    as Italian dialogues are missing, I found it troublesome to play during fast-paced sequences, performing parkour and having to face lots of enemies while the game keeps bombarding you with lots of small subtitles in a different language. It's very distracting and you aren't able to do both things while playing.     Where to start.. Uninteresting story, dozens of fetch quests, bland weapons, boring skills, etc.

    History ... HISTORY! Oh my **** god! How weak it is! I was hit in the mouth 20 times when in cutscene before I started a fight / duel. Run out of ideas? Any of you play RPG, ever? Your script grind my gears. The NPC loses the radio, so that the opponents can find her trail because of that, and she is using that radio after a few secs - **** logic! You go to the observatory, take strong, special blockers so that all this chemistry does not melt you down in the blink of an eye. What is Lauan doing? She is rescuing you in no time, just like that. But you dear player survive direct hit from fooking missile! Nobody wants to get a skyscraper? You get tired for 20 minutes, then Lauan flies to your rescue and after 30 seconds he is next to you.

    Sometimes I was surprised how the action was going because I chose an answer that completely did not match what happened moments later. Spoiler alert! As with the final scene. And the last boss... the last boss!! I was so BORED! 4 stages of bordom and stupidity.

    The characters are shallow, the acting sucks like hell. The game is too short, the spheres of influence don't matter, the choices are not worth **** and the whole thing just sucks. 2/10 + 1 point for not having Italian language.

    Terrible development, terrible story and gameplay compared to the first one but even without comparison. Terrible graphic and tons of bugs. Lot of players being mocked with this disgusting product that costs 70 euros...
    Please Warner Bros come back and produce an honorable DL2.

    Game breaking glitches really ruined this experience for me. This game is a good example of why a person should never buy a game on release. Only buy games when they are discounted and on sale because by the time that happens; they will have actually finished it. Thereby justifying the $20 expense.

I had 0 fun (I found the first one very boring.. so when I watched the trailer during E3 2018 I decided to give another chance to Techland.. but wow very boring with all the quests and the main story.. seriously copy paste a lots of the locations on the map just to have a longer game and no fun exploration.. combat are so arcade and no hitBad game and a very over-hyped game by the press..     1. Огромнейшие баги которые напрочь убивают весь игровой экспириенс. Квестовые двери не открываются, летающие зомби в воздухе, диалоги с летающими дверьми вместо персонажей, зависание прыжков. 2. Оптимизация и мыло. 3090    Зарегистрировался только чтобы оставить оценку. Никогда в жизни этого не делал, но эта игра заставила меня это сделать. Начну с самых критичных для меня минусов:

    1. Огромнейшие баги которые напрочь убивают весь игровой экспириенс. Квестовые двери не открываются, летающие зомби в воздухе, диалоги с летающими дверьми вместо персонажей, зависание прыжков.

    2. Оптимизация и мыло. 3090 задыхалась и после пары часов игры просаживался фреймрейт (система очень холодная)

    3. Просто максимально бредовый и дырявый сюжет, особенно в конце. Такое чувство что его переписывали тысячу раз. Это наверно самое большое разочарование, именно этот фактор стал решающим чтобы я зарегистрировался и оставил отзыв.

    4. Физика всей боевки. Об этом уже много сказано.

    5. Постоянные загрузки (!!!) диалогов, как будто я играю в игру 2010 года.

    6. Ультраскучные квесты в роли принеси подай, которые практически не имеют никакого смысла в сюжете.

    7. Баги в коопе. Сначала вы с другом на задании, идёт кат сцена, вы оказываетесь зачем то в центре города, потом переноситесь в обратно в локацию сюжетного задания, и так по кругу несколько раз, пока не закончится кат сцена. Как покупатель я не понимаю почему я должен страдать и пользоваться очень сырым продуктом за 60 долларов. Для этих целей есть тестировщики, которые получают за это зарплату. За 10 долларов я бы в это поиграл, но не за 60, это позор.

    Плюсы:

    1. Реально хороший продуманный паркур.

    2. Есть кооп.

    3. Не заметил копипаста повторяющихся зданий, выглядит все так будто ты путешествуешь по настоящим городам. К сожалению это все плюсы, и мне от этого очень грустно, что теклэнд тупо просрали такую хорошую игру. У меня все.    … Expand

In short: zombies at in 5 fps, all objects further than 5 meters are blurred, trees on buildings in 2D, grass in 2D, quests are boring, dialogs are loading with about 5 sec delay. Sometimes after you had a dialog you need to go 2 meters to wait for another dialog... A lot of bugs. Why can't you just play your game and see whatI never write reviews, but for this game I have to write.     From writing standpoint alone, Days Gone is miles ahead of this game. Days Gone has more depth, more natural dialogue, more interesting world design, better graphics and so on. Why i'm even mentioning Days Gone is the fact how big downgrade Days Gone 2 really is in terms of open world zombie games over the years. It's even worse than DL1 in many areas.

