Sep 5, 2024If you're searching for a new gaming experience emphasizing teamwork and offering innovative game mechanics, highly responsive controls, and outstanding sound design, then Concord is the perfect choice for you. Despite encountering some negative feedback, Concord stands out as an excellent option for replacing other games, including hero shooters, extraction shooters, and battle royales. Additionally, Concord offers a refreshing change by steering clear of overly aggressive microtransactions.

Aug 23, 2024At the risk of disappointing its detractors, Concord is a very good hero shooter that could very well overshadow the big names in the genre, if a community of players takes it that far. Firewalk's service game is based on solid arguments: great shooting sensations, 16 varied and perfectly oiled heroes, impeccable technique and artistic direction and even attractive tactical perspectives. As it stands, we just regret overly classic game modes as well as a universe that would have deserved a more important place within the experience... Two points that are not set in stone and that will most certainly improve with future updates (all free, there is no season pass or battle pass, let us remind you). A very good choice. We loved it.

Aug 30, 2024It is a quality title under the auspices of Sony. A precise and technically flawless affair that lacks ingredients such as distinctive distinctive content and understanding the market's needs.
-
Aug 26, 2024Sadly, Concord struggles to find its own identity given the overused sci-fi setting and the overdone gameplay structure.
-
Aug 29, 2024Concord is not a bad hero shooter, but neither a good one. It has really nothing special to offer in relation to other game of the same genre that are free to play, and it lacks of a distinctive characteristic. The lore is not original, the characters are not memorable, the shooting is not very good and the gameplay modes are few and old.

Sep 3, 2024There is certainly a joke to be made about Concord and sour grapes, a little less than a week after launch my wait times for a match were at 2-4 mins and this was Friday and Saturday nights, which I thought was when people were gaming. This doesn’t bode well for the future of Concord, despite the fact that the team has new Freegunners, maps and modes in the development pipeline. Of all the errors I think this game has made with its release, the most egregious is the $40 price tag. In a time where the majority of hero shooters are F2P, even the upcoming Marvel Rivals is promising all characters will be free at launch and in the future; hell, even the KING – Overwatch 2 is free-to-play. So why, on God’s good green earth, did Sony think they could ship this game at $40 and find success? I don’t know, I am just a guy who reviews games; that question is for other minds, but as far as Concord goes, just wait for it to inevitably go free-to-play if you are truly curious.

Aug 26, 2024Fitting in everywhere is hard and Concord is living proof that a paid 5v5 is more dangerous than a free one. It include copied game features, irrelevant forced inclusion, and an exhausting learning curve; the only saving grace is that it has good PC optimization and acceptable graphics.
