Spectacle: Elvis Costello With...: Season 2
December 9, 2009
Spectacle: Elvis Costello With... fuses the best elements of talk radio and music television, inviting viewers to enjoy rare musical performances and intimate conversations between the award-winning host and his iconic guests - each of whom is an influential figure from the world of music, politics or film. Explaining his approach, Elvis said, "I'm not interested in extracting some dark secret. I'd rather hear about a bright secret, a deep love or a curiosity that might be otherwise obscured by fame. This is a wonderful opportunity to talk in complete thoughts about music, movies, art or even vaudeville - then frame it with unique and illustrative performances."
Guest artists, who run the gamut from legendary performers to notable newcomers, demonstrate the development and creation of their music - often by playing new, stripped-down, acoustic, impromptu or solo versions of some of their best and most popular songs. Elvis and The Imposters perform interpretations of songs either by or associated with the featured guests. In addition, the show features extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime musical collaborations.
Spectacle airs on the Sundance Channel in the U.S., Channel 4 in the U.K. and CTV & Bravo in Canada. Elsewhere, FremantleMedia distributes the show worldwide. In addition, Season 1 of Spectacle is now available on iTunes and a DVD/Blu-ray box set was released throughout North America on November 17, 2009. The show is recorded before a live audience at Harlem's world famous Apollo Theater in New York City and Toronto's historic Masonic Temple.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Season 2
November 2, 2000
How many sponges do you know who get their own hit cartoon series? The list may be limited, but SpongeBob stands out from the rest. Relentlessly optimistic SpongeBob SquarePants lives in the undersea township of Bikini Bottom, along with an assortment of zany supporting characters. Among them is his best friend, the lovable - but dim - sea star named Patrick; the irritable perfectionist neighbor named Squidward; and an athletic squirrel named Sandy who lives in an undersea treedome. SpongeBob is employed as a fry cook at the local burger place, The Krusty Krab, which is operated by a penny-pinching crustacean named Mr. Krabs. SpongeBob was launched as three shorts on May 1, 1999. It became a series in the summer of 1999, and quickly became one of the highest-rated cartoons on television, eventually even surpassing Rugrats as Nickelodeon's most popular cartoon. The show has had a wide and loyal fan base. In fact, many celebrities are taken away by SpongeBob's antics!
Character Guide:
SpongeBob SquarePants - If you could describe SpongeBob with three words they would be naive, optimistic, and square. He never seems to know what is really going on. SpongeBob can never be bored because everything he does he uses his imagination. He works at the Krusty Krab, the home of the Krabby Patty, and is a fry-cook legend. His favorite thing to do (besides flip patties) is playing with his best friend, Patrick. His other friends are his neighbors Squidward and Sandy. He also lives in a pineapple!
Patrick Star - Patrick, a chubby pink starfish, is SpongeBob's best friend. They even joined the Best Friends Forever Club. Patrick always comes up with some crazy idea that SpongeBob performs. The failures may show that Patrick isn't the brightest creature in Bikini Bottom. In fact, he's far from it.
Squidward Tentacles - Squidward lives next door to SpongeBob and Patrick. All he wants is peace and quiet, but living with those two makes it hard. Squidward is always upset about everything (except when he plays his clarinet), which explains why he goes around being Mr. Grumpy. He lives in a house faced like himself, an octopus. He works as a cashier at the Krusty Krab, and, unlike SpongeBob, he hates his job. He would like to become famous and rich.
Sandy Cheeks - Sandy, a brown squirrel who normally wears a spacesuit, lives in an air bubble and is one mad, crazy girl from Texas! She's really good in karate and is the strongest character in Bikini Bottom, so NEVER insult Texas while around her, or she'll fix you real nice. She loves science, too!
Mr. Eugene H. Krabs - Mr. Krabs is SpongeBob and Squidward's money hungry boss at the Krusty Krab. He really does love his customers and employees a lot (probably for their money), but he'll do anything to get a few dollars, or even a dime! His hobbies include counting money and saying "Argh!" He also has a crush on Mrs. Puff.
Gary The Snail - Gary is a snail, but meows like a cat, and he is SpongeBob's bright and faithful pet companion. He's always guiding SpongeBob and directing SB in the right path.
Sheldon J. Plankton - Plankton is the main villain of the show. He's in competition with Mr. Krabs with his own restaurant, the Chum Bucket, but his restaurant never gets many people. He's always coming up with plans to steal the Krabby Patty Formula. But, his college educated plans never work.
Larry the Lobster - A buff, sporty lobster. He's always at Goo Lagoon, Bikini Bottom's underwater "beach", and even serves as a Lifeguard there.
Mrs. Poppy Puff - Mrs. Puff is SpongeBob's Boating School teacher. She is constantly getting hurt by SpongeBob's bad driving. She has given SpongeBob his boating test 1,258,123 times and SpongeBob has failed every one. She doesn't like to talk about Mr. Puff (he got turned into a lamp).
Pearl Krabs - Mr. Krabs' whiny teenage daughter who just happens to be a whale. Mr. Krabs loves Pearl more than anything (except maybe money).
Squilliam Fancyson - Squidward's rich, high school rival with one eyebrow. He's quite a snob as well, and loves to brag about his money.
Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy - Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy are SpongeBob and Patrick's favorite TV superheroes. After having a long-running show, they retired, but soon SpongeBob and Patrick got them back in the game. Mermaid Man is old and cant remember a lot and Barnacle Boy normally has to help him get around. They have appeared in six episodes so far, each named after them. And you can be sure that they'll be back for more.
The Dirty Bubble - An enemy of Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy. He is a giant dirty bubble and his weakness is sharp things. He has appeared in "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II" & "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V".
ManRay - An enemy of Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy. He was frozen in tartar sauce in MM + BB's lair and SpongeBob and Patrick freed him. Has appeared in "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy III" & "Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy V".
The Flying Dutchman - The ghost that haunts Bikini Bottom. He's really good at tying knots, except on shoelaces. He loves scaring people.
Theme Song:
Captain: Are ya ready kids?
Kids: Aye, aye, captain!
Captain: I can't hear you!
Kids: AYE, AYE, CAPTAIN!
Captain: Ohhh..... who lives in a pineapple under the sea?
Kids: SpongeBob SquarePants!
Captain: Absorbent and yellow and porous is he!
Kids: SpongeBob SquarePants!
Captain: If nautical nonsense be something you wish.
Kids: SpongeBob SquarePants!
Captain: Then drop on the deck, and flop like a fish!
Kids: SpongeBob SquarePants!
Captain: Ready?
Everyone: SpongeBob SquarePants! SpongeBob SquarePants! SpongeBob SquarePants!
Captain: SpongeBob... SquarePants! Ar ar ar ar ar ar ar!!

