    Not only does it not come close to season 1 in terms of entertainment value, the games also feel more repetitive and underwhelming this time around. The character shields are more noticeable than ever.

    Alice in Borderland is bloody, violent, and sometimes stingy with narrative facts. But it revels in making or breaking the rules it’s created for its topsyturvy world, and the core characters are compelling and fully rendered.
