Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake manages to bring together the best of both worlds: the charm and freedom of old-school games with the comfort and fluidity of modern titles. This starts from a visual point of view with a more successful HD-2D style than ever that looks like an achievement for Team Asano. Controller in hand, the adventure benefits from so many comfort options that it becomes more fluid than ever and modular to satisfy all audiences. Thanks to all this, we find with great pleasure the feeling of freedom typical of Famicom games with gameplay that shines as much by its simplicity as by the combinations offered. And if we can criticize it for the structure of its dungeons, some less beautiful environments and its technique on Switch, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake still succeeds in its bet to bring back to taste a timeless classic in the best possible conditions.- Jeuxvideo.com

Let's break the brick: LEGO Horizon Adventures does not perpetuate the exceptional transmitted by Horizon Zero Dawn. However, it has the merit of being very accessible, like the story with a completely offbeat tone. Its six-hour campaign allows you to quickly learn without fuss what is going on in the original game. In the same way, the gameplay offered takes little advantage of the original concept and may quickly tire video game regulars, and especially Horizon aficionados. Something that is felt in the content at the end of the game which offers the same missions in a loop, but necessary for anyone who is a fan of customization / decoration. LEGO Horizon Adventures is therefore aimed primarily at a young audience or even neophytes, wanting to get their hands on the brick.- Jeuxvideo.com

Max Caulfield is back and she's stronger than ever. A narrative game in the vein of Quantic Dream's works, but with its own identity, Life is Strange Double Exposure is an astonishing experience. While managing to emancipate itself, the game narrates a different poetry for a result that does not leave you indifferent. Despite a somewhat slow pace and some events that are a little too disjointed, nostalgia works and we become attached again to the one who was a teenager at Blackwell. Without being revolutionary, the formula, tinged with parallel worlds and temporal powers, manages to move us. Without going all the way with its intentions, this long-awaited sequel opens a door to new adventures of the very charismatic Maxine. Can't wait for her return.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Ants is much more than just a feast for the eyes. Tower Five studio has succeeded in bringing this kind of game to console. It offers players a new way to approach real-time strategy thanks to accessible and easy-to-use gameplay. However, we regret the brutal comparison with the book in terms of narration since the title lacks memorable moments and leaves the player little involved, at least for the story. Otherwise, it has never been so enjoyable to play as an ant and it would be stupid not to give it a chance when it is released.- Jeuxvideo.com

With Mario & Luigi: The Brotherhood of the Legend, it's easy to see that Nintendo wants to offer the return of a franchise appreciated by fans without getting too wet. We find an effective combat system, still as exhilarating thanks to its modernization in both substance and form. Conversely, the story told and the illustrated environments lack a strong identity: this is also how the Mario and Luigi games have been able to shine. This overly smooth side nevertheless allows a wide audience to get into the swing of things, especially with the treatment (whether for the writing or the gameplay) of Luigi. But everyone will come up against a sea voyage shaken by multiple interruptions and repetitions. Like Ulysses in the Odyssey, Mario and Luigi arrive safely, not without a few scars. Like the Greek hero, they will need a few more exploits to hope to enter the legend once again.- Jeuxvideo.com

If you like pretty gothic outfits, green fog-draped scenery, and a close relationship with death, the A la vie à la vie pack definitely has the potential to seduce you. We like the elegant scenery of Ravenwood, the selection of furniture and outfits, the reaper job that is the highlight of the pack, and the wish list that boosts the experience. Too bad some of the other additions seem so anecdotal and that life as a ghost is ultimately not that special.- Jeuxvideo.com

Without quite matching the technical performance of Forbidden West, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered easily becomes the ultimate version of Aloy's first adventures. The game is more beautiful than ever and offers a facelift that is both super generous and successful... In short, it is THE version to discover this excellent action-adventure game.- Jeuxvideo.com