Sports Night: Season 2
October 5, 1999
Sports Night ran nearly two full seasons on the ABC network in the US during the '98-99 and '99-00 seasons. Created by Emmy Award winning writer/director, Aaron Sorkin. Sorkin created such movies as, A Few Good Men & The American President before his first venture into television (Sorkin would later create the massively respected & popular The West Wing). Smart, fast-paced, witty and featuring a fine ensemble cast, Sports Night struggled in the ratings from the start, particularly during its second season, when it was routinely pre-empted and moved from night to night. Art imitated life imitating art, as the show took on a consultant (William H. Macy in his first TV role since his stint on ER), was hired to "tweak" the ratings. The show within a show continued to falter, amidst rumors of the imminent sale of its network and the subsequent gutting of its staff, until it, like its parent Sports Night, simply disappeared from the schedule. Upon its cancellation, several networks, most notably HBO came to Sorkin for a possible move to the respected network, but nothing was ever solidified. Sports Night gained additional exposure through a subsequent syndication on Comedy Central.

Suddenly Susan: Season 2
September 22, 1997
Workplace situation comedy centered on the character of Susan, a "somewhat sheltered" magazine writer who has dumped her rich fiancé at the altar and must now cope with being suddenly single - complicated by the fact that her boss at hip San Francisco magazine The Gate is her ex's brother Jack. He has promoted her from copy editor to writer of a column on being single in the '90s, thus irritating her co-workers: caustic lifestyle columnist Vicki, Cuban playboy photographer Luis, and rock critic Todd (whose limited attention span after years of MTV necessitates his being celibate). Susan's main support is her loving grandmother Nana.
In highly publicized trouble before it ever aired, Suddenly Susan had to switch formats from a bookstore (shades of Ellen) to a magazine workplace setting - sort of Mary Richards going to work for Lou Grant at the Trib. Despite some bright writing and reasonably funny performances (especially from Brooke Shields, who got surprising mileage out of the problems inherent in being very tall and attractive), the show never quite jelled, perhaps because the characters were never even remotely credible as functioning journalists. Susan was put on hiatus to make room for NBC's retooling of The Naked Truth. It later returned to the NBC schedule in late February 1997 and subsequently did well enough to be renewed for the Fall 1997 television season.
In Germany the show is known simply as Susan.

Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as Dean and Sam Winchester, two brothers who travel the country looking for their missing father and battling evil spirits along the way.
Sam Winchester is a college student bound for law school, determined to escape his family's past - unlike his older brother, Dean. Ever since they were little their father has been consumed with an obsession to find the evil forces that murdered his beloved wife, in result recruiting and training his two young sons to help him in revenge. They have grown up as hunters of the supernatural. Sam escaped under the premise of going to college, and now has a happy life with his girlfriend, Jessica, and a promising future career. Dean, however, stayed behind with his father to join him in his "hunting".
Dean goes to Sam for help when their father goes missing. Now Sam must join his brother to find him. His one weekend trip to search for the missing John Winchester becomes an ongoing quest after a horrible tragedy ruins any thought of a happy life for Sam.
The two brothers, bound by tragedy and blood to their mission, travel across the country encountering terrifying and dangerous forces most believe to be nothing but superstition and folklore, such as the Lady in White, the Indian beast known as the Wendigo, Phantom Travelers who cause plane crashes, Bloody Mary, vampires, demons and many more.

Survivor: Season 22
February 16, 2011
The rules of Survivor are simple: average Americans are abandoned in the middle of some of the most unforgiving places on earth. Divided into teams, they participate in challenges given by host Jeff Probst, and every three days, the losing tribe must trek to Tribal Council to vote out one of their own. Halfway through the game, the challenges shift to individual competitions when the tribes merge and become one. Now the game is every contestant for themselves. The game is simple: Outwit, Outplay, Outlast, by winning immunity, thus not being eligible to have votes cast against yourself. However, the players must be careful about who they send packing - because after the merge, a jury of previously voted out contestants begins to form, and each week they return to watch the Tribal Council ceremony. At the end of the game, they vote for one of the members in the finals to win one million dollars and become the next Survivor!Generally, each season begins with a twist - something different to surprise the new castaways. Survivor is a game of adaptation, and the final two or three of each season are the players most able to adapt to their surroundings and to the people they are playing with. Survivor focuses on the people, and the social commentary that surrounds them. The game revolves around how these players can Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast.
