Join an online club to push and shove your way up the ranks

Band together with up to 20 strikers online* and compete against other clubs for points. Find the right club for you, team up with friends, and bring your own striker style to the table. Strive to become the world’s top club each season!

Pummel the pitch with up to 8 players

8 players can go for the goal on one Nintendo Switch system, with local wireless**, or online*. Bring along a secondary striker on the same system in online battles, too. Locally, 4 players on each team can go cleat-to-cleat in individual matches.

It’s nowhere near as complex as Fifa, none of it is, but this game knows its strength is in the moment-to-moment arcade action and really wants you involved in that as much as possible with little distraction. For footie fans, this is a bit of a no-brainer. It’s very much a crazy Nintendo version of that sport.

With such solid and explosive gameplay, Mario Strikers: Battle League Football represents a decisive step forward for the franchise.

I was really looking forward to Mario Strikers: Battle League, and for the most part it has been a worthy successor, but it’s a little hampered by the complexity of the gameplay. Even scoring goals can be a bit difficult overall. Soccer is definitely not known for high-scoring affairs but it is simply too difficult to score goals in the time allotted. This does seem to be different from what I remember in the previous games. It was a bit easier to score goals and that is definitely missed. There’s a balance that sports games need to strike, but Battle League does tend to be just a bit more difficult. Still, there is a lot to love about Mario Strikers: Battle League, but it almost made me want a remaster of the first two games more than anything.

Mario Strikers Battle League is a lot of fun, but unless you commit to online play, it’s here for a good — but brief — time.

Mario Strikers Battle League is a worthy entry in an excellent series that takes the best aspects of the previous games and hones them to multiplayer perfection.

With a fiendishly fun formula, a production with the greatest of care, and more technical matches, Mario Strikers Battle League is the perfect game for intense parties with friends. Fun times, and mocking around between friends are guaranteed.

Mario Strikers: Battle League's hectic gameplay remains as fun as it was 15 years prior, however, its barebones package does very little else to justify its return, ultimately being another blight on the Mario sports catalogue for Switch.

You can fly through the all of the cups inThis gameplay is fun and the graphics and animations are well done, that is all this game has. You can fly through the all of the cups in about an hour against near brain dead cpu opponents and with lack of club play from 4 separate switches this game is not worth 60, it would be hard to justify spending 15 dollars on this game. I don’t understand how Nintendo fanboys justify this games mistakes unless they love replaying the same basic gameplay over and over. Super rush had a lot of hate from people, but at least it allowed you to play with friends the way they marketed the game. Probably the most disappointing game I have ever bought day 1, many mobile games and free games on steam have more content. Expand

Iam very sad and I would not recommend to purchase this game for the full price, this game is never more than 20 bucks worth