Planet Coaster 2 wanted to be the ultimate theme park creation game, and it succeeded. The level of detail, the range of parameters to consider, and the number of creation possibilities offered are dizzying. The risk of being discouraged by so much wealth is real, especially since the unclear interfaces and incomplete tutorials will not help you enough. But, in the same way that your visitors will be able to choose whether or not to dive into your new pools, it is up to you to decide which game you will dive into: a demanding micro-management game? An ultra-complete construction game? Or just a fun time on the career mode, borrowing magnificent creations from the community? Everything is possible, and the frustration of not being able to do what you want is reduced. Who said it was easy to tame an almost perfect game?- Jeuxvideo.com

How exhilarating it is to travel the Wild West in the shoes of John Marston once again. Red Dead Redemption ages like a fine whiskey and proves that a video game work ahead of its time ignores the ravages of time. All the qualities of the original game are found in this PC version and much more. Playable in optimal conditions at 144 frames per second in 4K, Rockstar Games' western is living its best life on PC 14 years after its first ride on home consoles, even if it obviously suffers from the comparison with Red Dead Redemption 2.- Jeuxvideo.com

After an excellent campaign, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 signs a multiplayer and Zombie just as successful. These are even the best online modes for a long time, carried by a new movement system that will stick to your skin. Everything, absolutely everything has been the subject of the care of the Treyarch teams, from the gameplay to the maps, through the progression system and of course, the legendary Zombie. It's been a long time since we've seen Call of Duty in such shape, and it's great fun. An episode not to be missed, that's for sure.- Jeuxvideo.com

We had a feeling when we got our hands on it last September, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is as imperfect as it is most certainly one of the best role-playing games of the end of the year. Ten years after the Inquisition episode, the BioWare studio proves to us that it still has an undeniable talent for creating characters, bringing them to life and taking us into a rich and living world. However, the construction of its scenario is not revolutionary and its gameplay, as correct as it is, risks dividing the community. Fortunately, the writing, the subjects and the themes behind this fourth chapter make it a great adventure. We have been thinking about it often since September but, after this test, we are not about to forget it. The expectations were perhaps too high but it was worth the ten-year wait.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Epic Dreams of our friends the Smurfs does not turn into a nightmare thanks to its attractive visuals, its adapted handling and its game phases that take so little risk that they cannot mechanically sink. Nevertheless, with only four real distinct universes to visit and repetitive challenges that multiply like mushrooms, the Microids title is like its little poisoned heroes: numb. It is a 3D platformer intended for the youngest, all in all correct, which, like many dreams, is forgotten as soon as you reach its end.- Jeuxvideo.com

By offering this formula of two games in one, SEGA offers a great locomotive for the third film which will be released next December. True to itself, the excellent Sonic Generations has lost none of its brilliance, even if the new features are too light to be sufficiently striking in the minds. What Chao to find in the levels, rare new bonuses... we could have expected much more from a remaster. Fortunately, the part dedicated to Shadow is intended to be more ambitious, with a mini open world to explore and powers that boost the experience for several additional hours of play. Without being revolutionary, Sonic x Shadow Generations is a very good game, but which will, inevitably, have more impact on those who have never touched the original.- Jeuxvideo.com

With this new episode of Nintendo's famous hormone-fueled goose game, you'll come for Mario Party's "Pro" or "Classic" modes, you'll stay for its many other entertaining offerings, both solo and multiplayer. Still as fun, bursting with content and bringing welcome refreshed rules, Super Mario Party Mario Party Jamboree is finally taking risks while the series has been trotting around in its comfort zone for 8 years. Here, online multiplayer is more encouraged than ever, especially with the Koopathlon playable up to 20 players simultaneously. Of course, there is some very good and some dispensable in what it offers to do, but this Jamboree is a very good pick.- Jeuxvideo.com

After the sublime Gris, Nomada Studio is back with an action-adventure game that, under its appearance of an ecological fable with a young woman and her wolf, actually has a much heavier message. And we liked the way Neva took us by surprise. The latest baby from the Spanish team also comes back with a superb artistic direction, where the nature full of details contrasts with the “emptiness” of certain passages, marked by a surrealism that echoes Gris… In Neva, Nomada also offers - for the first time - action-adventure phases and does more than well. The demons that Alba must face give rise to gripping action phases, well staged, where a certain tension reigns (without ever falling into an excessive challenge). A very beautiful adventure that we recommend.- Jeuxvideo.com

