Resident Evil 5 is “only” an amazing game, a label that 90% of the third person shooters would want for themselves. The cooperative mode is just sensational and the story mode is filled with non-stop action. Ensemble Studios achieves which is, probably, the best strategy game in consoles. The fact that Halo Wars had a Xbox 360 only development makes the usual RTS standards shine with a pad for the first time. An interesting campaign with the always exciting cooperative guarantees a long life for this game, but the reception of the skirmishes is the real fact to determinate if Halo Wars will be ranked in the tops of the most played games in Xbox Live.- 3DJuegos

As the first next-gen entry of a long-lasting baseball franchise, which has set the bar so high over the last few years, MLB The Show 21 constitutes a bit of disappointment. Beyond the stadium creator, the game’s contribution towards modes and presentation is minor, not to mention a few irritating problems on the online front of the experience. Divisive as it might be, Marathon is an incredibly polished product that ultimately brings the genre into maturity thanks to its ideally sized maps, flexible matchmaking, deep and satisfying combat and (perhaps most importantly) rich endgame system full of both short term and long term goals for the whole season. Necromunda: Hired Gun is a very fun game. However, it is a minor experience within the catalog of first-person shooter titles. It lacks depth in many of its sections and under-uses some resources available to it, such as the mastiff. However, its artistic design in scenarios and enemy units attracts a lot of attention, and it is a pleasure to play it on PC with excellent performance thanks to NVIDIA's DLSS 2.0. It may be an option to consider although not as a priority.- 3DJuegos

Expeditions: Rome has absolutely everything a good RPG needs to succeed. His narrative, rhythmic and interesting as if it were the best Rome’s Empire novel, immerses you fully in his story. Thanks to the system of morality of our companions and their different paths to travel, every decision matters. Turn-based combat is vibrant, vertical, and challenging, while camp and resource management, as well as the crafting system for new equipment, ensure that time flies. As the only 'but', it would have been appreciated if the battles with the legion were somewhat less predictable. An excellent game for RPG and History lovers. [Recommended]- 3DJuegos

Greedfall: The Dying World is one of those games that demands patience and a lot of willpower on your part. Spiders has tried to bite off more than they could chew, creating a title with an incredibly slow start and tactical combat that never quite clicked with me. I miss the 'immersive sim' identity of the first game; here, they’ve opted for something more conventional, coupled with optimization issues and bugs that can really break the immersion. Yet, despite all that, I can't deny that the world is well-built. It has that classic RPG charm, reminiscent of Dragon Age: Origins, where you can get lost in its cities, talk to your companions, and soak in its political nuances.- 3DJuegos

Metro: Exodus PC Enhanced Edition is, without any doubt, the version you have to get if you get to this installment for the first time. Incorporating ray tracing, the DLSS 2.0, the ability to play 4K and extreme graphics options are a huge added that make it seem like the game has just been launched to the market. In addition, the presence in this edition of the two downloadable expansions of the game make this a complete edition that you should not miss. [Recommended]- 3DJuegos

Darwin's Paradox is one of those games that, without reinventing the wheel, knows exactly how to play its cards right. The platforming manages to be challenging without feeling suffocating, the puzzles are simple enough that you never get frustrated, and even exploring the world for collectibles takes both the jumping and the puzzles a step further than what you typically experience throughout the rest of the adventure. Super Meat Boy 3D is surprisingly consistent with the 2010 release, with the leap to 3D being its major new feature. While this causes it to lose some of its original brilliance, it still delivers a solid experience. The control precision is insane, the levels are incredibly varied, and it still manages to make us die 100 times without feeling frustrated. Some levels suffer from camera issues and the final stretch might be less engaging, but even so, it’s one of the best platformers I’ve played in a long time. [Recommended]- 3DJuegos

Legend of Mana will appeal to lovers of the classic RPG, the combats remain as they were and this is something as good as bad according to the eyes of those who look at it. The musical instrument creation system and monster hunting are very entertaining. However, its narrative is too messy, the artifact system can make you take more than one unnecessary lap, and its story ends up paying for it in terms of intensity and pace. Despite having a good number of improvements in the quality of life for the user such as quick saves or deactivating the combats, as a remaster it falls short compared to other works done with the saga.- 3DJuegos

