1 vs 100: Season 3October 13, 2006Welcome to the 1 vs. 100 guide at TV.com!1 vs. 100, hosted by Bob Saget (Full House, The Aristocrats), finds ordinary people competing against a Mob of 100. Some of the 100 are ordinary folks, just like them, but the Mob also contains some of the best and the brightest. At any given time, the Mob may consist of brain surgeons, Ivy League scholars, past game show champions and other extremely smart individuals. Big-name celebrities are also often seen within the Mob, including such talent as poker superstar Annie Duke, Ken Jennings, Todd Bridges, comedian and The lone contestant faces a series of multiple-choice questions, increasing in value after the first few. The prize money won is based directly on members of the Mob that are eliminated from the game as they answer questions incorrectly. After all Mob members are given a few seconds to lock in their answer, the contestant is then given the opportunity to consider the question and then answer. If at any time the lone contestant answers incorrectly, he or she is out of the game and the members of the Mob split the prize money that had been earned up to that point. In order to have a shot at winning the most money, the lone contestant is given three "helps." The contestant can "Trust the Mob," which locks them into the most popular answer chosen by the Mob. A contestant may also choose to "Poll the Mob," in which case the contestant selects one of the answer choices and then finds out how many members of the Mob locked in with that answer. Finally, the contestant is allowed to "Ask the Mob." Two members of the Mob are randomly selected and each speaks about why they chose the answer that they did. The selected members must be honest about the answer they chose, but are allowed to lie about why they chose it.1 vs. 100 originates from Holland and the concept has proven successful throughout Europe. The United States version is brought to you by many of the same team involved with the production of the popular Deal or No Deal.

30 Rock: Season 5September 23, 2010Dealing with life in a studio at NBC's 30 Rockefeller Plaza (the title is a shortening of that), the show centers around Liz Lemon, played by Saturday Night Live's Tina Fey, who's the head writer of The Girlie Show. When her old boss dies and a new boss comes in (Alec Baldwin as Jack Donaghy), demanding the addition of a volatile former movie star (and re-branding the show TGS with Tracy Jordan in the process), Liz must figure out how to keep things running smoothly without losing her mind. Jane Krakowski plays Liz's friend Jenna Maroney, the former headlining star who's all too aware her time to rely on her look is running out. Tracy Morgan plays Tracy Jordan, and out-of-control comedy star whose movie career vanished. Scott Adsit plays producer (and Liz's confidant) Pete Hornberger. Judah Freidlander is writer Frank Rossitano, a slovenly man who's into porn and comic books. Jack McBrayer plays NBC page Kenneth Parcell, a naive Georgia man who seems to always let NYC get the best of him.

3rd Rock from the Sun: Season 3September 24, 1997"As many intelligent people know, aliens are all around us. This is a story of a band of four such explorers. In order to blend in, they have assumed human form. This is the High Commander [Dick]. He has assembled an elite team of experts: A decorated military officer [Sally], a seasoned intelligence specialist [Tommy] and [Harry], well, they had an extra seat."3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN is an inspired half-hour comedy series farcically dealing with the human condition set in the fictional city of Rutherford, Ohio. This gentle-hearted series stars John Lithgow as the High Commander of an investigative team sent to Earth on a mission to learn everything about humans and their so-called advanced civilization. Described by its producers as "Carl Sagan meets the Marx Brothers," 3RD ROCK has a clever, distinct point of view seen through the extraterrestrial team who has no other worldly powers except absolute truthfulness. Dick (John Lithgow, Don Quixote), Harry (French Stewart, Love Stinks), Sally (Kristen Johnston, Austin Powers) And Tommy (Joseph Gordon-Levitt, 10 thing I Hate About You), arrive in our world completely innocent, while equipped with superior intelligence to analyze every experience. This bizarre vantage point of an innocent seeing everything for the first time is the comic framework from which to satire the human condition and American society, to look at all of the injustices and absurdities and humorously point them out to us. 3RD ROCK cuts through our taboos and traditions with a childlike inquisitive logic and an impeccably paced humorous twist. We the viewers see ourselves in 3RD ROCK, and we see ourselves as the aliens. The humor of 3RD ROCK is always twisting the viewpoint to show the angle of an outsider looking in. 3RD ROCK which we know as Earth is the way travellers would look at the world - an insignificant blue speck that is The 3rd Rock from the Sun.Reruns were last seen on ABC Family on April 15, 2005 at 9:00am ET with the episode "The Big Giant Head Returns Again, Part 1" and may return at some other time. 7th Heaven: Season 6September 24, 2001Protestant minister Eric Camden and his wife Annie have always had their hands full caring for seven children, not to mention the friends, sweethearts, spouses, and other visitors that continually come and go in their home. When the series premiered in 1996, Eric and Annie were young parents with three teenagers, one middle-schooler, and a pre-kindergartner. Then, when an unexpected pregnancy hit the Camdens at the end of Season 2, the birth of their twin boys brought the total number of offspring to seven. Eleven full years of "7th Heaven" gave audiences the opportunity to follow this fictional television family through various seasons of life: adolescence, marriage, parenthood, and all the good and bad decisions that come in-between. Over a decade of filming meant that the characters grew and changed tremendously over time, but from the pilot episode to the series finale, one thing remained constant: they were a tight-knit, loving, and generous family that strived to practice their Christian values both inside and outside the home.

8 Simple Rules: Season 2September 23, 2003Based on the book by W. Bruce Cameron, this ABC family comedy originally starred John Ritter and Katey Sagal as the parents of three kids: the beautiful but dim-witted teen Bridget (Kaley Cuoco), her younger sister Kerry (Amy Davidson), who is smart but naive, and their kid brother Rory (Martin Spanjers), who prefers to get his sisters in trouble. Ritter died shortly into this second season; after a hiatus, he was replaced by James Garner and David Spade, who became regulars for the remainder of the series.

Ally McBeal: Season 2September 14, 1998FOX's hit dramatic and humorous show tells the story of the trials and tribulations of a 28-year-old lawyer by the name of Ally McBeal (Calista Flockhart), who is just fresh out of Harvard Law School. Ally was harassed at the firm where she was originally working, and when she told the firm's partners, she ended up losing her job. However, she then runs into an old friend and he offers her a new job at his brand new firm where she meets tons of new people and her old boyfriend, Billy with who she'll lead her new life full of cases and Ally's fantasies.Once the darling of the network, rumors of anorexia plagued star Calista Flockhart. The second and third seasons, therefore, introduced more and more eccentric characters who were given essentially "nothing" to do, and original seriesa regulars Gil Bellows and Courtney Thorne-Smith both left to pursue other projects.Ally McBeal was revitalized in its fourth season with the addition of Robert Downey Jr. as the lead character's love interest, Larry Paul. However, Downey's personal problems and numerous arrests, eventually wore out Kelley's patience and he was dropped. Lisa Nicole Carson, who played Ally's roommate, also left at the end of the fourth season following a brief stint in an institution and admitted problems with substance abuse.Without Downey, the fifth season had floundered more than ever; bringing in Jon Bon Jovi as a love interest, and giving Ally a daughter played by Hayden Panettiere) hadn't helped. Lucy Liu's character was dropped to a recurring role, while James LeGros left. James Marsden and Julianne Nicholson were added to the cast, only to be dropped a few weeks later. David E. Kelley decided then to cancel the show instead of having FOX executives do it for him.Awards/Nominations:EMMY AWARDS:> 1998 - Nominated - Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series [David E.
