weapons break so fast you don't even care when you find a ledgendary weapon, and where the hell did all the weapon blueprints go?! That was my favorite loot in the first game!

    GRAPHICS:
    Who cares? It's Dying light, it has never been at the forefront for this game. Gameplay and exploration is what makes or breaks in this game. Graphics has been improved no doubt, but nothing to be competing with other triple-A-games in the industry. So if you're expecting great improvements in the looks department after 7 years from its predecessor you're out of luck.    … Expand

    Controls are the worst. You can't slide because of delay. You can't can't the buttons. Want to use x as jump? Too bad mandatory R1? It is so Dumb I can't stand it! In a game about traversal you should feel comfortable with the controls. They don't care how you feel. Bad gamedon't buy until they fix it.

    Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.

    Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.
