May 28, 2024Here I was thinking Codemasters couldn't possibly top F1 23, and then the studio goes ahead and drops this little beauty. EA Sports F1 24 is stuffed to the sidepods with content, but it's the impressive handling model that sets it apart – this is easily the most unadulterated fun I've had playing an F1 game. Dynamic Handling is a good thing, then.

May 30, 2024I have no doubt that Formula 1 fans will quickly find a home in the title, although I think the jump between the previous installment and this one is not significant enough to justify a purchase if you are not a die-hard fan of the category, Now, if you haven't played a title in the series for a while, there is no reason to hesitate in jumping headlong into this game.

May 31, 2024F1 24 gives fans of cool dad energy another superbly polished racer to indulge in for the upcoming season of loud car driving. The new "dynamic handling" system makes things feel nicer whilst using a gamepad, and Challenge Career feels like a genuinely great addition that we'll continue to play over the year. It looks and sounds as good as ever, there's plenty of fun to be had in co-op and online modes, and if you dig deep you'll find a fiendishly exciting and incredibly fast racer that can test your skills to the max if you let it - whilst remaining welcoming for newbies who need to tone things down a bit. That's pretty much all we could have asked for.

Jun 24, 2024If you are looking for some brilliant F1 seat-of-your-pants racing, then by all means jump behind the wheel of F1 24. Don't expect too much excitement away from the racing, as the omission of a story mode is a real whack. And certainly don't pin all your hopes on the smallest of new features and this year's buzzwords. Join for the racing, and enjoy what is provided from there on out.

May 28, 2024EA Sports F1 24 can be defined as a missed opportunity to do something really new. Although good work has been done to introduce new features in the game modes and some graphic aspects have been updated, the mismatches with the driving make the game feel like a somewhat cowardly bet, that takes advantage of the strength of the license. The experience is very reasonable and very exciting, so if some things are adjusted and this missed opportunity is ignored, it remains a very strong game to delight the fans of Formula 1.

Jul 18, 2024F1 24 doesn't bring any major changes compared to its predecessor, but it does deliver some good additions to the game's well-known modes. The revamp of the career mode, allowing players to assume the identity of a real Formula 1 driver, was a great move by EA and Codemasters, but some problems with the car's steering can affect the experience in the very first races. In short, if you have F1 23, it may not be worth switching to the new full-price entry if you don't want the career mode with real drivers.

May 28, 2024The Career Mode revamp is a breath of fresh air, but F1 24 still feels stale.
