Only Season 4 of “Discovery” and the initial season of “Strange New Worlds” have come close to what “Picard” Season 3 manages. In a landscaped glutted with content, where nothing seems to break through, this is an actual “event.” A well-crafted one at that. The new episodes do not qualify as great. ... Having said that, these new episodes are still a vast, vast improvement over what Picard has done before. The TNG cast has remained close over the decades, and their chemistry from the Eighties and Nineties still works. Read full review

I think the 3rd season of Star trek Picard is wonderful. Each episode truly makes me want to watch the next one. I thought the first season was just ok, thought the second season was poor and I was done. I said I would not watch the third season. But after hearing how it was a return to formI think the 3rd season of Star trek Picard is wonderful. Each episode truly makes me want to watch the next one. I thought the first season was just ok, thought the second season was poor and I was done. I said I would not watch the third season. But after hearing how it was a return to form of Star trek it peaked my interest and I decided to give Picard one last shot after allowing 9 episodes to drop. And I'm glad I did. Picard season 3 is really good. I won't ruin it for anybody and I could use less of the Rafi storyline but all in all I must say I'm impressed. This is what the first 2 seasons should have been. They really saved the best for last… Expand

The best Star Trek since DS9. Season 3 has the spirit of old Star Trek. I hope they make another series in this time period of the 25th century.

Created by people who love Star Trek; acted by a bunch of people who love working together. This is the swansong that Starfleet’s greatest commanding officer and his crew truly deserves.

It has some cringe moments and it is quite bad. By itself it would not deserve the 8/10 I gave it. But because the first two seasons were so horribly bad (0 Points each) and this is surprisingly and refreshingly ok, I had to give it some credit. Somewhat disappointing this turned out to be a nostalgia-laden series that didn't resemble TNG much at all in tone or character. Looking for a series with more exploration, actual characters and is modern sci-fi? Check out Discovery or even Strange New Worlds instead.

Still as bad as ever.
After loving season 1, I fought my way through season 2. Yes, fought, but I still stand.
This season was so bad that I felt sorry for the original cast of TNG. Lousy scripts with even worse stories. Kurtzman failed at full level. Well now we really have anotherStill as bad as ever.

Well now we really have another season and it's still not Star Trek TNG. Themes from 2023 are used, which to me are not science fiction. The stories of the individual episodes are still bad, and the scripts are cruel. They didn't change anything, and they throw another bad season at us.… Expand

They have a doctor killing a disabled opponent, they have garbage dialogue that contradicts itself, they have a computer that can't identify a signal one moment yet has full access to all the data a second later, they have an allergy to light so the ship's bridge is cloaked in darkness, they need to avoid starfleet so they steal a starfleet vessel and the crew are just fine with it.... I can't watch this trash, I can't go a minute without it insulting my intelligence in some way.… Expand
