Free of challenge and peril, Moomintroll: Winter's Warmth is a cosy hug of a game; the type of thing you play when you need to destress and escape into a new world. Whether or not you're an existing Moomin fan, you can enjoy this wonderful adventure, filled with quests, exploration and collecting. A truly beautiful game no matter your age.

Moomintroll: Winter's Warmth is an adorable and nostalgic tale of how unforgiving deep winter can be but how with friends, you can make the most of it until spring comes around.

A magical and charming adventure into a Moominvalley transformed by the elements, Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth puts Moomin at the fore in a whimsical story that always respects its source material. Subtle realignment of gameplay to suit Moomin and a continuation of every good aspect of its predecessor makes this wholesome treat of a game a wonderful cure for winter melancholy.

Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth is a lovely game. There are some fun quests to undertake in locations that have been designed well, with the added bonus of cutting paths through the snow.

Winter’s Warmth has this love/hate relationship with snow. It’s the cause of most of Moomins’ problems but also a delight to behold and play with. The game may melt your heart a little even as you pick up that shovel to clear yet another drift blocking your way.

It's a Moomintrolls, so you'll find soothing music and a charming style. Younger players should be captivated, but older ones will find it repetitive. Winter is an excuse to create a repetitive world, and loading times should be shorter — those map portions are quite small.