Rather than revolutionizing the Persona 5 formula, Metaphor ReFantazio refines it to offer a memorable and addictive journey that is so hard to let go of the controller. In this baroque fantasy universe, Metaphor still stands out from its predecessor by the richness of its gameplay, its original artistic direction and its more political message than ever. But above all, the new title from the Hashino-Soejima-Meguro trio looks like the culmination of the Persona formula with its mastery of rhythm and its additions of comfort of life such as its real-time combat. The result is one of the best role-playing games of 2024 that has everything to be the Persona 6 that does not say its name that we have been waiting for eight years.- Jeuxvideo.com

More than 17 years after Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Sparking Zero takes the strengths of its predecessor to go even further. With the generosity of its casting, the quality of its effects and the impressive staging of its moves, the game excels in its fanservice. But above all, the title stands out for its gameplay as technical as its predecessors which offers both a real margin of progression and instant fun thanks to its accessibility options. Too bad the fights are a little spoiled by readability and camera issues. At the same time, we can blame the game for its minimum service for its interfaces, its cutscenes and its training mode which clash with the care given to the rest of the experience. Despite everything, Sparking Zero has everything to delight Dragon Ball fans, even those who want to play locally who will have to settle for a single arena for the moment, because it really is the Budokai Tenkaichi 4 that everyone was waiting for.- Jeuxvideo.com

Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred is a good expansion for Diablo 4. It doesn't revolutionize the original game like Reaper of Souls did in its time with Diablo 3, but it does bring some solid additions. The main storyline is still driven by an exceptional atmosphere in which you feel immersed. The new class works wonders in terms of customization and is the best way to play dynamic and nervous gameplay. In addition, the underworld of Kurast is a new way to gain power interactively. In short, Vessel of Hatred takes advantage of the additions made in season 4 to offer even more satisfying gameplay than before. The expansion is the perfect excuse to come back to the game for those who abandoned it upon its release or simply those who put it aside at the time. However, it may be too light for veterans who may be expecting more in terms of new features and customization. More than just a place to call home, Sanctuary now has the feel of an unmissable amusement park with Vessel of Hatred.- Jeuxvideo.com

Diving back into this Silent Hill 2 completely rebuilt by Konami is like returning to a childhood village dear to our hearts decades later, or coming across a fiery declaration written by a person with whom ties have been broken... everything is there as in memories, but everything is different too. James Sunderland is back, accompanied by his eternal demons. If our hero has doubts about the necessity of his coming to the heart of the cursed city, we no longer have any: this trying journey is a dream for fans, as much as it will be a nightmare for others. Within this striking story of which we are the Eros (and Thanatos), the infernal round trips to the confines of darkness - even more numerous than in 2001 - will leave tourists on the side of the road. Bloober Team has written a love letter primarily to Silent Hill 2 fans. A letter at least as powerful as the one addressed to survival horror fans 23 years earlier, written by Team Silent.- Jeuxvideo.com

Shattered Space will certainly revive Starfield for those who fell for the Premium Edition, but it won't convince others to spend 30 euros to give it another chance. Building on various strengths of the base title, such as the developed lore and captivating missions, the expansion of Bethesda's software turns its back on other of its pillars. This would not have been a problem if Va'ruun'kai, the only new planet in this DLC, had offered something truly different/innovative/surprising... which is not the case. Short on new content, Shattered Space is content with fast-paced faction quests with multiple choices, which unfortunately do not breathe the wind of renewal that we would have liked after a year of waiting. As such, not everything that is handmade is necessarily in exquisite taste.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is not a second-rate copy of a Link adventure. It is indeed a new episode of the saga in its own right which also has the heavy task of following Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, both considered masterpieces. Although it is less ambitious and displays a very withdrawn narrative, Echoes of Wisdom manages to offer attractive gameplay based on reflection. It is cleverly concealed by a universe that is still as rich as ever, intended for both long-time fans of the series and newcomers. It is also through its additional content that it shines, which for us is only optional in name as it encourages creativity. With Echoes of Wisdom, the legend of Zelda has truly moved into a new dimension with an episode that brilliantly brings together the old and the modern. It is, without a doubt, the essential Nintendo game of 2024.- Jeuxvideo.com