Parkour gets old in 2 hours, story is awful, characters forgettable at best, there's pretty much no horror in this horror game. If you want solid open world zombie game that has actual horror elements, i wouldJust an advice from one gamer to another, ignore all the fake positive 10/10 reviews. I'm from the Netherlands and didn't like anything about this game: 1. it is visually ugly, bad textures, bad characters' faces, raytracing is not perceivable. 2. it's not fun to play, just generic zombie game with stupid quests and missions, nothing memorable. 3. broken savelots of people are complaining not just for missing italian but because this is a bad game and players are unhappy. This game looks 6 years out of date and I absolutely hated the hand animation when searching bodys or picking up stuff around the world. It just looked so bad. The hands come and search or pick up and you are nowhere near the object. Once again I hated with a passion. TotalThere are lots of bugs in this game.     It's a solid experience that suffers from gamebreaking bugs and unfocused story telling in the main plot line. Dont get me wrong, this would easily be a 7/10 or even 8/10 if the game would bot have these major problems.

Re-using the same plot devices over, and over and over... long boring dialogue that doesn't engage you at all. but here's the worst part, the MOST important part of this game should be the play control and it's the absolute worst. I mean for started R1 for jump??? W T F ??I can't even begin to explain what a frustrating mess this garbage game is. Buggy, messy, nonsensical, moron town. Re-using the same plot devices over, and over and over... long boring dialogue that doesn't engage you at all. but here's the worst part, the MOST important part of this game should be the play control and it's the absolute worst.     Even with the motion blur turned off it gives me really bad sickness due to the unchangeable FOV, the character's constant headbobbing and moving, and how jerky he is with his movements. Cut-scenes are even worse. I don't understand how these devs can't get this stuff right.     Нам показывали в трейлерах красивых женских персонажей, забудьте, по ним прошлась повесточка и все они стали менее симпатичными чем зомби, будь этот мир реальным, некрофилия была бы в почёте, не дай бог такую обезьяну встретить в реальной жизни(бог не даст, их просто не существует(только в головах меньшинств)) но в играх они есть, на хрена?? чтоб снежинки не растаяли(полейте их кипятком) нужды большинства важнее нужд меньшинства которые не создают ничего они как вандалы только всё портят, калечат, ломают...
    Я играл 2 дня(12часов).. и мне не хочется возвращаться в эту поделку, там нет ничего прекрасного, ни сюжета ни персонажей, всё это есть в GoD4, а паркур есть в других играх.
    И да ГГ ведет себя как 12 летняя девочка, но пьёт пиво. проблемы с рожами персонажей справляются мододелы но это не плюс к игре, это жирный неуд "дизайнерам"    … Expand

    The combat sucks without guns as the first game had, its all mele slashing or stupid parkour fighting that most people don't even want to use. All that had to do was make a good story, which they didn't, and import the same fighting with a few improvements an they failed.     The combat sucks without guns as the first game had, its all mele slashing or stupid parkour fighting that most people don't even want to use.

    All that had to do was make a good story, which they didn't, and import the same fighting with a few improvements an they failed.

    The game bugs your saves an it lacks a new game plus feature so if at any point your game experiences an issue it would be best to stop playing. Some of the secrets are neat but nothing is really fun about them as they are just dumb time trials.

    The game also leaves you no way to truly max out your character unless your on pc with cheat engine. I really don't see how they are going to make the game better as the story was pretty much trash all interactions are really lame     … Expand

