As has always been the case with Alias there are plenty of superbly directed action sequences and all manner of plot twists to keep fans entertained throughout the twenty-two episodes on offer in this Fourth Season. Unfortunately, the large number of stand-alone episodes in the first half of the season robbed the show of some of its urgency, and the increasingly unrealistic nature often became a bit of a distraction.
