    Excellent. Aside from one bad story arc, the final season of The Clone Wars was a perfect conclusion to an incredible animated series.

    The middle 4 episodes are a bit of a drag, but the last 4 are top quality Star Wars.

    "The cavalry has arrived"

    Can't wait for the next episode... The first one was amazing. Storytelling, camera work (that one shot sequence was SICK!), effects - everything was on point!

    this season is horrible. boring story's, boring characters. if it wasn't for Anakin killing the spider guy, it'd get a zero. should have just left this cancelled. just sad.

    Ahsoka Tano is a Character that was placed in the Star Wars lore long after the first 3 movies were shot - but she was necessary to give Anakin a good explanation as to why he went against the Jedi Order. Her story was good. She left the order because they weren't the heroes they were    This score does not come with ease. It is hard. After careful consideration. Yet it is necessary.

    Ahsoka Tano is a Character that was placed in the Star Wars lore long after the first 3 movies were shot - but she was necessary to give Anakin a good explanation as to why he went against the Jedi Order. Her story was good. She left the order because they weren't the heroes they were supposed to be. Now what? Anakin has contact to the prime reason why he joined the dark side (the Padme storyline can only be sonsidered a joke, because FORCEHEAL - thats why, could have just asked Yoda to help some) - like 5 minutes before Order 66? This is a joke.

    I was stunned. I could not understand. Why ruin Ahsokas storyline? Then I saw an interview with the creator of this season:

    "We are not responsible for Anakins story, that was told in the Revenge of the Sith movie". Ah. Ok. So you are not responsible for the one Skywalker story to rule all of Star Wars. Srsly. F*** ***. Thank you for deliberately ruining Star Wars the Clone Wars.    … Expand

    The clone wars is back for it's final season and the animation quality has been upped so much it's not even real.

    The final season and it does not disappoint. We had to wait for 6 years for the conclusion and some of us even had given up hope. I say it is a remarkable strong ending to the show and it does tighten some lose ends. Again we got some multi episode story arcs that use its time for character development, bonding and to deliver awesome moments. I say it is a remarkable strong ending to the show and it does tighten some lose ends. Again we got some multi episode story arcs that use its time for character development, bonding and to deliver awesome moments. It has only 12 episodes but all do fully deliver. The introduced “Bad Batch” of clone soldiers are just amazing, the Rafa sisters show what life is for a non privileged citizen in the Star Wars galaxy, the Mandalore arc reaches its climax and of cause we got the conclusion to Ahsoka and Mauls arcs of the show. The final episode is breathtaking. It is set from shortly before Revenge of the Sith up to slightly after it including a certain event that changed galactic history. The focus is not on Revenge of the Sith as this is shown in the movie. Here we see glimpses and some additions to it but the stories are only slightly interwoven. I think I can recommend all episodes without a doubt as I find no weak link. Here is my reasoning: The first 4 episodes “The Bad Batch”, “A distant Echo”, “On the Wings of Keeradaks” and “Unfinished Business” deal with a menacing situation. The main Republic shipyard of Anaxes is attacked by the Separatists. Strangely they can outmaneuver each strategy from the Republic forces with ease and there is no leak or traitor. Anakin is set on a mission with the Bad Batch to get answers. Great characters, excellent story arc with good pacing, good twist, immersive battles and conclusion. The Bad Batch became easily fan favorites and we are hyped for their show Sidenote: The Bad Batch are a team of irregular clones. There were failures in the cloning process but these were actually good giving them special assets / abilities. Bad Batch is their humorous way in dealing with this. The next arc consisting of “Gone with a Trace”, “Deal no Deal”, “Dangerous Debt” and “Together Again” continue with Ahsoka’s story. She left the Jedi order and struggles what to to. She falls into a new adventure (literally and not literally at the same time;-). and meets the Rafa twins. She accompany them on a business mission that turns out far more interesting than imagined. Here I like the character interactions, development, moral dilemmas and cat and mouse games. While she is on this adventure she is spotted by Bo-Katan. This started the final arc consisting of “Old friends not Forgotten”, “The Phantom Apprentice”, Shattered” and “Victory and Death”. This deals with Mandalore, Maul and the events from Revenge of the Sith unfolding. It has epic battles, grim situations to face and a final that is sad, intense and awesome. A truly magnificent conclusion. I want to thank the whole team involved for the show. You have given us great experiences and much to discuss, enjoy and to revisit. This season gets a 10/10 without hesitation. Maybe even worth watching without the other seasons but less impactful.… Expand

    Flawlessly executed. A fantastic crescendo of a finish to the clone wars. The best post Disney Star Wars content to date along with Rogue One and Mandalorian.