There was reason to be happy about the return of Test Drive Unlimited: offering a gigantic map based on the faithful reproduction of Hong Kong Island and always with this immersive aspect specific to the series, Solar Crown had good arguments to seduce. The bottom line is that the title relies on a repetitive and frustrating progression that almost never rewards the player brave enough to invest hours of hard work; worse still, its alarming technical aspect simply prevents us from enjoying the gameplay and artistic direction that are nevertheless successful. Instead, we will have to make do with a mandatory internet connection that degrades the experience to the point of sometimes making it unplayable and indigestible; we will also have to put up with uneven graphics and a broken framerate, bugs galore and an unbalanced AI that pushes to recurring nervous breakdowns. Fortunately, the sensations and effects of speed are good, the number of cars is correct and the environment pleasant, but it is difficult to appreciate them at their true value for all the pitfalls in question.- Jeuxvideo.com

There was reason to be happy about the return of Test Drive Unlimited: offering a gigantic map based on the faithful reproduction of Hong Kong Island and always with this immersive aspect specific to the series, Solar Crown had good arguments to seduce. With its challenging prestige elimination race proposition, Ara: History Untold is a relevant addition to the 4X genre, boasting some really nice detailed models, a very satisfying crafting optimization system, and a rather dense non-linear tech tree. Too bad the diplomacy is so frustrating and the concept shows some limitations after about fifteen hours of play.- Jeuxvideo.com

If FC 24 had shaken up some things a bit along with its name, starting with the gameplay, FC 25 has not taken this path at all. The considerable contribution this year is called Rush, a new way of playing 5 against 5 quite well integrated into all game modes alongside the classic 11-a-side football. Because even if the title integrates FC IQ, a new tactical and positioning system for AI players very interesting in Career and Clubs mode for budding managers, the gameplay hardly changes one iota compared to last season. Haters of the last opus may therefore move on, except for lovers of Kings League and Ligue 1. The latter will be able to rejoice to see many players from the French championship modeled unlike last year. Cocorico!- Jeuxvideo.com

Once upon a time there was a little hero who, wanting to be appreciated by all, arranged himself in the manner of the lords of his time. Charming as a prince, he invented specialties with eloquence, “a mind as sharp as a fist” he promised. But behind his pleasant features, our adventurer had a hard time hiding his limits. “Stop trying to swell up, or you will die” a lady who saw through his game said to him. That day, he understood: if he did not become a new revered ambassador, he would remain this valiant little esteemed page.- Jeuxvideo.com

Eternal rest definitely doesn't exist when you're a zombie designed in Capcom's labs. As Halloween approaches, the Japanese group brings Frank West back from limbo in a more beautiful, better quality, but slightly cut version of Dead Rising (erotic photos). This Deluxe Remaster edition smooths out the rough edges of a "so 2006" gameplay with heavy hammer blows. The result is enough to make fans salivate, if not turn newbies into fanatics. In any case, Willamette has some nice leftovers that you'll enjoy fighting.- Jeuxvideo.com

While we felt a real leap forward between the 2022 and 2023 installments, the progression is much less dazzling this season with NBA 2K25. Only the most regular players of the license will be able to see certain new animations and the fine new features of a gameplay that is not revolutionary. The fact remains that the title is largely at the level of its generation, and is finally progressing on its usually shaky matchmaking with a few parades (the online Proving Ground mode). For those discovering the game, NBA 2K25 is a real gold mine, with single-player content further expanded with the Curry era for the My NBA mode and other immersive additions. The shadow on the board remains the micro-transaction system (VC) in individual marking of the wallet, essential to progress properly.- Jeuxvideo.com

