Nov 5, 2014Very enjoyable and entertaining season which just got better by the end of it. Some over the top acting and plot lines here and there, but nothing major. Loved that they focused on the stories of the aides, family members as well. While the creators approach definitely changed, I found myself burning through the episodes quicker than in S1.

Dec 19, 2014It's a cute comedy that takes a look at lives of politicians in Washington D.C. and the people around them. I also like the lesbian scenes that's sprinkled in, since it represents lesbianism in a true light.

The show is packed with potential: a talented cast augmented by a deep bench of guest stars, a creator--“Doonesbury” author Garry Trudeau--well versed in political satire, and no shortage of material begging to be plucked from the real world. Despite all this, Alpha House still manages to fall flat.
-
Trudeau and his team continue to deliver a show that, while perhaps not the out-and-out smartest scripted inside-the-Beltway series around, qualifies at the very least for the runoff.

Although topicality trips up some of the jokes, others are spot-on.
