    The series still makes wonderful use of clean, empty spaces by giving them a foreboding air. Combine this with the evocative music of Yutaka Yamada, pulsing and urgent all at once, and we felt re-immersed in the world the series imagines before we even re-entered the world it imagines.

    if you loved seasons 1 and 2, then go right ahead and lose yourself in Arisu and Usagi’s adventure as they once again fight for their lives. The games themselves continue to be deadly and inventive, packing an emotion gut punch when you least expect it.

    Season 3 is a success, and after a finale tease, I would gladly take Alice in Borderland season 4 or any spinoffs.