We would have imagined it more as free-to-play, this Quidditch Champions. Rather faithful to the universe in terms of artistic direction, the game at least has the merit of correctly rethinking the rules of the broom sport to make them much fairer on the screen. On the other hand, the positions are cruelly unequal, the matches frankly chaotic and the game runs out of steam after just a few hours. Unbroken Studios still needs to make many adjustments to make its experience a must-have for Quidditch.- Jeuxvideo.com

With The War Within, World of Warcraft is enjoying a third youth. Like Cataclysm in its time, it modernizes the MMORPG formula in a very competitive environment. No major revolution, but an improvement in thickness of the foundations put in place by Dragonflight: this is how The War Within shines. Enough to wait for the next updates, and of course the other two expansions of the saga, with unprecedented impatience.- Jeuxvideo.com

Before the PS5 Pro comes out, you're going to become a pro-PS5! A long and unbridled version of Astro's Playroom, the ultimate tribute to the PlayStation planet and the licenses that revolve around it, Astro Bot is an exceptional 3D platform game even if it doesn't innovate much. Beautiful, fluid, varied, perfectly manageable and with a mastered arcade pleasure, it is of exemplary generosity and finish. Saber Interactive and Focus Home Entertainment hit hard, very hard. Space Marine 2 is a little gem of an adaptation intended for fans of the Warhammer 40,000 saga and fans of unbridled video game action. This science fiction universe is enhanced by polished and captivating visuals as well as impressive gameplay in both its precision and brutality. And the best is yet to come. The PvE and PvP modes guarantee an exemplary lifespan, as does the customization of the Space Marines, which is a model of its kind. Space Marine 2 could have been perfect without this feeling of repetitiveness that sets in after several hours of play, but which gives way to fun in the company of other players.- Jeuxvideo.com

An excellent visual novel that sublimates the reputation of an anthology license. Yoshio Sakamoto has sharpened his pen to offer better twists, a more generous narrative and a mystery that is always pleasant to follow. The polished visual work, the full dubbing and the overall richness of the artistic direction are only there to refine a high-end narrative experience, barely tarnished by an action plan that is still too classic.- Jeuxvideo.com

Visions of Mana is a real success that places it among the best episodes of the series, close to the top. Rare are the games that give us so much freedom in the formation of our team with varied jobs that multiply the possibilities. Very easy to take at the same time, it does not forget to be also magnificent to look at with an exceptional artistic direction. It may not have the aura of Secret of Mana in its time, but it sets the bar very high and automatically establishes itself as THE JRPG of the moment, without any possible doubt. As much for fans of the great era as for newcomers, Visions of Mana is a very good experience that we highly recommend.- Jeuxvideo.com

If we had to sum up Star Wars Outlaws, it would be in two words: immersion and classic. It's simple, we are facing the most immersive Star Wars video game we have ever seen, with a living and credible universe that perfectly recalls the atmosphere of the original trilogy through a multitude of details. On the other hand, its classic but effective gameplay and open world compensate for their lack of originality with varied game sequences and the density of the activities offered. The result is an experience that looks like a good student, which favors substance over form by showing that it perfectly masters its subject through a structure that does not innovate. One thing is certain, is that Star Wars fans will enjoy this adventure made by fans for fans.- Jeuxvideo.com

At the risk of disappointing its detractors, Concord is a very good hero shooter that could very well overshadow the big names in the genre, if a community of players takes it that far. Firewalk's service game is based on solid arguments: great shooting sensations, 16 varied and perfectly oiled heroes, impeccable technique and artistic direction and even attractive tactical perspectives. As it stands, we just regret overly classic game modes as well as a universe that would have deserved a more important place within the experience... Two points that are not set in stone and that will most certainly improve with future updates (all free, there is no season pass or battle pass, let us remind you). A very good choice. We loved it.- Jeuxvideo.com

