Aug 17, 2023With season 2, this also goes down the toilet. Shame, had a good start but seems like they just couldn't hold back with all the "modern" storytelling. If you ask me, all Hollywood writers currently in strike deserve to stay that way. If crap like this is what they produce on their workdays, they should stay the f out. Absolute garbage.

Aug 24, 2023Where are the men? Where are the male role models? Where is the action? Too much talk. I'm a chick but this is far below my standards for even chick flicks and female empowerment. It's trash. It's too political. What happened to caring about good writing?

Aug 24, 2023Total **** Far too much politics and too little fun. Kinda crazy how far Star Trek has descended from the 60s version, the first motion pictures, then the Picard era, then the crappy Jar Jar Abrahms era, then the superwoke Discovery, and now this crap.

Jul 24, 2023I had so much hope for Season 2. Season 1 was great, finally star trek like TOS and TNG used to be. Season 2 is a very mixed bag. Some episodes are ok, some are complete trash, and then there is the cross-over episode with Lower Decks ...

Jul 9, 2023This show is terrible. I'm on the 4th episode and Kurtzmann Trek is the worst Trek ever. How is it possible to fail upwards like this for anyone associated with Kurtzmann Trek?

Jun 18, 2023Wow couldn't even make it through the first episode without vomiting with all the same tropes, w0keness and weak evil men from season 1... I just want to watch space adventures, not have 2023 socio-political agendas and viewpoints constantly shoved down our throats.

Jun 17, 2023Somehow even worse than the first awful season. Whatever hope Trek fans had that Picard season 3 had somehow been a course change for Paramount+ has been extinguished; it’s back to the usual song and dance. All we can do is hope Paramount eventually loses so many viewers they’re forced to admit defeat, but knowing the culture in Hollywood, that won’t be until they’re bankrupt.

Jul 17, 2023The show is so much fun to watch. It is very similar to the original Star Trek. The casting is wonderful.

Aug 20, 2023The BEST of Star Trek together with DS9.

Jun 15, 2023Episode 1 was great. Exceeded expectations. Exciting, smart, edge of your seat stuff, with a lot of heart.
-
Jul 1, 2023it's cool, if you know and like star trek next generation, and voyager, or even enterprise. maybe a good thing that star trek returns after abrams to its roots, who knows.

Aug 3, 2023The most fun and creative star trek production I've seen. The writing is top notch, the characters are very well cast, the sets and effects look amazing and the way it's shot and edited is close to perfect. This show is no joke, season 1 was already really good but season 2 is flawless

Sep 10, 2023I enjoyed it. The crossover episode was done really well with the split of humour and seriousness.

Strange New Worlds Season 2’s premiere is exciting and emotional… once it figures out who it wants to be about.
-
All of the classic “Trek” series that came before took until their third season to truly “get good.” So did “Picard.” Let’s then celebrate this show that set out to reach the stars and somehow got there faster than even the legendary series that paved the way for it.

No longer just a spinoff, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds goes boldly into its second season with terrific crew chemistry, more far-flung adventures on tap, and even more depth added to characters who already feel like classics.
