With higher stakes and much more intriguing games and characters, Season 2 of Alice in Borderland is a thrilling ride that’s never boring.

Alice in Borderland is bloody, violent, and sometimes stingy with narrative facts. But it revels in making or breaking the rules it’s created for its topsyturvy world, and the core characters are compelling and fully rendered.

Season 2 gets way more complex than season 1 but at the same time slower and thicker.

The games are still great and interesting although some of them are just shown in flashes to rush the plot and take us to a unsavory ending.

Some caracters seem to be super human surviving getting shot or stabbed like nothing happened.

The plot is still intriguing and keeps us interested in knowing what is going on. Episodes 1 and 8 are extremely slow and dense which might make some fall asleep. The rest of the episodes and some final bosses are well written and even better acted. In general terms, a good season which could have easily made two seasons more with the material they compressed in 8 episodes. I liked season 2 but still believe season 1 was way better.