After a complicated first approach, Black Myth Wukong opened its doors to us (literally) and we have to say that we would have been disappointed to miss out on its adventure. Supported by one of the most exhilarating gameplays of recent years, Game Science's game offers us a skillfully measured challenge that makes us want to discover more each time. Not so linear after all, the journey of the Predestined would have gained from being more concise and erasing its most extensive portions to focus on the essentials. In any case, for this grand premiere, the game honors its promise in terms of immersion, game system and entertainment, even if we regret the lack of rhythm, the redundancy of the level design and a few slight flaws. The creators of Black Myth Wukong have made their science speak: the formula is not perfect but the alchemy works!- Jeuxvideo.com

We immediately like Nobody Wants to Die for its controlled and simply sublime cyberpunk film noir atmosphere. We come back for the fabulous choices of staging, the animated universe and the gargantuan settings in which we could get lost for hours. The game nevertheless suffers from a handful of flaws in its narrative, its frustrating gray areas and the absence of a journal in which we could have kept track of convoluted affairs. The walking sim remains pleasant to navigate as a whole but its few mechanics are also regrettably too interventionist.- Jeuxvideo.com

If you're looking for the best way to experience Beyond Good & Evil today, look no further. This 20th anniversary edition is indeed the ultimate version of the Ubisoft classic, whether in terms of technique or bonuses! The adventures of Jade and her friends have even aged surprisingly well, even booking in 2024 a dense, gripping, well-paced epic where the word “adventure” takes on its full meaning (exploration, action, racing, etc.). Afterwards, over the years, there are some things that are a little dated. Newcomers will, for example, be annoyed by some puzzles/hidden passages that are not always obvious. For the rest, even the strange new face of Double-H does not detract from the beauty of Hillys and the exciting conspiracy hidden there... A cult video game, that's for sure.- Jeuxvideo.com

It is within a bouquet of references picked from the soil of the best Metroidvania that the celestial flower of Squid Shock Studios attracts our attention. Certainly, its scents are reminiscent of those of the creations of Team Cherry and Moon Studios, but they achieve neither their power nor their finesse. Be careful, under its attractive corolla hide sharp thorns which will certainly irritate the young shoots. Classic but well done, Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus loses a few petals due to questionable choices in its design without this diminishing our pleasure.- Jeuxvideo.com

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is the guarantee of discovering an original game wrapped in a particularly stylish universe. We like the idea of integrating traditional dances into a world of Japanese folklore which mixes with very elegant choreography and a particularly pleasant bestiary to discover. The game reserves some good surprises to renew a gameplay loop that maintains the same structure from start to finish, missing the boat in some of its aspects, such as balancing and the progression of the main character. Kunitsu-Gami finally proves to be rather clever in its strategic proposal, with its different systems, its day/night cycle and its limited resources. An experience that will fill your summer for a good twenty hours.- Jeuxvideo.com

The First Descendant is to Warframe/Destiny 2 what Palworld is to Pokémon/Valheim: a game that draws so heavily on rehashed concepts that it's difficult to extract any personality from it. This does not make it bad, on the contrary: it is designed to be robust and to keep the player invested in its SF universe thanks to the spare parts stolen from its colossi of competitors. Formidably effective, The First Descendant arrives after the war without throwing any stones at the edifice.- Jeuxvideo.com

With Zenless Zone Zero, HoYoverse proves that it knows how to renew itself to remain the king of gacha. With its urban universe teeming with details, its original characters and its impressive cinematics, ZZZ benefits from a production value worthy of an AAA, even more than the previous productions of the Chinese studio. Besides that, the title does not forget the essentials with simple to access but high-level technical gameplay, with satisfactory endgame content even if the main plot is for the moment quite classic. With this solid foundation, we now look forward to seeing the evolution of Zenless Zone Zero in the long term, hoping that the follow-up will be as exemplary as that of Honkai Star Rail.- Jeuxvideo.com

