The work of Michel Ziegler smacks of passion for a region dear to his heart so strongly that we would like to love this title more than we should. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a new masterpiece that makes Breath of the Wild, one of the best games of all time, look like a draft. By following in the footsteps of its predecessor, it is no longer a “revolution” of course, but it completes the player experience in an epic dimension that has no equal. The feeling of freedom, the feeling of living your own adventure without constraint, these are the great strengths of a game with an absolutely exceptional lifespan. Tears of the Kingdom is discovered over time, little by little, so much so that it will still have things to reveal to us for years to come. It is a jewel of absolute purity and definitely, adventure with a capital A.

This Lovecraftian road trip takes you to the guts whether it's during the strategic fights that end in sweat and blood, in the introspection of the heroes or in the exploration of the dreadful places.
