    NBA 2K24 is a solid Basketball sim that offers tons of content, and the new ProPlay animation technology takes the gameplay to a whole new level, making it one of the most complete NBA games we’ve seen in recent memory.

    NBA 2K24 is one of those titles that is difficult to judge and above all to assign a numerical value that can balance its great gaming achievements and disappointing greed. On the one hand there is in fact one of the most beautiful basketball simulations ever made, on the other an online sector that in no way hides the excessive importance of microtransactions. The Mamba Moments and the Eras (with LeBron) are two splendid additions to a content offering with few equals in the sports sector, while ProPLAY technology on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series . In short, NBA 2K24 is one of the best sports games of this generation, and it is a shame that the intrusiveness of microtransactions inevitably ends up weakening the excellent work done on the gameplay.

    NBA 2K24 is a superb sports-gameplay. It delivers high-level basketball on the court and also presents the action like a modern TV-broadcast. Along with a lot of basketball-nostalgia and tons of game-modes, "NBA 2K24" is an overall better package than its predecessor. However, microtransactions and the pay-to-win-mentality seriously hurt two of its two main game moves and leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth.

    If you're looking for a basketball game with updated rosters and you want a good game, NBA 2K24 is the best option to go for. But when we think that it comes out every year and compare it to last year, we can't put anything on it this year.

    NBA2K24 is more than ever a prime example of a game that is made with the mentality to fulfill the wildest microtransactions dreams of the executives and stakeholders of the publisher. Between the constant pressure to throw more money in its virtual store you can find a hidden and excellent basketball game.

    Regardless of what this review says, NBA 2K24 will sell millions of copies, and generate millions of dollars through VC. That is because basketball fans who want to play a basketball game have nowhere else to go. The on court action is really good, but without competition to keep them honest, 2K's monetisation has got out of hand and made modes like MyCareer near unplayable without extra investment from players.

    This has been the worst 2k experience I’ve had to start a 2k. I mainly play in park/rec and it’s brutal. While there are people who can shoot the majority of players seem to be laying bricks which makes for sloppy game play. The paint is always clogged as a result. And because they added “shooting slump” that player who gets that won’t hit another shot so shooter can’t shoot anymore. Then there’s the badge regression. Some badges are impossible to level up like blinders and unpluckable. Lock downs are plucking the ball from me left and right as I can’t get my badge upgraded past bronze(mine goes to gold). I wasted $150 on a build with passing and handles. Not only am I getting ripped at will, when I make a nice pass with my high accuracy, the guy catching it can’t hit wide open in the corner,,,i hate this 2k… Expand
