“All Creatures Great and Small” isn’t driven by plots, really, but still, it’s a pleasure to see them unfold in their own gradual and bittersweet ways. .... Even without a pandemic, it’s just what the doctor ordered.

There was no Tristan as All Creatures Great and Small returned for series four, so humour levels were depleted. .... Mostly the tone was sombre as James (Nicholas Ralph) tried to help the poorly dog of the impoverished boy Wesley Binks.
