Suffice to say that by the time the end credits rolled my jaw was on the floor. The plot is inordinately gripping, and there is something almost Shakespearean about its engineering; Nic and Alex’s affair sparks a domino effect of awful events that feel inevitable and unstoppable.

You will be richly rewarded. If, that is, you like dark, dark comedy, weird idiosyncrasy and a scalpel-sharp script that is prepared to go to places that others don’t.
-
Any changes to the formula aside, it's hard to see many fans of season 1 not enjoying this new run. Once the highly visible plot mechanics of the first episode are out of the way, in many ways it's like we never left these characters. They're funnier than when we last saw them.

Am I Being Unreasonable? continues to be one of the darkest of dark comedies out there, though there may not be as many twists and turns as the first season had.
-
This series falters, but never loses the sense of what makes it so remarkable.

Storylines that should naturally conclude are drawn out, leaving me with questions. While it doesn’t reach the heights of the first series, the return of Am I Being Unreasonable? is just tantalising enough to ensure I’ll be tuning in for the third instalment.
