After a few years ramping up the drama, season 6 of Suits seems to have rediscovered the comedic balance that made it a hit in the first place. [15 Jul 2016, p.64]

I am enjoying season 6 a lot. I wasn't sure if the show would keep up with the quality offered in the other seasons. But so far, it has. I love Mike's plot in prison, and I think the season 6 Harvey is the most badass Harvey we've seen, if that's possible. I love him. Also, I like how theI am enjoying season 6 a lot. Also, I like how the writers and producers are handleling the firm's situation.
One thing I don't like is Rachel's plot. I feel like she doesn't belong to the show anymore. I know that if Mike gets out of prison, she'll be important again. But right now, she is not.

In its sixth season, Suits has been in need of a bit of a rallying cry. The sharp suits and slick feel of the show has worn off a bit and it's now more about substance than ever before. The first half of the season deals so heavily on Mike Ross' going to prison and the challenges thatIn its sixth season, Suits has been in need of a bit of a rallying cry. The sharp suits and slick feel of the show has worn off a bit and it's now more about substance than ever before. The first half of the season deals so heavily on Mike Ross' going to prison and the challenges that presents - chiefly the people that are affected by Mike's time in prison. This offers quite a change in the show's usual formula but it doesn't always equal a more interesting view (though it does some of the time). While the season first 10 episodes spend the most time on prison life and the people affected by Mike's incarceration, it's the season's final 6 episodes that really pack a punch. I remain a solid believer in this show and it's one that I will stick with until the end. However, unless the show can bring the drama and urgency to the level that season 6 closes with, it's probably not worth taking Suits beyond a 7th season (which, without knowing ahead of time, is where I expect this show to call it quits).… Expand