Its a survival rpg but the horror part it not there. The game is just not scary. In Dying Light 1, even near the very end of the game, a group of zombies was an actual threat that was hard to get rid off, not to mention virals or goons. At the beginning of the game encounter with 2-3 zombies was enough to get you killed. The sense of impeding doom, that you can die at any moment was present through the entire Dying Light 1 experience. In Dying Light 2 I forgot there were zombies at all. They didn't pose much of a threat and we're dying in 3 hits. There is a very limited variety of them as well, even ar night. In DL1 you'd meet at least 3 variants of goons, toads, bolters, voliatiles... DL2 let's you meet a voliatile mostly in cutscenes. Zombies are just not scary. Second thing is the night. The night was stripped of all gear inducing elements. There's no more nighttime challenge, basically. Enemies are more or less the same, and it's enough to stick to the roof to avoid any threat. It's just boring. The night lest you explore places where zombies stay during the day. Places that are more or less the same. There are a couple of variants that look 1:1, copy-paste, not interesting at all. You're just not inspired to explore, and exploration was big in DL1. This leads to the next issue - crafting system was diminished to absolute **** you do not need it to go through the game. I remember going after resources needed all the time, like gazes or metal parts in DL1. Well, you don't have to do it in DL2, this you are not inspired to explore even more! I finished the game with a ****ton of garbage that I looted though the game. You can't craft cool weapons right off the bat, there's just not much pressure on exploration which was major and vital in DL1. The city IA NOTHING like Harran, I get it's been many years since Harran but.. come on! Villedor is cool only at times where Harran had that eerie, post-apocaliptic-kind-of-cool atmosphere everywhere. The second game was stripped off all the elements that made DL1 a gem. Instead, Techland focused on the story, which is cheap, non-logical, jumps from thing to thing without any explanation. My 5 year old nephew would have written a better narrative, what the **** Techland. The ending was dog**** and the final boss was just cheesy? He fought with a tactic of a person who goes through Dark Souls for the first time. The game has nothing to do with DL1!! No atmosphere at all. Parkour was an improvement, and parkour-combat was very cool, bit it's just not enough. Graphics are ... I dunno, I'm not big on graphics anyway, they were enough for me, but it does not compensate anything. The game is bad and should stand as an example on how NOT to make a sequel. Especially if people want more of the same thing. I was very sad when I finished this game. Oh, and the 60$ pricetag is pathetic. The whole thing seems like a call of duty money grab.… Expand

    Almost all areas of the game have been gutted and what new things they have added are just surface level at best. The movemtent is slower and clunky. The beloved grappling hook from the first game has been castrated of all forward momentum, and a paraglider has been given as an alternative, which lets you pleasently float around the city safely out of reach from zombies , both of these things spectacularly combine to neuter all kinetic, frantic energy of the chases found in the first game. Night time is less lethal and less scary. They have added a "chase meter" that you need to build to level 4 before it ever becomes a threat. Essentially making you the aggressor and diluting the whole horror experience that night time was meant to be. Want a good chase? Well better go out and make a conscious effort to make as much noise as possible. None of it is organic or naturally occuring.

    the other movement mechanics aren't really built on from the first game so the whole thing just feels like a total downgrade the graphics are what they are. some areas are pleasent enough, others are laughable bad The world feels less alive than ever despite being a city with factions, its less rewarding to explore, more repetitive, and it actually feels like less places are enterable.

    The faction system is completely surface level and doesn't even attempt to go deeper The story is serviceable. Not interesting or unique, but serves as an excuse that you are in the game.

    Beh come molti fanno notare, il titolo è doppiato in molte lingue ma non l'italiano. Oltre a questo i sottotitoli hanno una qualità bassa. Odio questo trattamento... mi limiterò a giocarlo tra qualche mese o anno, quando costerà 10€.

    Was going to buy it (really enjoyed first Dying Light), but I will not, since personally I do not buy games with Denuvo. I am an honest person willing to pay even full price, not a criminal, and I do not like when someone treats me like a thief or a pirate.

Either the zombie will not come out, then the dead inscription is not counted as killed and the corpse is always highlighted "kill". Then the nominal mob flies into space from a hit with a weapon under a buff for damage.

    I like the first one better. The story is crappy, characters woodden, I just skipp the dialogs. This game makes me turn it off and start the first one. The graphics desing is actually worse despite better performance but this is just thanks to the new console generation

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The bugs are absolutely awful ranging from invisible characters in cutscenes or no audio in cutscenes to the deathloop bug (dying over and over upon spawning) the story is just plain awful when it gets to the end and on top of that for finishing the game you get rewarded with leveling 1/4th of the map by missiles making the areas damn near unplayable and half the map being covered by fog. Honestly such a disappointing experience and I found out that 90% of the side missions are just parkour challenges and the ones that aren’t are fetch quests, so literally nothing exciting and not worth $60. The only thing good about this game is the parkour and the aspect of choosing a faction (which they could’ve executed better). Also the last thing the skull tree is so lack luster it’s almost despicable. Most of the skills you won’t find yourself using and a lack of variety in the skills too.… Expand

Те двое ушли довольные с фразой, мол, ладно, проверим. Если вы ничего не поняли, не переживайте, я тоже, потому что все диалоги этой игры построены именно так, а именно очень глупо.
    Сюжет вообще ни о чём, квесты скучные, а финальный босс это какие-то аниме бои.
    Если хотите попрыгать по красивому городу - покупайте. Для других целей эта игра не годится..    … Expand