Legacy of Kain: Ascendance is a strange game that, honestly, I’ll remember more for its controversial story than for what it brought to the table in terms of gameplay. It’s clear the title serves as a bridge to try and revive the franchise, and adapting the events of the Dead Shall Rise comic is an interesting choice to explore Raziel's long-awaited vampiric past. However, as a game, it feels underwhelming. It features a 2D action-platforming mix that is far too simple and suffers from repetitive environments, even with the addition of three playable characters. It’s not a bad game, but it reminds me of those classic 90s movie tie-ins: attractive because of the license, but lacking any real inspiration in their design.- 3DJuegos

Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood fails to adapt his work to the video game as it would have been desirable. It is a title that to some extent is enjoyable and its limited duration of no more than 8-10 hours is a good endorsement if you are interested in giving it a try. However, you should not expect too much from its stealth system, the enemy AI is too scarce and the combats end up being repetitive and not very precise in its execution. On the positive side, I am left with the transformations in lupus or Crinos, especially the latter, as well as with the moments in which the program seems to want to do something different. I think that the lack of definition due to a specific style of play is what has ended up weighing down a title than I expected a bit more. [Not recommended]- 3DJuegos

Destruction AllStars is a fun title that bets on chaos and destruction in a casual fast-paced bet. Its use of the DualSense gives a good clue of what is to come in the future on the platform and has a good grid in which to lose yourself trying possibilities and finding the heroes with whom you feel more comfortable. However, their proposal is limited and it may be that after a while there will not be too many incentives to stay in the game. I would have liked to see more synergies between the skills of drivers and cars, I think the team component loses a bit of meaning within the framework of a game like this. As a final consideration we must bear in mind that, due to its characteristics, it is a game that can be expanded and improved in the future, so we must be attentive to its progression and acceptance within the player community.- 3DJuegos

Honestly, I don't fully understand what the developers of 1348 Ex Voto were trying to achieve with their game. It seems more concerned with telling a story—one that ultimately doesn't work—than with creating a fun game. Visually, it's very well done, but the numerous minor graphical glitches, its dizzying camera work, and its clunky, unpolished gameplay mean it doesn't stand out in that regard either. The progression systems are mere window dressing with minimal impact on gameplay, and its length is excessively short, even for the genre it belongs to. Except for the most curious, it’s not a game worthy of much attention. [No recommended]- 3DJuegos

Wreckreation tries to capture the Burnout spirit with a sandbox twist where you can reshape the world as you drive. Persona 5 Strikers takes the turn-based combat out of the equation while retaining most of the other JRPG aspects of the previous game, and adding a real-time battle system more akin to an Action-RPG than most Omega Force titles. It looks like Persona 5, and more importantly, it feels like Persona 5. The dungeons and the general structure have some pacing issues, and the story is not quite as good as in the original game, but nevertheless, this is a great farewell to the Phantom Thieves. The return to the origins of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 does not fully meet expectations on all levels, but where it does, it proves to be an absolute genius that is hard to put down. With a campaign whose pace falters too often and zombies that are as valid as they are uninspired, the multiplayer ends up saving the day. Not only is there nothing to criticize about it, but it also manages to transport us back to the time when Call of Duty was the absolute king in this segment.[Recommended]- 3DJuegos

Sucker Punch has perfectly understood what it means to make a sequel: not to expand for the sake of expanding, but rather to take a step forward in what the Ghost franchise needed. It's still a game where feeling like a samurai is at the heart of everything, where walking through open fields with the wind hitting your face is almost as important as wielding a katana, but now it's accompanied by a more personal and human narrative. I've encountered characters that matter, moments that matter, and combat that, while familiar, gains freshness thanks to the variety of weapons and a more self-aware design. It may not be as visually striking as Tsushima, but there's no doubt that it's still a pictorial marvel. Not all of the side content is interesting, but there's been a noticeable improvement, especially in the character, master, and legend quests. And yes, it's another revenge story, but Atsu manages to make the journey worthwhile. [Recommended]- 3DJuegos

Monster Hunter Wilds delivers superb action, customization, visuals and cutscenes and is certainly still king of its kind. It might however not please you if you're looking for an old-school hunting experience as this game leans much more into the newcomer side of the audience. Disciples: Liberation is a tactical RPG in which you will have to make many decisions that will lead to different endings. However, and despite being a very complete game in terms of mechanics and details, with a good number of dialogue options, its long duration ends up taking its toll. The overexposure of its mechanics of alliances with the different factions of the game and, above all, the little challenge that its fights end up supplying as soon as you focus on doing something other than its main campaign, weigh down too much the experience of a title that goes from more or less. It would be a total recommendation if they had focused more on creating a tactical challenge to match and less on filling in hours of gameplay in missions that often appear little contextualized for what CRPG lovers demand.- 3DJuegos