After the masterful conclusion of Endwalker, Final Fantasy XIV leaves on new foundations with Dawntrail. Carried by its lighter tone and its endearing characters, it is in its second part that the adventure takes off, after a sluggish start and some less interesting passages. But more than anything, it is through its graphical update and its magnificent new areas that the experience wows us. With more exciting boss fights, two new fun jobs to play and plenty of comfort options, Dawntrail is an expansion that continues in the right direction instilled by Naoki Yoshida and his teams for over a decade. Hoping that the course is maintained in the next updates and expansions.- Jeuxvideo.com

After the masterful conclusion of Endwalker, Final Fantasy XIV leaves on new foundations with Dawntrail. Carried by its lighter tone and its endearing characters, it is in its second part that the adventure takes off, after a sluggish start and some less interesting passages. Luigi's Mansion 2 - HD manages to give you a cold sweat while retaining the effective and addictive gameplay of the original formula. The alternation between action and puzzles, in well-stocked content, is always just as pleasant. The atmosphere, both frightening and humorous, is perfectly transcribed, and the graphic and sound modernization is a real asset, especially in portable mode on Nintendo Switch OLED. Whether you've played the original game or not, Luigi's Mansion 2 - HD is worth your attention and will provide you with pleasant summer chills.- Jeuxvideo.com

Shadow of the ErdTree is a video game in itself that carries with it all the qualities of the original title. It’s true, we can note some imperfections. The plot would have deserved a bit more spotlight. In the same way, a more readable map would not have been lacking. Negative points that are crushed by a mastered level design, a journey that constantly renews curiosity and always epic fights. If the Occult Tree of Shadow of the ErdTree is in the shadow of its namesake from Between the Earth, the DLC has everything to shine in the same spotlight as the original video game. Shadow of the ErdTree is much more than the additional content of Elden Ring: it is an exceptional adventure in its own right.- Jeuxvideo.com

F1 24 suffers from the syndrome of many annualized sports licenses. The Codemasters developers took a risky gamble by modifying the gameplay of the previous edition which had, in our opinion, found an interesting balance between simulation and arcade. Accessible to everyone and rich in content, F1 24 is a convincing automotive title, but which does not bring major changes except for driving which will not suit everyone. From there, it will really depend on everyone's interest in this franchise, but the need for renewal is becoming glaring.- Jeuxvideo.com

By wanting to compete with Genshin Impact, Kuro Games took everything that made the HoYoverse title successful... sometimes even too much. Whether in its structure, its content and even its interface, everything is reminiscent of the king of gacha. However, it tries to stand out on certain points such as its more advanced action gameplay than its rivals, but also its elegant artistic direction which could turn some people over. Unfortunately, it's difficult to enjoy the experience properly because of this failed French translation. In summary, Wuthering Waves has some arguments to convince those disappointed with Genshin Impact, but it remains to be seen whether it will succeed in demonstrating a follow-up as exemplary as that of HoYoverse productions.- Jeuxvideo.com

As expected, Paper Mario: The Millennium Door HD follows the same path as the original 2004 version. This remastered version maintains the excellence of its pen with a cast of characters each as striking as the next with a combat system that has already proven itself. The modernized artistic direction works wonders, both visually and aurally. But form is not everything. The structure of the game can quickly weigh on anyone who is allergic to the multiple forced back and forth, especially since the features to relieve this archaic architecture are too little impactful to relieve its heaviness. In short, Paper Mario: The Millennium Door HD remains the best way to discover the best of Mario RPGs when it is released on May 23, 2024 on Nintendo Switch. But we must keep in mind that it also risks tarnishing the wonderful memories that some people have of it.- Jeuxvideo.com

Dim the lights, turn up the volume and put out the candles. Senua's Saga: Hellblade II succeeds in its crazy bet of being the “next-gen” visual slap in the face so much hoped for, even if the traces left by its hand bear the marks of the 100% narrative game of 2017 with simplistic gameplay and online exploration RIGHT. More condensed, more brutal too, the creation of Ninja Theory ultimately changes little from the original formula but strengthens all its cogs to the point of making it a beautiful war machine. If you are a Game Pass subscriber, give it a try, you should have a great time.- Jeuxvideo.com