Остальные же второстепенные персонажи не вызывают к себе никакой интерес. С геймплейной точки, игра не может предоставить ничего, что могло бы завлечь игрока. Все те же аванпосты, минимальное количество побочных интересных заданий и провальные ночные задания. В первой части ночь была самым атмосферной и пугаещий частью игры. В DL2 мы имеем быстрые побегушки от точки к точки,лишь бы хоть что-то увидеть. Баги это стандарт для AAA-проектов. Если не одного не встретили значит вы везунчик. Вернёмся к концовкам игры. Фееричный провал и не более. Сделать несколько концовок и все походы как одна, это надо уметь. Все эти проблемы в совокупности заставляют пропустить эту игру,даже фаната первой части. Процесс прокачки и нулевая стамина на начале игры поражает. Активности по карте тоже не имеют ценности (принеси и унеси).… Expand

    I must say i like the first game more but its really not that bad. For all the Italian gamers you guys should be happy that the voice is missing I am an Austrian and i want the option switching language so bad. The voice acting in german is so bad i have never seen something like that i am not kidding. It ruins the game.
    Update: Dying light points are now in the game.

    The mechanics of the new zombies are not impressive, they still spit, jump, and others are slow.
    2. Interface - what happened to the interface? Did you hire an interface designer directly from Ubisoft? Seriously, it's very similar to Farcry and Assassin's Creed. The previous interface was not as intuitive, but it was simple and straightforward with its own unique style.
    3. Gameplay mechanics
    The battle became boring and repetitive from time to time, it was simply complicated by dodging and parrying, forgetting about the repulsion of enemies.

    The grappling hook has become very realistic, but we are in the game and the fact that in Dying Light 1 you could quickly move to the roof directly from the ground often saved me from dangerous zombies, oh wait in Dying Light 2 there are no dangerous zombies!

    The paraglider is a great idea, the implementation is **** By the way, in Dying Light 1 there was a paraglider that just helped you descend from a tall building or fly several tens of meters, in Dying Light 2 you fly with this parachute all over the map, but why?

    Parkour has become more interesting due to new tricks, but you can really quickly climb somewhere only towards the end of the game when you don’t need it at all. You have to constantly wait for your stamina to recover.

    4. Quests and main campaign

For be the biggest deal about dying light 1 was the ragdoll physics. Gta, red dead redemption AND dying light 1 are the only games where i can say the ragdolls feel almost perfect. You hit a zombie in the jaw and you would see his head moving the opposite way with a higher velocity than the rest of the body, thus resulting on the zombie falling on the ground. That was not an pre-defined animation, but a exporadic reaction caused by the hit of my weapon (ofc due to the engine). The weapons had weight and punch to them and the zombies reaction to hits was one of the biggest parts of the game for me.
    Fast forward to 2022 and the game has the generic "zombie virus destroyed the whole civilization" type of plot, parkour looks off (improved, but the feeling isnt quite there) and dont get me started on animations. Ragdolls are non existant for weapon hits. You wont hit a zombie in the face and cause him to fall and try to get up. He'll simply stand there getting hit until the lifebar is fully drained **** off). The dropkick is so strong it looks like the hulk just drop-kicked the zombie.
    In general, the game feels, looks, smells and tastes like dead island 3 and does not import one single great thing of what made Dying Light 1 so immersive and grounded. best comparison would be Ghost Recond Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint (not pay to win.     No fast traveling.

    No repairs.

    Combat - Zombies will dive at you without warning (most of the time from behind their allies) and you'll be knocked down on the ground. Off-screen random enemies which spawn out of thin air. Good luck trying to access military vehicles as the zombies keep coming at you while you attempt to lock pick the vehicle.

    Unnecessary respawns: Bandits in bandit camp respawn without warning. Howlers at night respawn almost immediately when you take them down with a ranged weapon.

    Illusion of choice: Besides a few crucial decisions (less than 10 in game), most of the story quests are unaffected by your dialogue choices.

    Every choice is a "bad" choice - Any option you select will result in the opposing person cussing at your or even worse, gets his/her entire camp destroyed by the team you support. The game goes out of the way to remind you that all your choices are bad.

    Tonnes of bugs: I had anomalies going missing mid battle while it's still night time, Howlers frozen in place and won't die, completed side quests which are not marked as completed on the map.

    Unrewarding battles: After fighting waves of zombies, you pretty much loot common material and even worse, sometimes no materials at all. You will get hit from off-screen enemies a lot as well.

    My playthrough has been one of the worse experiences from an 'AAA' title. I don't feel motivate to play this horrible game but I've already spent USD 60+ to get it so I'll just complete the story and then uninstall. Really a horrible experience.    … Expand

    Bought the game and played for 4 days before getting stuck in a deathloop. No update going on 14 days now. Absolutely embarrassment of a game. Don't buy save your money, this game should be $30 at most for something 100% unplayable. Pathetic.

    Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.

    Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.
