A walking simulator that drops you into an intriguing story, set in a wonderful world and scored with beautiful music, but still a walking simulator - and one with illogical puzzles and occasionally tricky controls at that.

It's not bad, with its sprawling white city and hard-to-resist freerunning gameplay. However, a disappointing story and graphics that don't always feel up-to-date keep it from joining the pantheon of current-gen genius.

DOOM is an awesome return to form, not just for the franchise but also for the old school shooter genre. It's not perfect - characters get stuck on terrain, there's only a few multiplayer maps and you can't change characters in the middle of a match - but neither are we.
