Jul 15, 2024I can only recommend this game for its approach to Japanese culture in a fun way, allowing you to learn a little more about it. In addition, its varied gameplay combines elements of tower defense, strategy, unit management and RPG overtones in a unique and fascinating way. Without a doubt, one of the great surprises of the year.

Jul 15, 2024Capcom has succeeded in revitalising the tower defense genre in a surprising way thanks to the setting with Japanese mythology and lots of variety. Thanks to the many upgrades, different unit and monster types, a satisfying progression system and great boss battles, I spent many hours mesmerised by the extremely atmospheric campaign. The reward after battles is that I experience scenes of peace and harmony afterwards. In this way, the game even conveys something of the Japanese philosophy of life. And what tower defense game can you say that about?

Jul 15, 2024Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is the guarantee of discovering an original game wrapped in a particularly stylish universe. We like the idea of integrating traditional dances into a world of Japanese folklore which mixes with very elegant choreography and a particularly pleasant bestiary to discover. The game reserves some good surprises to renew a gameplay loop that maintains the same structure from start to finish, missing the boat in some of its aspects, such as balancing and the progression of the main character. Kunitsu-Gami finally proves to be rather clever in its strategic proposal, with its different systems, its day/night cycle and its limited resources. An experience that will fill your summer for a good twenty hours.