    Wow.... This season of Star Wars is starting to turn into a big let down. The storyline so far is decent but the season is severely lacking in what made the previous seasons great. The PG-rating is really starting to hurt the show as it seems the combat and intensity of violence have been downgraded, regressing back to season 1 style of star wars the clone wars.     The long awaited conclusion to the much loved show The Clone Wars has finally been released and I... I have mixed feelings about it.
    The season is essentially split up into three individual story arcs, with the third being a late continuation of the second. The clone wars has been known for having some really diverse stories being told in said arcs, however in the past    Clone wars season 7:

    The season is essentially split up into three individual story arcs, with the third being a late continuation of the second. The clone wars has been known for having some really diverse stories being told in said arcs, however in the past each season has suffered from one or two vastly less interesting ones. The season has a very promising start, following Captain Rex and the newly introduced Bad Batch (an elite squad of clones) whilst they work to uncover the methods which the separatists are using against them. Whilst this arc starts off strong, it is needlessly overstretched in order to cover the span of four episodes. However the place most audiences have found fault is within episodes 4-8, which see the return of fan favorite character Ahsoka Tano. Unfortunately the four episodes that entail her return are less than stellar. We are quickly introduced to the Martez sisters, who are the central plot devices throughout the arc. It brings me no pleasure in saying it, but the arc is pretty awful. For starters, and this is obviously my opinion, but I found it to be extraordinarily tedious. The Martez sisters aren’t bad characters by any means, but neither of them are interesting enough for me to be invested in their journey. The plot is pretty lackluster and extremely predictable, but what’s worse is that by the end of it, Ahsoka ends up more or less where she started, making the whole thing meaningless. Maybe there was supposed to be some kind of character development going on, but it’s so minute that there is little to no point. Another thing that really annoys me are the events of episode 7, which involves (SPOILER ALERT) the three protagonists literally ending up in the exact same place as they started. This in my eyes literally makes the episode absolutely 100% worthless. Now that that’s out of the way it’s time to move on to the final arc of both the series and the season on the whole, and man they do not disappoint. The first half of it centers around the siege of Mandalore, in which Ahsoka and the 501st legion attempt to engage and capture Maul. I am and have always been a huge fan of Sam Witwer’s portrayal of the iconic villain, and throughout this season he is on top form, never failing to impress. For the inevitable duel between him and Ahsoka they used Ray Park (original Maul actor) to act out the extremely well choreographed battle, and it really shows. Of all the animated lightsaber duel this is by far the most convincing, and is amongst my favorites. We also get so many nostalgic interactions between Ahsoka and Rex, Obi Wan, and Anakin that are very much appreciated. The final act of the season is perhaps where it shines the most, as we finally see the events of Revenge of the Sith intertwined with the show in a glorious fashion. Granted they didn’t have to do much to simultaneously make me feel nostalgic and depressed, but they managed it all the same and I am grateful for it, and ultimately I think it was a very satisfying conclusion.    … Expand

On the other hand - modern Disney defiles everything that it touches, so perhaps it would be better if they didn’t touch it at all? Dave Filoni fell victim to censorship and the political agenda. The series is heavily cut, censored and changed from the original version (snippets of which we could see in "Legacy"). The first “jingle” that something is wrong was the change in the arch about the “Bad Batch” from which, for the sake of feminist movements, was removed a frame with a pin-up image of Padme, and was cut out the scene of the aborigine execution the by the separatists (plus a number of minor changes). But the next arch of Ahsoka’s journey suffered much more significant changes. From there, they simply cut out her potential romantic interest, replacing it with two stereotypical femminist-looking sisters who have nothing to do with the Star Wars. Ahsoka’s image has also undergone changes in favor of politics. No more tight-fitting outfits and graceful movements (as in animatics) - just baggy clothes and clumsy movements, because a female character should not be “deliberately sexualized” even if it is dictated by logic. Asoka’s character also became more arrogant and masterful, which we can see in the next and last arch. This metamorphosis does not make any sense at all, since it diverges from the image of Ahsoka in the 5th season and the image of Ahsoka from "Rebels". She began to turn into a kind of "Mary Sue", like a protagonist in Disney sequels. Now Ahsoka is openly rereading Obi-Wan and selfishly pushing her own line, even when the fate of the capital is at stake. It’s hard to say what Disney wanted to say by this. Obviously, this refers to the juxtaposition of the “wise and decisive” SJW community (represented by Ahsoka) to the “blind and ossified old patriarchal society” (represented by Obi-Wan). This is direct propaganda, as if in the 40s. Disney has perverted the very essence of Star Wars.
    4/10 for good graphics and undistorted parts of the original plots.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. If the whole season was just the final 4 episodes I would have given it a 10. Those 4 episodes are some of the best and most pure Star Wars I've ever experienced. The first 4 episodes of this season are good but nothing special especially not compared to what has come before within the series. The middle 4 episodes are what really hurt this season for me. I found the new characters uninteresting/annoying and the overall story pointless seeing as it all culminates with Ahsoka meeting a Mandalorian leading into the final arc.… Expand

    It's a true shame the series is over. It was really spectacular with Season 6: The Lost Missions ending it on a high note. Not a single episode is a disappointment. Some of the episodes in the Clovis arc are a bit of a drag but other than that, everything is simply amazing

    Up until the final few episodes this is rather a dull ride of a final season.
    I was never really sold on the show, but my 7 year old son thought it was great. Clearly I'm not the target audience.

    Perhaps owing to the nearly six-year gap between Seasons 6 and 7, this final lap is basically self-encapsulated and requires almost no effort to get up to speed (narrator extraordinaire Tom Kane will help with that part). ... Bottom line: If you loved The Mandalorian, you just might like Star Wars: Clone Wars.
